My instructor, Preme, was beyond helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire experience. She made me feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. No real value added from attending this beyond what you can…read morejust look up online or ask ChatGPT (or probably just get a Bartending 101 recipes handbook for $10 on Amazon; since the only valuable thing was the brief guide on some different terms and recipes) The coolest saving grace was that the room actually resembles a bar area, so you can get somewhat of a feel for it if you've never been back there, but outside of that I feel like I just wasted a bunch of money and time. The instructor was extremely nice and a pleasure to chat with, but there is no course curriculum. It's just speed reading word for word what is in the little booklet, some memorization, and a written exam. I was able to do the whole thing in one session essentially (each session only took 30 minutes - 1 hour to read through, and once I realized there was no learning, just reading and memorizing, I just read the rest and took the exam). My hope was it could at least help connect me to a bar or place I could get some part time hands on experience as is promoted, but it just gives you the login to a website with a bunch of peoples phone numbers or email addresses or job pages at restaurants to apply to. No special in that I though was the connections I was paying for. Also doesn't give you the approved state on-premise or off-premise pouring safety credential so really there was unfortunately nothing beneficial that came out of taking this. It's a cool concept, but this needs a lot of work and enhancements to make it something worth $300. I would've rather taken a mixology class to learn pouring and mixing techniques, or something that takes you to an actual bar to apprentice or something.

I work a lot for the community that I serve and protect, but recently, I finally got the…read moreopportunity to give my wife a break and handle dropping off our children. It gave me the chance to see where my daughter spends her days, and that experience meant more to me than I can put into words. From the warm welcome I received from the director, Kristine, I immediately knew my daughter was in the right place. Kristine introduced me to her teacher, "MJ" who was genuinely excited to meet me and finally meet my daughter's father for the first time. I'll be honest because of my work schedule, I've missed many of the drop offs and pick-ups. But seeing the difference in my daughter when I come home from work has always made me appreciate the people who help shape her when I'm not there. At just three years old, my daughter can articulate her thoughts, carry on conversations, and express herself in ways that truly amaze me. Yes, I read books with her before bedtime and do everything I can as a father, but I also recognize the incredible role her teachers play in helping her learn, grow, communicate, and develop. I want to sincerely thank Little Heroes. The name truly fits because our children are all little heroes, and the people at Little Heroes are helping mold, teach, and prepare them for the future. As a father and as someone who serves the community every day, knowing my child is surrounded by people who genuinely care about her means everything to me. Thank you, Little Heroes, Kristine, MJ, and the entire staff for everything you do for our children. I cannot wait for the upcoming events I'll definitely be in attendance!
