He waited to see if my BP went down & then directed me to track BP for a month & return with results & my BP machine to ensure its accuracy rather than doing a knee jerk reaction with BP meds. Since that visit he has been available for any heart related testing & advice as I'm very invested in my continued good health. He is always professional, approachable, a good listener, thorough with all details, supportive, trustworthy, and I'm confident that I am in the best hands for my cardiology care/needs. Office staff members are all excellent too.

Horrible level of CARING. They sent my EKG results to my previous doctor (even as my current…read moredoctor ordered the test). At check-in they had my old doc in the records which I CORRECTED AT CHECK-IN. They sent the results to the old doc anyway. I called two weeks after the EKG to figure out why we were still waiting for results, the person that returned my voicemail acted like I was an interruption in her day and could not wait to get me off the phone after telling me the results were sent to "my doctor." Before she was able to hang up, I barely got the words in "what was the name of the doctor because I had to correct my record at check-in?" She said she would take care of it. Two more weeks go by and still no results. Called again, same rushed attitude, same promise. I HAD THIS EKG FOR A REASON!!! STILL WAITING FOR RESULTS A MONTH LATER!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Both are fantastic doctors. I started seeing Dr. Sullivan in 2002 and Dr. Mazel in 2005. Dr. Mazel implanted my Boston Scientific ICD/CRT-D Model N118 at Washington Hospital Center in DC. The best compliment I can give is that they have kept me alive and they have great personalities.

I was scheduled for my appointment today at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. procedure. I live about…read morean hour and 10 minutes away. I received a call around 8:00 a.m., asking if I could come in earlier. I replied how far we lived from the Gastro Assoc, and he said well, you can be here a little bit after 9:00 a.m. We started running around trying to be there on time. We walked in at 9:15 a.m., and there were a lot of people, apparently, who had been told to be there early. The receptionist was clearly annoyed. I went back for the procedure and was not seen earlier. I thought a lot of hassle for nothing. I got back there finally, and the nurse anesthetist was annoyed because they did not have the paperwork regarding some heart problems I have had. She was snapping at me. I had never been told to give them notes from my Cardiologist. I did not appreciate that either. I was looking at the number of patients that they have and the staff running around. It seems to me that they are more interested in the number of people they get in rather than taking a true interest in the patient. The staff is cordial, but very busy. Lastly, I am finally back in recovery. I am dressed and waiting to be released. They said the Dr. will be in a few mins. After about 1 hr, He comes in and talks with me for about 3 mins, and tells me to make an appointment with him. It took so long for him to see me; I think he did another surgery. Meanwhile, the staff had called my husband to pick me up outside. We left there truly annoyed.
