Most of the teachers and staff I come across work so hard for how much they get paid. For this…read morereason, I feel like you can really tell that they care about their students and are not there for the money. The campuses are kept fairly clean and look really nice, especially gardens with its recent glow up. I also just love the atmosphere of the library there as well. Yes, you will have your occasional frustrating professor or unhelpful advisor, but that's normal and happens everywhere. Palm Beach State is so affordable and has kept their tuition costs low in comparison to rising inflation rates and insanely high costs of living. You get what you pay for, but also so much more if you find a way to get involved. The opportunities to grow are definitely here, you just really have to have the time and apply yourself. After being here for 2 years, I can confidently say PBSC is the perfect steppingstone for any ambitious person seeking higher education. If you are unsure of your major or what you want to do, please come here. You get exposed to a little bit of everything for cheap. My biggest tip is to interact with the professors and advisors. Most are so kind and have so many connections that will help take you further. Overall, it's a great school. It has as grown and gotten so much better since covid and is worth it.

Had to verify by phone 3 times just for a non- credit course. Overly burdensome - I understand the need for authentication and security but I'm not applying for the FBI. Need to streamline the technology. ASAP

The RN world can be stressful as well so I think this school deferentially prepared me for the working world. I got my BSN a year after my RN. If your considering this school buy the book and make it your new bible! Don't take things personal this is a field that grows and changes all the time the best thing you can do is show up and leave your ego at home so you can learn something ask questions and make mistakes.. its school that the time and place for it. STAY STRONG YALL!! Nursing isn't for the weak and neither is this school!

It is expensive for what you get, and I did not feel the value matched the tuition. They add charges to everything. One of the biggest issues I ran into was that requirements and policies changed after starting the program. Additional hours were added that were not part of the original expectations, which meant having to go back and complete more work and hours than what was initially assigned. This made the program feel inconsistent and frustrating to plan around. Overall, I felt the program lacked transparency and structure. While the instructors have improved more recently, I personally would not recommend this program. I would strongly suggest researching other options before committing, especially considering the cost.
