Recently the rates have almost doubled! This is the second increase I've endured. The first was moderate and reasonable in February 2020. NOW when we are all struggling, they raised the rates again! This time almost doubling my original fee. I am sure they had government support to get them through the pandemic, however regular workers did not. I did not. And now that we are all trying to get back on our feet, this company is feeding its greed. They are losing clients quickly, and this is sorely deserved. A cluster...... from the very beginning. After being told the price was $60 once I scheduled the appt, the price jumped to $160. After several conversations, I was being issued a $60 credit. Worst part was incompetent general manager Kayla. After dropping the car off at 8am today, I waited and called back twice to check the status. Apparently the "hitch expert" was late to work. Called several times past noon - no answer. Called national Uhaul line and they responded by doing an inner office message to KAYLA She was a piece of work; could have solved the no hitch deal early but allowed an employee to set up our appt anyway and when I tried to complain about screwing up half a work day with my car on their lot, she just continued to talk over me to the point where I had to yell ( I'm italian) KAYLA never did allow me to finish a reasonable complaint about this whole experience. I'll never use this place again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Customer service and communication are foreign to this place!
