Ultimately, he did not gain admission to the target schools that were recommended as part of the process. When we raised concerns, the explanations we received focused on broader factors such as admissions trends and external dynamics, rather than a clear reassessment of the strategy that had been advised. While the counselor was personable, we did not feel the guidance materially improved our son's positioning in what is clearly a very competitive admissions environment. We ended up adding another school late in the process, which did result in an acceptance, so the outcome was not a complete loss. Given the cost of the service, we expected more concrete value in terms of school selection, positioning, and overall strategy. Based on our experience, we would not choose to use this service again.
