A little off the beaten path but worth seeking out this jewelry, rocks, minerals shop. We always make a point to find any rocks or crystals shop on our travels and this was a unique place. There are jewelry cases in the front room with treasures throughout the store. Beautiful crystal formations, bismuth, amethyst geodes, fossilized cave bear skeleton, and more. read more

Kehoe's Agate Shop - Jewelry Near Me - Bigfork, Montana

I can't say I was that impressed. Lots of rocks from all over the world, but was hoping for more local pieces and more things made out of local pieces. Also found the staff not as knowledgeable as I thought a rock shop should be and the attitude of one staff member just felt like she was bored. read more

I've been coming to this hidden gem since I was a child. Back then, I used to buy agate animals and rocks. Now, this is my go-to for Montana sapphires and Yogo sapphires. (And yeah, I still buy the agate animals). The selection here is fantastic and the prices are so much more reasonable than you'll pay downtown Whitefish. The staff are always helpful. They'll clean your rings and check your prongs while you browse. I just really, really trust Kehoe's over most other jewelry shops. It's a bit out-of-the way, nestled between Kalispell and Bigfork. If you should be lucky enough to be out this way, be sure to stop. You will not be disappointed. read more

Lovely little shop that is bigger than it appears. Wonderful job repairing and cleaning my ring and updating settings on several of my mother's pieces. I recommend a stop here read more

The quality, price and variety at this shop all get 5 stars from me. Beautiful selection. I could've spent hours in here.

I love rocks and all the wonders. So I checked out this shop. Some of the best shops I've ever been in are those where one can answer and is willing to answer, "What is this?" Sometimes I luck out and get an education also. Not at this shop at least on my visit. While I was there, another couple was present and making obviously a sizable purchase and talking about being future repeat customers. So the person whom I was making inquiries about certain specimens excused herself to be a part of this couples visit. 3 sales people and I felt like a 6th wheel. Time to leave. It is a treasure trove and I may return, or I may not. read more

This is a hidden gem that is well worth the drive. It had been 15 years since we'd been in the area and we were excited to get to go visit this shop/museum. There are all kinds of gems and stones from all over the world and of every color you can imagine for viewing and for purchasing at reasonable prices. If you're in the area, this is a must see! read more

Listen, if you're looking for some shopping or something interesting to do on a day you're in Kalispell area and not going to the park - do yourself a favor and check out this shop. You'll have to find it - it's tucked out of the way next to the river. And it's called an "Agate Shop" because it has All Things Rocks. If you (or that little boy who's with you perhaps?) are fascinated by rocks & minerals & fossils & the like, it will be super interesting to just poke around for a chunk of the afternoon. [they even have this weird giant bear skeleton, for a little burst of the Natural History Museum you've been wishing you could go back to]. OK, so while the little rock-hound in your party is fully occupied for the foreseeable future, you can turn your attentions to ... the JEWELRY. There are some beautiful and unusual minerals (of course the Montana sapphires but so many others that you've never heard of!) -- all crafted into creative and unusual designs, and you're quite likely to find something that will perfectly supplement your jewelry wardrobe -- and you will REALLY owe it to yourself to buy it. and in case this has escaped your notice - there is no sales tax in Montana - so you can also cross off some holiday gifts from the list while you're at it... read more

We made the stop in here as we were heading south from Glacier National Park to Yellowstone National Park. I picked up a beautiful set of chakra stones for my friend's yoga room. And bridget picked up a beautiful pair of earrings. We were both so happy with our purchases. What a great little store surrounded by deer and water. Will definitely stop in again. read more

Kehoe's Agate Shop - Beautiful agate earrings! - Jewelry Near Me - Bigfork, Montana

This is THE PLACE to buy jewelry in the Bigfork area. My wife has been coming here for some 60 years plus and I have been coming the 40 years of our marriage. We stopped in to see if we could find something for an anniversary present. In past years, rocks and crystals predominated and they still have a wonderful selection. However, over the last 20 years, they have moved into more fine jewelry. That is what we found this visit. We were able to find something very nice; given the fact we are dealing with fine jewelry, what we purchased was priced fairly. The service was excellent. There were many choices. When the pendent was picked out, there was good selection of earrings to match. No one tried to see up. We made a very nice purchase and they made it easy to buy something very nice. As we have nearly every year we visit this area, I expect many more visits to come. This is a hidden gem, pun intended. Come visit. read more

Jenna(hope I spelled your name correctly) provided excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable about all agates, stones and jewelry. My daughter and I walked away, with the most beautiful stones! I highly recommend going to Kehoe's, and a big thank you to Jenna, your kindness was greatly appreciated read more

