    Fall calls for cider!
    Suzanne N.

This place is down a gravel road near Northfield, very well marked, just follow the signs. The place is really nice. Order inside, lots of choices. I tried a "dry" flight and a "not-dry" flight. Had some faves in both, the Medium of the non-dry and the Wild of the dry. They have these lovely toasted sandwiches; I had salami and rye, my friend had the turkey and Gouda. So good and we got a platter of hummus, crackers, cheese curds and olives. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Worth the drive!

Loved this family owned Apple orchard, we met with family and friends for cider and toasties and live music we had an awesome time and made new friends. The owner came out to our table to make sure we were all well taken care of. It was great.

Keepsake cidery is a charming little place on a lovely farm, where they grow the apples they use to make the cider.

We visited to grab a cider here and pizza from Little Tomato, a food truck (permanently?) parked just outside the main entrance, prior to a Twins game. The cider-tender helpfully described a couple of the ones we had questions about. In the end, I ordered the Jamberry, a combination of sweet and tart at 6% ABV. It was the perfect match with the pizza we ordered. Although our time was short due to the game start time, I could see easily hanging out here for a while. MISC Darts are located inside and cornhole outside. Private areas can be reserved for events. Parking seemed to be limited to street parking and requires downloading an app (unless you already have it on your phone). Target Field is a short walk from here.

There wasn't many people here at all. I was really impressed by all the decor and nice rooms to sit in. We ended up hanging out on the patio since we did have a bigger group & it was nice out. They offered a nice variety of ciders as well as a few slushies (even a peach ring flavored thc one). I don't recall the flavor I got (Maybe margarita?) but it was good! They also had board games as well which is nice.

This is a…read morespacious brewery bar with lots of seating (indoors and out), some areas selling merch, take-home drinks, and THC products, and four indoor pickleball courts. We had a great time playing on the courts, and really enjoyed the bar experience. They have sweet and savory crepes, and I ordered one of each and they were really good! The savory crepe I chose was a Reuben which was very flavorful, and used a unique buckwheat flour for the crepe that was cool. My dessert one had bananas and salted caramel and I loved that. I asked for "light coconut" on it, and the cook, who I learned is the owner, served it to me and sincerely asked if that coconut amount was what I had in mind (it was). Super nice people there; very friendly neighborhood vibes. It is a pricier rate for the courts than others we've used but we still like it and will probably be back to play. Oh, and the cider! It's good! I got the N/A cider which truly distinguishes itself from just something store-bought. It didn't compensate for the lack of alcohol with cheap tartness. I liked it. And my friends LOVED the Blueberry Borealis hard cider, and it looks like they have multiple truly intriguing options. I really like this place!

There are a ton of flavors and they rotate options depending on the season, along with some core staples that are always there. You can find everything from really sour to really sweet and pretty much anything in between, so there is something for everyone. The space itself is large and open, and they lean into pickleball quite a bit, with courts and leagues if that is your thing. I usually just come to grab a cider and sit down for a while. It is a great place for a date or to hang out with a group of friends. They also host events like trivia nights from time to time, which I have been meaning to check out.

They also have a good selection of other snacks and local goodies worth checking out. Mary in the Country Store was great, friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The thing is it's 3 adults & 1 child, paying $80 to get in to watch 1 child play is not worth it imo. Most of the activities are geared towards younger kids. They do have a free area in the common area. There's a smaller sweets store, bar & gift shop/cafe. All of it was pretty underwhelming. The sweet shop hardly had anything but caramel apples and few stuffed animals. It's still pretty early in the season so it's weird to see the space so empty same with the other shop/cafe. Not much going on. The cafe where you order food was odd looking. Like a counter in the back of a warehouse vibes. Floor was messy and just didn't look like somewhere you should eat out off. I got in like to grab a cider flight. There was one person working the bar but it was basic pours. The line stayed consistently busy. By time I got to the front ~15 min of waiting I was told they were out of the cups they needed for the flights so he told me he would flag me when they restocked them. I came back about 10 min later and they were restocking cups and the line was still consistently long. Never was flagged down and ended up waiting another 10 or so minutes in line. When I got to the front they were having issues with the payment system. Just wasn't my luck. I did end up getting my flight, 4 ciders, pretty good but I'm generally over the experience. I also got a cider float w/ a donut. I guess because they were so busy despite the menu saying one thing (that you can choose the cider flavor) they used a basic cider for all of them. It was decent. Overall not a place I would I'd want to adventure that far out for.
