After having it for a couple weeks, he said it was the transmission control module and would be about $1000. He replaced the transmission control module, but it was still doing the same exact things as when I brought it in. He then told me I would also need a new transmission for another $5-8000! I told him I couldn't afford that and he told me I would still have to pay the almost $1000 for the transmission control module, even though it didn't fix the problem! I asked him to remove the new part, since it wasn't the problem. He refused and refused to release my car until I had laid the $1000! Dishonest!!! Don't take your car there!

I love this place - found it accidentally when it looked like my transmission went out and the tow truck operator for Christiansen Brothers said it might cost me around $2500 to fix - I took a chance and had it towed here - he wouldn't give me an estimate over the phone he said it might not be my transmission. It wasn't. It cost more for the towing than it did to have it fixed - and that was 2 years ago and it's still fine. Honest good work for a great price is what I've received not once but twice.

So unless I am red-lining my truck, the transmission shouldn't be expected to shift properly....