What a wonderful store! A real treasure in BigFork. Leslie never fails to have good ideas and unique, beautiful jewelry. And with Covid, they are doing everything possible to make us feel safe. They are wearing masks and keeping things so clean. read more

Kehoe's was literally the highlight of our vacation for my 9 year old son. Glacier park meh, sport fishing on Flathead Lake nah.... It was our trip to Kehoe's that wins for him. This is a great shop and well worth any confusion you may have on the long and windy road to get there. Beautiful stones, incredible jewelry and a totally awesome staff make Kehoe's worth the drive. The lovely lady helping us really took her time talking to and interacting with my little rock hound. She found us all sorts of interesting (and appropriately priced) options to choose from and wrapped up his purchases in a way that made him feel special and made his purchases seem important. Really great place and much more than a jewelry store. read more

One of Montana's real gems! If you're a jeweler or just a rock hound, Kehoe's has something for you. They've got something for everybody. A++ rating here. One of my favorite gem stores in the Northwest to be honest. read more

This place is full of amazing treasures and they know their stuff. We bought several things on a recent trip and kept their business card to call if we are looking for specific items in the future. It's definitely worth the stop! read more

We love to find tucked away "rock shops" on our travels and were hoping this would be one of those. It's fine, but it's a bit of a tourist jewelry store so it wasn't what we were looking for - and a bit pricey. read more

Best agate, gem, and jewelry shop anywhere. You must ask questions to get information on custom and semi-precious and precious stones and materials. Very very knowledgeable owner. Always the highlight of my trip to Flathead area. read more

I have never failed to find something beautiful to buy when I have stopped in!! And their customer service is amazing!

Kehoe's is much more than a just a jewelry store! Looking for a unique gift or just some tumbled stones? They've got it! A totally unique centerpiece for your home? Yep, you can find it here! I've purchased everything from tumbled stones, to crystal spheres, to jewelry here, and it's all beautiful. The staff is all really friendly and very knowledgable about all of the different stones, how they're formed, and their origins. To top it off, you can literally find something here for ANY budget, from $1 tumbled stones, to a $20 pendant, to $4000 earrings. All of the jewelry I have from here is made by MT artisans, as is most of what Kehoe's carries. There's a reason locals shop here, and it's not just a "tourist" store. Stop in if you get the chance! read more

My daughter and I went there to check whether they might have loose sapphires. They had SO many to choose from, and the salesperson, Julia, was very accommodating. She took the time to educate us on the different types of gems and metals for the ring she wants. If you are in the market for beautiful jewelry or unique animal carvings, or anything in between, this is the place to find it. A little off the beaten path, it's well worth the trip down the road. The prices are totally reasonable, and the people there are all extremely nice! read more

Kehoe's Agate Shop. But MUCH more than agates. Very cool shop. Bought three Montana sapphires. Beautiful stones of high quality and the best price I have found anywhere around. They also have custom made jewelry with so many precious stones including diamonds you will have a hard time making up your mind! Lots of other cool stuff too. Definitely worth the stop. Very friendly staff and a fun place to visit. Between kalispell and Big Fork. Prices from inexpensive to very expensive. Something for everyone. read more

A disappointing end to an otherwise perfect day with my family. Bigfork was a delight until attempting to visit Kehoe's agate shop. Our reception at 5 minutes to closing was chilly; as we were asked to stand outside while the 'high value' jewelry was put away. The shopkeepers comments left my family feeling frustrated and mildly insulted by the insinuation that we weren't to be trusted around the shop's offering. After over 20 minutes of waiting in the swarm of hungry lakeside mosquitos, we gave up. A member of the staff briskly walked to their car, following a stranger danger protocol of aggressively driving past us while talking into a phone. It's unfortunate we were treated this way, and will continue buying our agates elsewhere. Do not recommend. read more

I live in western Washington state, but have been to Kehoe's Agate Shop a number of times when I have been visiting family in the Bigfork area over the last 35 years or more. For Christmas, I decided to replace a single sapphire earring my husband lost last year, and I spent some time looking at all of the national retail jewelers near where I live. I not only couldn't find anything I liked (set in silver or white gold with a screw on back), but no place would sell a single earring. I finally thought of Kehoe's with only 8 days until Christmas. Leslie at Kehoe's worked with me by phone and text, and said they would do their best to have it to me by Christmas. It arrived on Christmas Eve, exactly as promised, a small but beautiful Yogo sapphire set in white gold that my husband loves. (We particularly like Yogo sapphires, and have them in our wedding bands.) I know I bought a higher quality piece of jewelry than the national stores were carrying, and I couldn't be happier with the service Kehoe's provided. Just wish I had started with them and saved myself all of the running around to other jewelers. read more
