I was here for my nephews graduation he graduated with an MBA (hope I have that right) the staff was very organized and helpful esp when it came to leaving the auditorium, however the people were not very nice and rather rude to handicap people (shame), and I will leave that right there! The graduation was just the right amount of time, the set up was nice, you can see from all seats. Parking wasnt to bad. Overall it was very pleasant Good luck to all the graduates in your next journey

Florida Atlantic University has been my academic place of studying over the years. I finished my bachelors at FAU. Then did my GRE prep course from here. Then got into the masters program as well. Recently took a executive education course for the CIA exam. The exam seemed like a daunting task and this course of 10 weeks helped prepare for it. Robert who was the program coordinator was excellent in communicating before what was expected. Both the professors (Clay and Mike) for the course were great as well in providing a ton of material and great practice questions. We did questions every class to get in a habit for the test. The test is a three part exam so all the help you can get is good. I totally would take other mind enriching courses to further my career and intellect.~

Coming to this University always brings me beautiful memories, when I used to come with my kids on February for the Regional Science Olympiad competitions and this time I went by myself, to the wonderful event; TEDx Boca Raton. Everything was spotless, restrooms, hallways, and auditorium. The event was wonderful and the fact that they had good lighting, sound system, comfortable seats, and kind staff, helped make this a good night for all of us. Thank you! Gracias

Beautiful, clean cut campus with a very modern, 21st century look, BUT... The breezeway is always under construction. Parking can feel like the hunger games if you don't come early. Parking in certain locations is omitted on game-day (for similar above stated reasons)

I LOVE FAU!!!! FAU is my second home! I've been educated, housed and employed here!!!! There is truly something for everyone! The key to truly enjoying any thing in life is to make the most of it! Get involved! Join a club and make an impact!!!! Great food options on campus, great new facilities *you check out our wellness center and our soon to be stadium*! Have met some of the best people in my world on these 850+ acres! Experience it for yourself! Goooooooo Owls!!!!!!!!

A letter from one of my students during my student teaching. I taught 9th grade and they were great!

My new Alma Mater. I am so proud to have graduated from here with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors. Transferring from Broward College was easy and they have an entire department for transfer students. Most of my professors were top notch! Take Professor Shockley for politics, take Dr. Hanne for history and if you are at the College of Education take Dr. Klein, she is the best professor! The campus is beautiful. Royal palms everywhere and it's a few miles from the beach. Great food and even a Starbucks and Chick Fill A off the breeze way on campus. The football games were fun and I enjoyed taking my sons. Go to the evening games though or you will bake in the heat. Always rent your books from Amazon after you get your student prime account. Never pay full price for books and always wait until after syllabus day. You might not need the book at all. FAU uses Canvas, which I love because it's a user friendly online portal. Online classes were easy and I never had a problem navigating the courses. The College of Education has amazing programs. My program had 30 hours of field work, a 90 hour practicum and a full time teaching internship. You must pass all FTCE exams before your internship so don't wait! They are expensive and seats fill up fast. We trained with the Marzano Evaluation Model and the hands on experience is what schools are looking for. I am now a 7th grade History teacher at my dream school! Decorating my classroom has been surreal and I am so thankful for my time at FAU. Go Owls!

In FAU, there is a hillside that's shaped like a golf course minus the flag and hole, where I love to lie back in the grass to read my textbooks. It's so fun and exciting and actually very friendly. I am a little dreading going back into courses. But honestly I am ready to go and am going to spend as much time on campus as possible and keep a good attitude. I'm going to love it.

Awesome! This university has really surprised me. Our son started going here in the fall and we couldn't be happier. Getting him set up in the dorm was a breeze. On move in day the dorm had many staffers available to help with moving, checking out hand trucks, providing water and just saying welcome. My son's room was very clean. We discovered the cable connector was bent on the wall and they sent a handyman up right way to fix it. We took a tour of the cafeteria, student union, and Football Stadium which was pretty damn cool. We also bought season tickets for the football games and so far we have had a blast tailgating and watching the games. It's been almost two months since my son started going to school here and he loves it. He's made a lot of new friends, he loves his classes and I have not heard one complaint from him. Now I just hope he stays for 4 years and doesn't leave for another school. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Owls up!

Negative first: I've been sitting in a waiting room in the CTU area for 2.5 hours so far. Arrived at 8am. The waiting room is packed. How much does it cost society to lose 50 people's productivity for several hours each time they come here? Sitting in close proximity. People sneezing and coughing. Many are here for chemo. They don't have the luxury of time. Horribly inefficient on many levels. Then I got into the infusion area and it was like night and day. The RN, Ashley, was fabulous. Perfect demeanor, knowledgeable, kind. She was so calm I instantly felt better. They had a recliner with heat and massage, a blanket, and even a choice of snacks. It totally turned my review to a 4. I did find out that today was extra busy. I decided not to give a five because of the hours spent in the waiting room. Overall would recommend.

Over the last few months, having been dealing with severe pain related to my shoulder. Having gone from one specialist to another, I needed to get another MRI done. The specialist I saw was affiliated to University of Miami healthcare system. They had a location in Deerfield Beach, which is much closer than going to Miami. I got everything done here since I knew the doctor was going to receive it right away. Originally my appointment was for 5/1/2018. But I called almost everyday to try to see if they had any cancellations. I was able to get my appointment by 4/24/2018. My health insurance was declining another MRI but the doctor had to call again to get it approved. I got my results fairly quickly. University of Miami healthcare system is very busy, but they have great employees. Side Note: They have a system for patients where a van takes you to Miami from Deerfield beach location.
