Firstly, I must start off by saying that ANHO is an excellent fully accredited nursing school if…read moreyou want to complete your RN education. I attended ANHO in 2018 and graduated with my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 2021 (I failed Integration so had to stay on an extra semester ; it wasn't ANHO's fault I failed [I inadvertently 'took my eyes off the prize' and suffered the consequences)! However, retaking Integration allowed me to read deeper (I read through every single page of that thick Saunders book; it was actually an enjoyable read)! Once I passed Integration, I took the NCLEX and passed first time around with 60 questions (I can honestly say without a shadow of doubt ANHO fully prepared me for the NCLEX)! This degree WILL NOT be presented to you until you have EARNED it! If you're looking for a 'walk in the park' RN programme; unfortunately, this is not the course/school for you.‍ The prerequisite(s) for this ADN programme is you must have a teachable spirit and a mindset to study. I can assure you there will be days when you don't feel like studying, however, if your end goal is to graduate with your RN education; I personally recommend you have a meeting with yourself and encourage yourself to study for success! Don't worry you'll have some free days, however, not many (well I didn't, as I was self funding and couldn't afford to fail, therefore, I was always studying [trust me the time will fly by whilst you're on this course]). Before you sign up for the ADN programme ensure that you really want to be an RN for yourself and nobody else; and have the mindset to want to study. If you're not planning on studying, DO NOT take this course and waste your money and/or time; seriously. Pre-reading before your lectures is the best way to tackle this course and to be successful. Then during the actual lecture you'll be able to ask questions, etc., and you'll gain a lot out of the teaching/lecture. ALL teachers at this school and who taught me were great and very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful; believe it or not they want you to pass, however, you have to do your bit if you really want to graduate with an RN education. ANHO will give you an excellent foundation and ALL the tools you need to graduate, however, you MUST do your part to be successful; you MUST study to achieve that ADN. I would like to take this time to thank ALL of my lecturers: Dr. B. (Pharm), Miss P. (Psych), Miss K. (Integration) and Miss K. (OB/Peds), Mr. Parker and ALL of the Admin. Staff (Miss Angela, Miss Judi and Dean Asser). To the rest of the staff at ANHO that I haven't named, please don't blame my heart, blame my mind, please forgive me. I'm personally thanking ALL the staff/teaching personnel at ANHO for making my time/experience in nursing school a joyful and memorable time in my life. Continue doing what you guys to best (teaching and producing EXCELLENT NURSES); you ALL deserve a round of applause!

From the beginning of the program there were issues and I should have known then to leave. Between…read morehaving no teacher at multiple different times throughout the program, not being taught material needed for coursework, and relying on prior classes to assist with teaching I would recommend finding another school. I have 10+ years in healthcare and was able to pass due to prior knowledge, not from the teachers here. There were 2-3 good teachers but the rest were useless, including the multiple nursing directors we had. Complaints were pushed aside by all the higher ups when students complained. Our goal was strictly to get out of this place and be done. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The main issue with these schools, particularly in Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, is that their…read moreprimary focus is making money rather than providing quality education. This is especially evident in the nursing program, which is poorly structured and fails to meet basic requirements for a proper nursing education. They have no proper curriculum; the teachers are a complete joke, with zero knowledge and unprepared. Obviously, you cannot present any questions to the instructor, because the answer is: "I am already RN; you answer it." this kind of response you get from the teachers,,(however there is may be one or two good teachers unfortunately these never last ), for these who do not teach well is safe heaven for them and never leave, The director of Nursing have prior knowledge how and what is going in the school also about the teachers... The teachers there are revolving doors. All day long, you are instructed to do assignments on the computer for 9 to 10 hours. The program also has an additional hour, but if the class has teachers with the right curriculum books and is getting it right, it is fine to spend hrs there. Unfortunately, no teachers. All you do is assignments. When exams are given, they do not match what was taught because the teachers and the exam department are not coordinated. The Director of Nursing is not aware of what students are being taught or how. Student concerns are disregarded, leading students to stay silent out of fear. Overall, HCI schools prioritize profit over students' education and aspirations. Consider researching schools thoroughly before enrolling. Reviews of these programs reflect firsthand experiences and may provide helpful insights. Investing time in finding credible nursing programs can help ensure you receive the education you need to pursue your goals successfully.

IN was told that I was not able to access the online portal until the evening before to meet the professor and get an understanding of what is expected during the course but would be able to cancel within a few days with no issues. The 1st day of school I sent an email and left a message stating I would like to cancel due to many reasons and just did not think this was the best timing to proceed and please let me know what needed to be done to cancel. Long story short weeks have gone by with no communication on their end, I even sent them an email the first week and copied several employees because I was getting the sense I was being avoided still to hear nothing. Showed up on my day off Sat morning to return unopened books and they book store was closed and no one seemed to know a thing, I showed them my emails and messages and they were shocked!! Now almost being a month later I have not heard from the them besides harassment calls and emails asking me to sign up for classes for Feb. Needless to say be CAREFUL I was soo excited to start and felt they were helpful in the beginning and after I reluctantly signed the papers (this day I had just came from making funeral arrangements and it was the last day to sign up for classes so they knew I was beyond stressed but assured me not to worry). I fee l was scammed and just opened the mail today and received a bill for $ 2373 for a class I DID NOT EVEN TAKE??????? After being told I had a few days to cancel!!!?? SHADY maybe I'll finally get a call after this post??? Lesson learned... this school is not what it seems, I was hoping to possibly start back up in a few months and am now so disgusted by the pushy sales approach and lack of caring. Good luck
