Stayed in the Treutlen room on the first floor; the room cost $481 for one night. The heat was set to 80* in the room & we couldn't figure out how to turn it down. At 1:30am my husband announced that he was so hot & uncomfortable that he was going to go sleep in the car. He went to the front desk for assistance; the gentleman returned, flipped on the lights, and explained you had to stand in *just* the right spot in the room & point the remote at *just* the right angle to adjust the temperature. "Sorry, they should have told you guys that when you checked in." The house is historic & beautiful, but with that comes paper thin walls. Every time someone walked down the stairs it woke us up. We got to enjoy all of the chatter and noise from the parlor/kitchen/front desk. I paid a painful $481 for a terrible night of sleep. Upon check-out, I gave this same honest review to the employee when she asked me how my stay was. There was no offer for a partial refund, or a credit to put toward a future stay (which would have gone unused, but the gesture would have been appreciated). Instead, I was told they don't orient people to their rooms, and of course they would have the heat on, it's winter. Would not stay again and would not recommend to others. read more

Checked in Sunday, August 10 and departed August 12, 2025. We were greeted by Rita Wilson, no relation to Tom Hanks, wife, who was super helpful, joyful, informative, as well as funny. Our rooms were outstanding, clean and well decorated. The hospitality was second to none. Todd and Ty, the Chefs prepared excellent breakfast and high tea. What a great place! The service was fantastic. Our room was lovely. The location was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. The property is wonderful - beautifully appointed and very clean. The accommodations are wonderful and the staff is fairly knowledgeable and very friendly and professional. We did not give this a 5 star as the breakfast is really not very good. French toast that has flown over the egg and is therefore dry and made with baguette slice on an angle is not what we would expect. Another guest ordered an egg dish and could not eat it. The only other negative we have is that, although the staff is very friendly and eager to please- some are knowledgeable and others really are struggling to be helpful regarding sightseeing and restaurants. One last very positivie comment - the cooky package on the door knob each night wasa real surprise and treat - and they were delicious. read more

Loved our stay at this charming and historic B&B! We were hesitant to stay at any hotel due to COVID, however Kehoe House made us feel comfortable and safe - plexiglass at check-in desk, social distancing rules in place, staff in masks, and hand sanitizer and gloves readily available. The entire establishment was very clean and well taken care of. Originally planned on staying for one night, but quickly tacked on another night. Service was impeccable! From the minute we stepped into the Kehoe house, a friendly hostess greeted us. We were welcomed into a family of hardworking staff that tended to our every request and strove to provide excellence! Kiki, the chef, cooked up the most delicious breakfasts, which were served on our charming balcony both mornings. She was very accommodating to any special requests! The B&B also offered daily happy hour snacks with wine and delivered dessert and cookies to the room. They go above and beyond to make guests happy! Our room was spacious - bed was comfortable and high quality toiletries. Turn down service was provided. Definitely recommend paying a bit more for a balcony. Great location, right in the heart of historic Savannah and an easy walk away from just about anything. My husband and I stayed here for a weekend get-away and i can't say enough about this beautiful gem. The staff made us feel at home the moment we walked in. Let me correct myself, the staff seemed more like family so sweet and welcoming. Miss Rita took care of our tour accommodations and even called us to make sure we were having a nice time. If I could give 6 stars I would! The staff is absolutely incredible and the southern hospitality is off the charts. They feed you constantly and will deliver breakfast to your room. Have free champagne and wine in the afternoon, accompanied with snacks and dessert at night. They leave you with a thank you card and trail mix for the road. The rooms are historically and elegantly kept and for us was spacious. Would stay here next time we come to town for sure! read more

While the home is beautifully furnished with period antiques, our experience showed us that older homes need a lot of attention. The shower/ tub combination let an equal amount of water in the bathtub and shower. so when you try to shower, the pressure is reduced. The toilet also dripped during the night. You cannot control your own thermostat, and our airconditi broke down on the second night. To be fair to the owner. she did supply us with a window version, but this was not what we expected for the money we paid. read more

I recently stayed at the Kehoe house on my anniversary with my Husband. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the most wonderful gentleman, David. He gave us the most thorough history of the house and was such a delight. While the House was great, David was the real star. He carried all 5 of my bags upstairs grocery style- all in one trip. He went as far to grab me the 3 extra pillows I desperately needed. The complimentary sodas were wonderful and the coffee cake was divine. David was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the history of Savannah and the house. My husband and I decided that we would opt out of the Savannah Trolley tour because we felt that David covered all we could know about Savannah!! We truly can't decide if we were bigger fans of Savannah or David! Stellar employee. read more

