This business started out by selling old and used cartridges for almost every (major) gaming console ever made. The owner has an enormous, almost unbelievable, selection of games you played, games you wish you had played, and some games that you've probably never heard of. What a trip down memory lane. Yeah, the owner had a nice little business selling game an outstanding variety of game console cartridges...and then he got bit by the pinball bug. So, in his store, he has 24 pinball machines, three cabaret style machines (Galaga, Centipede, Ms.Pac Man), two multigame machines (an iCade 60 gamer, and another that features about 100? vertical scrolling Japanese "maniac shooters..." if those are your thing. There's a Crazy Taxi game, too). The pins range in price from 12.5 cents per play (two credits for a quarter, arithmetic wiz), to a buck per play. Here's the key...every game that I played was in good or excellent condition! What an cool variety of games, he has. Newest game? Jurassic Park (2019) by Stern. Flagship game? Dialed In (2017) Limited Edition by Jersey Jack; that's a $9000 dollar machine. Mike P's favorite game? FirePower (1980) by Williams...25 cents per play...just like the machine at Little Cesar's Pizza on Suder Avenue...back in 1980. There are more pinball machines here than anywhere else, and they are mostly brand new, top of the line editions. All of the machines are well maintained, and usually work perfectly. On the rare occasion when there is a problem with a machine, there is usually a staff member available who can fix it promptly, or at least give you a free game on a different machine. Their use of RFID cards for payment is definitely more convenient than most of the other arcades, which require dollar bills (or even quarters, in some cases). For those who aren't into pinball, there are also a number of other games (claw machines, etc.), making Level Up a great destination for the whole family. Definitely recommended!

For example, I stood in line for twenty minutes to get drinks from the bar because they only had one bartender working. There's only four of ten bumper cars working, or nine of twenty go-karts working. The lines build because there's only so many seats for these, or staff to assist. They had more than any other gaming store I've seen for SNES, NES; there were even Sega Genesis games strewn about. Controllers, memory cards, old consoles, games that you thought you'd never see again. Honestly, I will look here again for anything that I am searching for in the future. The owner was very helpful. Normally, I have to look online for old games and hope that they work by the time they reach me in the mail. But now, I will call this place first to see if they have a game in stock...even if it means traveling a couple of hours. I'm from Cincinnati area but was visiting family in Dayton in July and me and my cousin decided to…read morego here. It was a different atmosphere than Cincinnati and Kentucky rinks. It was cool though, more outgoing, more laid back. There was a lot of people doing dance skating and jumps. One annoying thing I noticed, There were groups of people that would be in the middle of the rink, not in the center area but right smack in the middle of where everybody is skating, and they would be doing a dance in one spot where everybody was trying to skate. That was kind of annoying and that would never fly in Cincinnati rinks! If you weren't careful you might plow right into them. And if you are skating they won't move out of your way, you're expected to go around them! It would be ok if they went into the center circle but they don't, they are out where everybody is skating. I was told by an experienced skater that this is "Dayton style skating" and every city has a different style of skating. The other thing that I didn't like was that there are no refills on water, even if you reuse the same cup! I asked the owner about this because I drink a lot of water and my rink in Cincinnati gives free refills as long as you use the same cup, but he said he couldn't do that. So if you drink water plan on paying for each refill! The rink floor is very slick as well, you can tell because of how shiny it is. A few times I felt my skates sliding sideways when going around curves. I ended up falling here and I hadn't fell in a long time. I fell right on my tailbone hard and it's been 4 weeks now and I'm still having pain. Either cracked or bruised my tailbone. So take precaution and maybe slow your wheels if you come here. I loved the music they played which is mostly hip hop and R&B and the atmosphere was very cool and different than what I'm used to. Three guys were doing jump after jump after jump and I asked them if I could record them and they happily let me. Everybody was very friendly. The owner seemed like a nice guy. I loved the light show and they kept the lights off most of the time so you can appreciate the lights and I think there are black lights too. I can't rate the food because all I got was water. Overall I would come back here if I was in the area again.

We had 10 children and it ended up costing right around 100 dollars. This was including pizza,bounce house,party area and skate rental. The only two negatives are that they only offer pepperoni pizza,so if you have picky eaters they are kind of out of luck. Also,the later it got the harder it was for the little kids to skate safely. There were lots of (well behaved) middle and high school kids going too fast for beginning skaters.

I'm writing regarding an extremely disappointing experience we recently had at your establishment…read more Unfortunately, the level of customer service and professionalism we received was unacceptable from start to finish. We were charged for an extra hour of pool even though the area was completely empty except for us, and not one employee informed us that our time was ending or had already expired. Every other billiards establishment we've been to gives customers some kind of warning or reminder before charging another full hour, especially when staff are literally standing around and the place is not busy. Instead, it felt like the employees simply allowed the clock to continue running so we could be charged more money. The male employee working the front counter around 10 PM 5/18 who were responsible for billiards seriously need better training and need to pay closer attention to the times assigned to customers. It came across as careless, irresponsible, and honestly felt intentionally overlooked just to squeeze extra money out of us. Customers should not have to constantly monitor the establishment's timing system themselves while employees fail to do their jobs properly. On top of that, we were also overcharged for drinks due to another staff mistake. We ordered one drink, yet the bartender made two. Before the drinks were even handed to us, we clarified the mistake, but instead of correcting the order, we were told that "refunds aren't allowed" and still charged anyway for something we did not ask for and never intended to purchase. Charging customers for an employee's mistake is unacceptable. Between the lack of communication, poor attention from staff, refusal to correct obvious errors, and overall unprofessional handling of the situation, this experience completely ruined our night. It's frustrating to spend hard-earned money somewhere that clearly does not value fairness or customer satisfaction when there are plenty of other places nearby that are cheaper, more organized, and actually respect their customers enough to communicate properly. I would appreciate this situation being taken seriously and reviewed by management. At minimum, I believe compensation is warranted for the extra hour charge and the incorrect drink charges, considering both issues resulted directly from employee negligence and poor service. As it stands now, we do not plan on returning, and I would be very hesitant to recommend your establishment to anyone else unless this situation is appropriately addressed.

Bowling, arcade, VR, restaurant, bumper cars and of course, a bar all under one roof, made for a great night with some new friends. The selection of arcade games was smaller than I'd expected but I found a few to play and ended up winning big on the ticket claws. The redemption counter had lots of fun items at reasonable ticket levels too, so I got a bunch of great toys to bring back to my kiddos. The bar was nicely stocked with a decent selection of beer and spirits. I settled on some Old No. 7 neat which did the trick. They also have nice party rooms here and our event had a buffet featuring a selection of their pizzas, a nacho bar, and what seemed to be hand breaded Midwest chicken chunks! Everything was tasty and the staff kept it well stocked too! The staff person assigned to our child's party was extremely helpful and on top of things. The pizza was pretty good and all the kids ate so they must've agreed! It was Semi crowded which can contribute to a bit of kid chaos but not too bad. The kids and especially the birthday boy loved the trampolines! All of the kids had wristbands to play games which many are new & easily entertained all of them. The place was clean and organized. A great choice for a fun time!
