Prometric administers different exams, like the CPA Exam, the GRE, the MCAT, etc. I've been to this location a few times to take the various sections of the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Exam.
The location is nice - your standard kind of testing center. Quiet waiting area, strict identification requirements and rules to adhere to. The lockers for storing your stuff are small, though I was easily able to store my crossbody purse in it. There was plenty more room for me to add other things if I needed (a jacket, etc).
On a side note, there is a parking lot within walking distance. You have three options: a parking lot, metered street parking, or a parking garage. (Read details below)
Prometric is in The Blackstone Building on the east side of Dixie Highway, at the intersection with Clematis. The parking lot is across the street on the west side of Dixie Highway, between Clematis Street and Datura Street (which is one street south of Clematis). It's not cheap - $12 for 10 hours, $10 for 4 hours, and $8 (I think) for 2 hours. My exam was 4 hours, meaning I was forced to pay $12. You have to pay in advance at a pay station. It accepts credit cards and cash, but be warned: it doesn't give change or refunds. There is metered street parking too, however there is a 4-hour limit between 7am and 7pm. Your third option is the Banyan parking garage, located just north of Prometric on the west side of Dixie Highway. The prices are quite reasonable, and you don't have to mess with a lot of quarters.
For anybody else coming to this Prometric location to take an exam: I wish you luck! read more
