Very cool atmosphere at Indian Lake Brewing Company. We went here on a Sunday afternoon during a…read morelong weekend in the winter. My parents just bought a house in Indian Lake so we have been trying out new places. Baylee was our bartender today and she did a great job ensuring that we were well educated on the menu and knew what to order. I was very impressed how she was the only person working but was able to keep the bar running as well as keep inventory of the merchandise and working on something in the back. My parents ended up both getting flights which I did not get as I am not a beer person. I did however get the seltzer which was pretty good, they have an added flavor that can be added to any seltzer. They had four to choose from when I was there and I liked the white peach. There were also two ciders that were pretty good as well. Can't speak for the beer as again not a beer drinker.

They have great outdoor seating which was strangely empty on this very pleasant evening; everyone was inside where there was loud music and some type of game similar to bingo being played. Last visit was on Friday June 26, 2026. It was my birthday so I told my wife we would go there and…read moreI would naturally buy. I guess that's the price of marriage, but when you are my age, 68, your just happy you are having such a day and hope for a few more. So, we both decided on a flyte each. I brought my flyte list home and here it is: Dry: Bourbon Barrel Cab. I gave it a 15 out of ten. Your damn right, it was and is THAT GOOD. SEMI-DRY: Autumn Leaves gets a 10 and Proprietor's White gets an 8. Why the 8? Well, the Automn Leaves could easily go over a 10 but that would diminish my review on the Bourbon Barel Cab. Semi Sweet: Goes to Cool as a Cucumber. This gets a three. Not that it is bad, just not quite my taste but it is very much worth a try on a tasing. Sparkling: Blueberry Mist came in with a 5. I guess is that I was so enamored with my top three, that nothing else was going to get into that group. So for the meal. O had the Firecracker-Tripple Meat infused (with red pepper flakes) honey. Outstanding if you like a little sweet and spicy. Our server was Justin and he treated us like we were royalty. Now for you Ladies. If you want to get the royal treatment, guess what. In the house next to the restaurant, they are putting in a complete day spa for the women. Yep, steam baths, messages and the works. You will pampered for the day and don't forget, there's dinner and a great wine list waiting just next door. So now if your a little unhappy about hubby hitting the local brewery, here's your comeback. Go tell all the girls in your circle that it's time to visit the winery and get the full schedule of when things will be taking place. ENJOY.

The town center itself has a charming layout, with a circle reminiscent of Troy, lined with shops and activity. The brewery is new, welcoming, and already turning out some excellent beers. We appreciated being able to sample before choosing -- I went with the Blood Orange IPA, which was bright and refreshing, while Nicole enjoyed a smooth white milk stout that was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, with oak tables paired with iron chairs, and a rooftop patio that overlooks the heart of town. They also had some really nice merch available, though we didn't pick any up this time. A fun, inviting place that blends small‑town charm with quality craft beer. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near Urbana!
