C Cleaners and Shoe Service - The only image I could find (blurry) that shows what they looked like originally. The distressing was OBVIOUSLY a design choice.

If you care about your belongings, if you value customer service, if you want to be treated with…read morerespect... RUN. My mom dropped off my $745 distressed boots to be stretched. She said, multiple times, not to polish. Unfortunately, they don't speak English well, but you would think they would speak the universal language of pointing, the word polish and shaking the head of "no" if they couldn't manage the basics to actually conduct business with English speakers. Not only did he polish the white distressing but he also polished the raw leather along the zipper. DUMB. INCOMPETENT. RUDE. My mom picked them up and called me in tears, she felt so badly for taking them to this joke of an establishment (seriously, are they a front for something?) I went in to get my money back for the stretching and he pretended not to understand English until I totally lost it (which I'm not proud of but I was enraged). Suddenly his English improved and he said my mother told him to polish the boots- so now he's calling my mom a liar. I showed him the photos of the original boots (they were still available and showed the details, including the zipper), the price and he laughed. Yep, he laughed. Again, I lost my cool and was yelling, but he did not care that he ruined boots that were clearly intentionally distressed (even if he was so inexperienced that he couldn't tell, surely everyone would have the common sense to leave the raw edge of the leather along the zipper??!!) I demanded my money back which, to his credit, he did give me. Also to his credit he remained calm but it doesn't change that he was so dumb that he ruined my expensive boots and called my mother a liar. As for the stretching, I'm not even convinced he did that as there is no difference. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very untrustworthy. STAY AWAY! Wants payment up front. I brought a purse to be repaired for $30…read moreand two pairs of shoes. One pair $20 to be resoled and one pair of loafers $10 to have the original 4 small decorative buttons reattached on the left shoe to match the right shoe. All were in excellent shape and he stated that they were "easy" to reattach. He sewed 3 of the original buttons and then used a completely different one that doesn't match at all. He gave me the 4th original button back, still in perfect condition, because he forgot to sew it on and had already put another one on. The second pair of shoes, which I paid $90 for, were not returned to me because he said I dropped off 2 shoes, not 2 pairs. I asked if I could look behind the counter and he raised his voice to me pretending to not understand. So I'm out a $90 pair of shoes, and a pair with mismatched buttons, which in essence, he charged me $30 for. How awful of him.
