We visited lots of colleges, Lynn went out of the way to welcome us, the staff is alert and interacts with guests. The students were talking with each other polite, talking to staff members no matter who the staff members were. The campus was very clean, the dorms were very large. The campus was building new building each year, the year we visited and as soon as one building finished a new one is starting. Very modern facilities, books are are all on line e books nothing to buy. Internships, networking, Alumimn all made this school feel like home. It was instantly our only choice for our daughter. Some students are Aviation Majors, Pre Med, Pre Law, Education, Hospitality, Business, Communication majors, mixed with International students makes this school a great mix yet small enough to get individual attention with small class sizes set in warm sunny Florida. Excellent food too!!

Whoop! Whoop! With da Lynn Knights ...!!! Yessss!!!!! Juggalos.....!!!!

I am alumi from 1986. I loved the unniversity and there was so much to do around the campus. I just haven't forgot my time there.

How is the Conservatory programs? Any input on their music composition major?

Lynn University's Conservatory of Music is highly regarded and internationally respected. It accepts less than 50 applicants a year from a pool in excess of 400. Review the faculty's biographies. It's truly top notch

The school's focused specialties include business, hospitality, and music; although I myself am in the biology program, and I hear the psychology professors are second to none.

FAU's main campus in Boca Raton was established on the remnants of a World War II American Army airbase in 1964. Spanning 850 acres, the site is located between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The campus was designated a burrowing owl sanctuary in 1971 by the Audubon Society. The owls find the campus appealing because there are few predators, due to the university's proximity to the Boca Raton Airport, and because the campus was originally cleared of vegetation when operating as an airbase during World War II. Unfortunately we did not see nor hear any owls while we walked around the area after dark. The Boca Raton campus is home to a wide variety of university programs and facilities. These facilities are labs and classrooms, housing for students, a 6,000-gallon shark tank for aquatic research, a movie theater, athletic and recreational facilities, and the student-run record label Hoot/Wisdom Recordings. The campus feels very spread out and very green, a nice place to jog, walk or run on a nice day, if you feel like exercising among the young college kids.

They let students dictate a lot in the residential areas and they are very vindictive. They will make false reports and try to get you in trouble no matter how untrue. The school takes their word for fact with no proof.

I have decided to review Everglades University because the reviews on here seem to be mostly…read morecomplaints from people who want everything done for them. Here is my take on the school. Bottom line is all schools are for profit even if they say they aren't. They need to make money somehow to cover wages, overhead, etc. Admissions and Financial Aid: I had an easy experience with admissions. I paid the fees associated with admission, took a very basic placement test and sent official transcripts to the school from previous colleges to have transfer credit evaluated. I am a veteran and I use my GI Bill benefits to attend school here. I am taking extra classes each semester to finish faster and hit the annual limit on my GI Bill so I took a small loan which the school helped me with. I had no issues with any of this. The school is a yellow ribbon school (covers extra tuition that the GI Bill doesn't) however I am still active duty and yellow ribbon is not available to those who are active military. Classes: I love the one class a month schedule. It also makes it possible to get an entire bachelor's degree from start to finish using the GI Bill because you can finish in 36 months. There are day classes and night classes. Since the campus and student base is relatively small you cannot always take a specific class when you want. The school does its best to put as many students as possible into each course for that month so they don't end up with one person in each class. It does happen sometimes that you may only have one or two students in a course. When this happens they class becomes a directed study course. You have a reduced on campus class schedule but more on your own work. I also like the relatively small class sizes. I have not had a class yet that was more than 12 students. Some instructors are easier than others, but this is true of any school. Overall I really like this school. It is geared toward working adults. I see the instructors and administrators go out of their way to accommodate students all the time. I will say that you need to manage your time with this school. I see students all the time here that are given homework assignments with a due date a week later and still do not finish it. If you work full time and go to school, you have to be committed to making time to do the school work. The school is accredited so any degree you get should be accepted anywhere. Lastly I will say that the cost is high (about $1800.00 per month (class) and I have seen a couple of reviews on Yelp and elsewhere complaining of this. If you cannot afford to go to the school, then don't. This is a silly complaint. No one forces you to go here. There are less expensive options all over the country.