Jessica and David checked us in and Mike and Eve were on the night shift. The chef, Terre, was great for a large variety breakfast, afternoon hors d'oeuvres and evening dessert. Each morning they also provide the most amazing breakfast, customized to individual choices. You know how in some situations you have a lot of questions and seem like an annoying tourist? Never for a moment felt that way here. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The a/c in our room, the Fiore, worked great. So good to come back from the heat to a very cool and clean room. Breakfast every morning was so good!! Makes for a great start to the day when you don't have to leave your hotel to get good eats like crab cakes Benedict, lemon ricotta pancakes, frittatas, French biscuits and more!! On my short list of the most beautiful hotels where I've ever rested my head. Amazing service. Everyone who works there is attentive and kind. Every detail is top-notch. They served a delicious spread of h'or d'heuvres and wine in the evening, and they even went to the trouble of preparing a delicious breakfast to-go, because I had to be at the airport early the next morning. There are always tea, coffee, and other beverages available for guests. Our room was the Juliette Gordon Low suite, and it was exquisitely comfortable and beautiful. The location of this bed and breakfast is convenient and easy to walk to. We found parking right outside the hotel on the street, and it was so easy and convenient as well. Oh- and how can I forget the local harpist who comes in during the evenings. She takes requests and she played an amazing version of Metallica "Nothing Else Matters". And Lisa, who works the overnight shift is so nice and friendly- I really enjoyed talking to her! I really can't imagine returning back to Savannah and staying anywhere else. read more

We enjoyed our stay here in this charming, romantic, and lovely Bed and Breakfast boutique. It was in the heart of historical downtown Savannah and very walkable to landmarks and restaurants. Great location. Service here was excellent. All the workers were so friendly and had that southern charm. I liked how this place had happy hour time each evening with appetizers and wine. To top it off, they had a sweet little dessert for you as well. Breakfast was wonderful each morning, created by a special chef each day. Our room had furniture with the old style giving you that feel that you are in the 1800s or early 1900s. At first, I was weary thinking I would get spooked in the middle of the night by some old spirit. But, I think it was my imagination getting the best of me. We truly enjoyed our stay here. This is the place to stay in Savanah! It's a luxury bed and breakfast. Rooms are lovley, huge comfortable beds and very nicely decorated, in keeping with the age and beauty of the building without having you feeling like you are staying in a museum. Breakfast each morning is a highlight, they have a menu to choose from or the chef will kindly make you anything you fancy. Food was delicious and served anywhere you like. We ate on the balcony by our room. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's very centrally located and they have parking at $15 a night. I'd highly recommend a stay here. read more

"Send for the children, darhling. I will not be returning home," I joked with my husband, donning a sly smile, complete with a pinky in the air. I sipped on my mimosa as the gentle Georgia breeze caressed my skin, the promise of summer heat still an hour away. I sat, completely at ease, on our semi-private veranda, reached only by climbing through a bedroom window I found undeniably southern in its charm. It was June 2018 and I, along with my husband of almost 18 years, were vacationing at the Kehoe House...a trip 8 years late in the making given that I was married to an active duty military man who was gone more than he was ever home. A trip to Savannah--one of the top priorities on my bucket list--was finally coming to fruition, and all the pictures online and personal testimonies from trusted friends could never do it justice. As I crossed that mighty bridge into the epitome of the Grand Old South, I gasped as I was consumed with the beauty that was Savannah and I honestly questioned how I was supposed to ever return "home". Mornings were spent waking leisurely after a restful sleep that was never achieved at home...in awe of the grandeur of the room that greeted me. As I climbed out of bed, a soft knock on the door would bring foods, delivered on a silver tray, which could never be duplicated at home for their mouth watering delight was something straight from my dreams. Crab cakes, crepes, the freshest of fruits and if nothing on the menu suited us, they would make something to our request. The kindest woman would deliver our breakfast with smiles and wishes for a wonderful day and I couldn't help but feel like royalty...a feeling unknown to a military wife who had spent most of her time just trying to care for her three children while living away from family and while her husband served his country for lengths that would sometimes equal three quarters of a year. Luxuries of this nature were unknown, foreign, and welcomed with feverish delight. Historic discussions paired with mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres and house wine, local tours and strolls along charming streets filled our days. Never once did we drive--choosing, instead, to walk from destination to destination as we became more and more convinced we could never return to "normal life". Historic Savannah holds an allure...a charm...a welcomed escape that makes one feel as if they are in a bubble--a bubble that allows you to exist in a never ending cycle of hospitality, charm, and decadence. The last seventeen months have brought twists and turns, trials and tribulations, that I could never have predicted back during the summer of 2018. But such is life...one can never know what is to come. What I have learned through it all, however, is that perspective-- along with incredible memories--can get you through almost anything. Everyone needs a happy place...a place to remember, to escape to, to make them smile--for us, that is the Kehoe House. I can not tell you how many times, since our visit, my husband and I have brought up our stay there--the staff, the meals, the house itself, the history. Being whisked back to that vacation has given us so much happiness and peace during the chaos that can be daily life. We will never be able to truly express what it meant to us. When we said we could not wait to return and were desperate to try and stay another night because we simply couldn't fathom leaving just yet, we meant every word. Their kindness, graciousness and the ability to make us truly feel like family meant more than we could ever express. Ebony is one of the Chefs. Her banana walnut and chocolate strawberry pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever eaten. The Eggs Sardue was a great twist on Eggs Benedict. Artichokes, sautéed spinach, poached eggs with Bernaise sauce. Simply delicious! It's a real treat to stay at this house. read more

