Given the volume of positive reviews for this school, I expected a structured and professional…read morelearning experience. What my wife received was not consistent with that standard. She prepaid for three lessons. Across the first two, very little substantive instruction was provided. The majority of the material was deferred until the final session, where it was rushed through all at once. That is not an effective way to teach a new driver. The larger concern was the instructor's approach. The instructor, Luis, spoke to my wife in a way that felt more like scolding than instruction. When she didn't immediately understand something, he would repeatedly ask, "Do you understand?" in a raised, urgent tone. When she made mistakes, he told her, "Your problem is that you don't listen!"--which is not constructive teaching. During a follow-up call, Luis acknowledged that he raised his voice, but described it as a "command voice." Regardless of how it is labeled, that approach created a pressured and discouraging learning environment for a new driver. A three-point turn was demonstrated once, with the expectation that she would immediately perform it. When she struggled, instead of reinforcing the skill within the lesson she had already paid for, the conversation shifted toward purchasing additional lessons. She came home visibly upset after the session. That should not be the outcome of a paid instructional environment. We contacted the school to resolve this directly. The only solution offered was a discounted additional lesson--effectively asking us to spend more money rather than addressing the quality of what was already provided. Given the number of positive reviews, I hope this is not representative of the broader standard. But it was our experience, and it's worth being aware of.

She has since gone on to run over several curbs and get into a not fault accident that she technically could've avoided by paying closer attention to the road. I can't fault the school for the accident, but for the amount of money paid I feel like I didn't get a really good value or instruction. UPDATE: the business manager replied with a useless comment about MY EFFORT to teach my daughter defensive driving. Excuse me buddy that's why we hired you. Showed up and I had not even received the message yet. Of course we were not available since they had canceled. I spoke with the owner who was rude and said did I get an email canceling. I said no I got a phone call which by the way she acknowledged but said since they did not send an email and did show up she would not refund me any of my money. Why would I look for an email when they called me. We had another lesson scheduled for Wednesday which I of course canceled. Horrible way to run a business. I spoke with a customer service representative about signing up for the class. I told her I live in Lee County and didn't understand why there wasn't a class site for the class on Lee County. She never said they provide classes in Lee County. I would have thought she would have let me they don't cover this County. I called today and told them my situation that I picked their school in error. Asked for a refund of my $350. They say not refundable. I said I just picked the wrong school. Isn't that a unique situation? They said no. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Terrible customer service. I asked representative if they are a private business.
