Found this place while we visited West Kelowna (Kelowna is now divided into West Kelowna and Westbank) back in June. Kekuli Cafe was located within walking distance from our hotel Fairfield Marriott. They mainly sell Bannocks, sandwiches and coffee. Never heard of what Bannock is until I walked into Kekuli Cafe. Felt too curious of what Venison Bannock was like. It was around $6 for Venison Bannock which wasn't cheap. This pastry was soft and tasty. No gamey smell of venison at all. There was some venison meat which looked and reminded me of ground beef. Forgot to say the pastry was big. I'm glad we went here to try Bannock at Kekuli. John Catucci's picture urged me to try their food. It was worth a try! Staff was fast and friendly.

Maple bannock and a tasty ice maple macchiato to wash it down.

Great service and DELICIOUS bannock. We came back 3 times during our stay in Kelowna. A good variety of bannock offerings and we enjoyed all of them. The coffee was the best we found during our time as well. Highly recommend. The service was top notch every time.

This is a cafe by indigenous people. They have a good selection baked pastry which is different from regular cafe. The dough is slightly heavier just like homemade bread. Drink menu covers most drink including Matcha Latte. They've also have their own merchandise. What I love most is the indigenous arts that they've put up in the cafe. What a great way to support indigenous small business.

Stopped by for a refreshing smoothie on a hot summer day. I really enjoyed it - not too sweet but super flavourful. Ample parking available in front as well.

Bannock sweet treats ! They're massive!

Alright for what it is. Nothing spectacular but the ingredients were fresh, authentic, and the portions fair! I tried their Saskatoon BBQ chicken tipi taco and the Bannock ' bites' which were like EXTREMELY sugar coated doughnut holes.

Chewy and delicious. Sort between a donut and a pizza crust

We were anxious to try Kekuli cafe, a very popular cafe in West Kelowna that features bannock bread. Bannock is a fry bread adopted by indigenous people and this Bannock restaurant gives it a modern contemporary twist, First Nations style! I tried one with a sweet Saskatoon berry cream icing on top and my friend tried a spicy savory one. They were chewy and super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

I pulled up the yelp app as we were driving through kelowna. We were starving and needed to grab breakfast. Kekuli cafe popped up and we decided to try it out. So glad we did! We decided on bacon breakfast bannocks and a sweet maple glaze bannock. They were delishious! This place gets pretty busy. At 9am on a weekend and it was already packed. I can see why it is a popular cafe. They offer great coffee and food at reasonable prices!

Had an amazing experience trying this place out ! The food was unreal, I had a Venison Bacon Cheddar Melt bannockwich and it was so good. Definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try!

I visit Kelowna every year and this is the first stop i make when i leave the airport! Bannock is an addiction and i am so happy i've yet to find it in Toronto! I've had a few friends visit Kelowna this year as well and this is now their favourite cafe! MY favourite is the Salmon sandwich and i always take the mini cinnamon bannock home (because again... i have a bannock addiction). If you're looking for something different to try while in Kelowna i'd recommend checking Kekuli out!

A lot of nice coffees and many kinds of flavoured and plain bannick to choose from. I recommend trying some of their unique salads too.

Tried the beef sausage roll, curried chicken & cheese on focaccia, schnitzel sandwich, and what's now one of my favourite amaretti I've ever had! Everything was so delicious! And I wish I would've gotten the name of the person that helped us out - she was wonderful! Their West K location is just a couple of blocks from me; so, I'm looking forward to swinging by again soon.

Staff going by don't acknowledge the waiting customer. When you place your order they don't give options. Today I ordered two ham & cheese on Focaccia To go! I thought there was a special as the sign said two for $10.50 and they were small. I ordered two from the staff member who had appeared after a few minutes. No questions, she just grabbed two went into the back. Not sure why. Came back with two sandwiches each on a plate in their own paper bag! Rang then up on their fancy card machine and walked away! The amount was $21.00. Another staff member came. I asked the staff member about the sign that said two for $10.50. Was told that was for the small sandwiches which were half the large ones and I got the large ones. End of conversation. No option to get what I wanted. We drove home. Put the paper plates on a dinner plate and sat down to eat. Nice poration of ham & cheese! No lettuce, mustard or cucumber. The bottom half of my sandwich was so soggy I had to throw it out. The focaccia seems like day old. The food has not on average been bakery/cafe quality and lackadaisical service model doesn't encourage me to go back!

So when we got here we were amazed. Its a patio - so its outside. Dress appropriatly. I dont see a kitchen but i am suprised on the variety of the menu. Like this menu has so much stuff its aweosme. The decor is very lovely. The menus look like little scrap book. Love the seating aragments. A wide varaity based on u and your party. So even though we already ate, we are gonna eat again just cause we cant miss this opportunity. My girlfriend ordered a blended iced cap and it was so tight. Ugh im in love. This is like a place i could come to everyday. Now i need to take a moment to say screw the wooden nickel cafe. I gave it 2 stars and want to demote it to 1. Cause this place is that good. Now back to the review. My only thing with this place is i think they only have 2 people working so i find the service is slow. But imma let it slide cause its worth the weight nah mean. This place is so good its actually making me want to work things out with my girlfriend. Just got our food. We ordered wraps. Wanted to eat light. And the wrap tastes like the feeling we wanted. Light, cloud like, really just feeling free. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Seriosuly u can taste the freshness. I should know i just ate food at the wooden nickel cafe which i assume was just bought at the iga across the street. Like iga bruh, isnt that shit suppose to be sobeys now. All in all hit this place up. Its awesome. U wont forget it. And if i can qoute the man who just paid his bill before me "it was wonderful". -fatniss everdean

Slowside Coffee is also located beside Sprout Bread, with a connecting door. I like the ambiance of this third wave coffee shop. The blueberry danish dough was crispy enough but otherwise just okay. My favorite was the monkey bread, with its nicely moist texture and cinnamon flavor. This café is very popular, even on weekdays.
