WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND THEY RUINED MY ENGAGEMENT RING! I took my ring into their store to get sized. They did a good job with cutting the band down a size and resoldering it but when I got the ring back my opal had a deep scratch in the middle of it. I took it back yesterday to have the scratch buffed out and told them I wanted the ring back that same day. The woman at the front desk, who was rude the first time I even went in there for the sizing, told me I had to wait til Thursday to get the ring back because there were other customers infront of me. When I told her that i was a customer last Monday and that this shouldnt even be happening, and that the only reason I'm a customer again is bc they damaged my property, and I shouldnt have to wait longer to get my ring back, she said "listen here lady, it was an accident! Accidents happen! I never said we arent gonna fix it!" After telling her I was disappointed in their customer service and wanted the ring back in perfect condition she hung up on me. She called back later to tell me that "Dave squeeeezed ur ring in!" I went to pick it up and this is what they gave me. (Top is after they "fixed" it. Bottom is before I took it in) ...they completely filed down all of the facets and there is still a dent in the center of the stone where the scratch (that they made) was to begin with. The prongs are now uneven and some of the leaf work is bent... When I went back in there today to demand they fix the problem Dave was quick to tell me theyll ship it off to Missoula to have someone recut the stone and it would take 3 weeks. However I dont trust that place or anyone associated. He will be paying for my ring to be shipped over seas to the maker, pay for a new stone to be set, and also pay for the shipping cost back to the states. I appreciate that he is making this right but I am devastated as the beautiful sentimental engagement ring I have worn for THREE DAYS already needs replaced due to their carelessness. I will never go back there again and I plan to tell everyone I know about my experience with browns jewelry! read more