We loved our stay at the Kehoe House! It was so lovely and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here for our anniversary and I requested a room with a balcony. I expected to have to share one, but we didn't. Our breakfast was sent up every morning and we had a lazy morning every morning on the balcony eating breakfast and reading the news on our macs and iPhones. We defined lazy and it was great! Our first night we had champagne and dipped strawberries delivered to our room for our anniversary. Lovely. Wine at five, and sitting on the porch was wonderful. I have no complaints, but my husband could not be more satisfied with the wifi. It may seem silly, but he thought it was great (even told me to make sure that I included it in my review). Centrally located to everything you would want to do, you may think this is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, and you don't need a car. We loved our stay! read more

This place is just as classy as it gets. My boyfriend and I came here as an escape from a rainy beach vacation in Florida. We were expecting a nice place, but had no idea what was in store for us. The concierge was extremely helpful, offered to help with our luggage, helped us pick out a place to eat. The room was incredible. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We had champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries waiting on us. At night, you have to hang your order for breakfast in a sachet they provide on the door. The breakfast is unbelievable. I had bananas foster french toast with bacon. Out of this world. I will definitely be returning here. read more

We came to Savannah, Georgia to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary and decided to stay at The Kehoe House. We had no expectations because never really stayed at a B&B before. This place is exceptional! From the time we walked in the front door we were treated like family! Everyone is so warm and welcoming! I love that it only has 13 suites, so everything is intimate! Our room was immaculate every single day! We loved getting a big full breakfast in the morning... so filling we wouldn't eat lunch until 2-3pm. Then we would go back to the Kehoe House around 5pm for horderves and wine then dessert at8pm! This place is a must! We will definitely return!!! read more

This was our pick for our mini honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The staff is amazing and does a wonderful job helping you feel at home, as well as navigating a new city. I would actually give them 3.5 stars and here is why: Pros: -Great Customer service - all of the employees at this inn were polite and helpful. The nighttime concierge even walked us over to the room and gave us a rundown of amenities -ATMOSPHERE - this place really feels like living in a movie about the 1800s in the south. Beautiful location and furnishings. - Good breakfast in the morning - the food is tasty and the breakfast service is unique and comfortable Cons: - TOO EXPENSIVE for what the place can offer. The building is historical and furnishings match the period - which is lovely. But at the end of the day, comfort and amenities go into considerations for price. At its cheapest, the inn runs for $200 per night. That is the bare minimum. At that price a simple bathroom that looks like it could be in a Holiday Inn, tiny TV set from the early 2000s and in-wall air conditioners simply don't fit. The atmosphere is beautiful but the place is not quite comfortable and prices should honestly reflect the amenities you are getting. - This one is a BIG con - there is a $15 per night parking charge to park your car in a gravel lot a few blocks away. This annoyed me to no end because my feet got wet and dirty parking in this place, I had to walk a ways back to the room and I was paying for this?? Again, not a feature akin to such a pricey hotel. They need to come up with a better idea. - Dead ants on my bed. This one is self-explanatory. I know it's Savannah and the climate lends itself to insect issues. But I paid a nice fat price tag for my stay. Do you think you might check and make sure I don't lay on dead insects when I get in? Just saying. If it were not so pricey, I would be more forgiving. I DID have a nice time and I tipped the staff very well because they do a good job. But management needs to make changes or consider lowering prices. read more

We stayed in the John Wesly room for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The staff were all incredibly friendly and so helpful. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. My husband and l are not picky eaters so the choices they provided were perfect but they made sure to let us know if we wanted something different it could be arranged. The first morning we had planned to eat on the second floor balcony but slept too late so we called and had them bring it to the room instead and there was no trouble. The second morning we ate out in the little garden area in the back and it was great. The kehoe house is walking distance to all of the sites in the historic district which was perfect. I loved this place. It was beautiful inside & out. We stayed in the James Edward Oglethorpe Room which overlooked Columbia Square. There is a complimentary full breakfast, afternoon tea & desserts, and wine & hors doeuvres. For breakfast you get to choose your own entree. I had an omelet made to my liking. It was really yummy. The staff was also very nice & super helpful. I really loved this place and would highly recommend it. Supposedly rooms 201 & 203 are haunted though, so watch out! :) read more

I am so grateful to the Kehoe House for a wonderful wedding weekend. We booked an elopement package. It covered two nights, the ceremony location, cake, flowers, officiate, a carriage ride. The rooms are stunning. I love the whole house. It made for beautiful wedding pictures. Kaitlyn was very kind and nice to work with. The breakfast was incredible. We had two balconies. One you got to through a window in the bathroom (awesome view) and the other just off the bed. Columbia square was out the front balcony as we were in the Mercer Room. Its walking distance from Bay and River Street. Or you can catch a trolly or carriage. I love this city. So stunning. read more
