Beautiful Spanish moss covered trees.

My wife and I were in Tybee for a night and found this really cool bed and breakfast. Absolutely loved it. The house is about 115 yrs old and the owners have have been open for under a year, but they've got it figured out. Customer connection is key, and they nailed it. The personal attention was fantastic. Room was the "Lighthouse" room on the upper level. It has a small balcony w/ a high top table with a view of the light house. In the morning, we sat out there to have a cup of coffee. The trees are gorgeous, covered in Spanish moss. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was great (he knows how to make the eggs delicious). They are about to start a renovation to remove old flooring and put down hard-woods, etc. and I'm sure it will be gorgeous when it's all complete. We will be back again.

So my mom and I were so excited to visit Tybee Island because we had never been before and I saw the ratings for this place thinking it was going to be so awesome, but that was not the case. The tub did not look clean, it had a ring on the inside of it and the shower curtain was covered in mold. It could've been washed before we came there but it was not. We did make sure to tell her that the curtain was moldy before leaving though. The food was just okay to me, seemed as if she just used the same ingredients as the day before. The lady was nice but that place should've been cleaner. I have been to a bed and breakfast before so I am very disappointed in this place.

EXCELLENT place to stay! My Husband & I stayed there one night after Thanksgiving 2020 just for a quick get away & had the absolute best time! The Inn is within walking distance to the ocean, a local theater & several eateries. There's even a park nearby & the Tybee Lighthouse isn't too far either! Thank you, Alona for your kindness & hospitality! We look forward to visiting again!

Definitely the best place to stay in the island. The Inn is amazing, the rooms are fantastic and the hospitality is top notch. Staying here made the weekend extra special and was great to be within walking distance of the theater, lighthouse and battery museum,, food, park and other places. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyOne going to Tybee Island as the place to stay!!

View of our room: Suitable, but a bit overpriced for the quality of lodging ($800+ for 3 nights)

Really great experience at the Tybee Island Inn. The house was located in an ideal location and within walking distance to the beach. The breakfast each day was good, but I do believe it was a bit overpriced for the quality/size of rooms (my only reason for 4 stars). Would recommend and visit here again.

We only had the opportunity to stay at Tybee island inn for two nights but we highly enjoyed it. The owner is very personable and really makes you feel at home and welcomed. She provides bikes to rent for $10 per day, beach chairs at no cost, beach bags with towels, and the beach is within walking distance. She also serves a very balanced breakfast daily at 9. She was even able to accommodate my taste preferences (I hate eggs). I can't speak for all of the rooms but our room had a king size bed and a tub for two. One thing I found odd was that we were unable to choose which room we stayed in, as the house has 7. We got our room assignment upon arrival. The estate is absolutely stunning. We will be returning.

Tybee inn is a beautiful place to stay!!! Soo cute! The inn keeper is an excellent hostess, and she made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I took a last minute getaway trip and decided to try a B&B for the first time! Our room was sooo cute, very clean and very roomy. We had a wonderful time. Linda was great and very informative on the history of the building and the time frame! Breakfast was soo good! Thank you for a good stay!!! We will be returning!

I find it really hard to believe that the reviews on this site are real! We stayed in the lighthouse room and it was no less than disgusting. The place looks great in pictures but it smells musty and the paint and wall paper are coming of the walls. We are B&B people and have stayed in hundreds all up and down the east coast.Breakfast was strange. The woman said she mixed all the juices she had in the refrigerator together, it was so sticky sweet I could not drink it. Over $250.00 a night and I can't get a glass of fresh Juice !!! I am an early bird and the woman said she would leave a Keurig machine out for me, well she did the first night, but not so surprised when it was not out the next morning.I had to convince my wife that we would only be sleeping here and spending most of our time out. Should have left and stayed at the Hampton Inn. A picture is worth 1000 words... Just not in this Case. Giving this place one star is generous.

You could tell how much thought and effort went in to presentation, flavor and diversity. I loved the peach cream baked french toast so much I had to look up similar recipes so I can make it at home. There were always cold drinks in the mini fridge, ice in the cooler, water in a pitcher, snacks in a bowl and best of all something homemade every day. I can't decide if my favorite was the rocky road bars, or this chocolate peanut buttery rice crispy like dessert. We stayed in both the Sunrise Suite and the Starfish room because neither were available for all five days. Both are fantastic! Hot roomy showers, oh so comfy robes, soft sheets and towels, mattresses that were not too soft nor too hard, perfectly painted, and well chosen decor. The house has a covered porch on three sides so there are loungers in both the shade and in the sun by the pool. My favorite spot was the swing. The beach is a five minute walk away, not crowded at all, and made for long walks. I love to travel and try new places, but Surf Song on Tybee is a place I will look forward to returning to in the years to come. I wished we lived closer so we could visit several times a year.

It was rainy and cold all weekend but we didn't mind honestly because the room was so wonderful and cozy! There were indoor cushioned swings to lounge in, complimentary robes, and the linens were to die for. It was so quiet it felt like we were the only ones there, and we had the absolute best view! Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed chatting with the owner, as she was super attentive, warm, and friendly. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch swing before heading out for a walk on a the beach once the rain had cleared. We will absolutely be back to Surf Song for another stay in the near future! We cannot recommend it enough!

These were available for any guest that needed these items. However, I recommend purchasing an umbrella at a store before going to the beach. Her breakfast was amazing and we were impressed! She also brings afternoon alcoholic drinks and snacks! She's also done a great job adjusting to Covid-19 protocols! It's very disappointing because my friends and I were looking forward to visiting this sweet looking Inn. She was quick to judge over the phone without knowing that 3 out of 4 of us are Sunday School teachers, 2 out of 4 of us work at our church, and one of us is a doctor. we do not "party."
