Over the course of these last 3 months in having to interact with the property manager over the telephone to be told that I as a customer was rude to staff which was not true as there are cameras on the premises which may or may not record sound and to see and continue to pay for storage at this establishment despite being cut off in verbal conversation or flat out LIED to or about is beyond what any normal customer would tolerate. The fact that I had to have someone else call after the manager left for information that she should have released do that business could be completed in a decent fashion is far beyond what it means to be CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED LET ALONE PROFESSIONAL OR FRIENDLY. It was off about 30 miles, not to my advantage. I did'nt catch it until I left the storage unit. I called as soon as I caught it on Saturday morning. I was told to take a picture of the speedometer and it will be corrected on Monday morning. When I called Monday morning to let the staff know, who was Tory, I was a little upset, but I did not cuss or raise my voice. She decided that I was an irate customer and she was not going to let me get in her space and she would not talk to me any further. She was explaining to me the policy about checking the truck out before I left to see if it was OK. I really did not have time to do that in the parking lot before I left. I told her I had calmed down, however, she still refused to talk to me and hung up on me. I called back and she let it go to another location, I have been at this facility for 12 years renting trucks and storage space, I have never had any trouble. Good Customer service is rare. At this point I am trying to find the regional or area manager to make a complaint. They did correct the problem, but there was no reason for her to hang up on me.

If I could this place 0 stars, I would. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with…read morethis moving company was bad enough that I feel obligated to share it. As a military family, we've worked with many moving companies over the years, and this was one of the worst experiences we've had. The packing was disorganized, items were packed carelessly, and several belongings were damaged during the move. Most upsetting was that the movers broke my baby's dresser, which doubles as her changing table, leaving us without a changing station. They attempted a quick repair with wood glue, but the piece remains damaged. We also discovered broken artwork that had not been properly wrapped or protected. The damage wasn't limited to our belongings. We moved into a brand-new home, and the movers left dents, drywall damage, scuffs, and markings on walls, stairways, and door frames. They also left cigarette butts, pop bottles, and other trash on the property. After the move, I contacted the company, provided photos, and completed the claim form they sent me. Since then, I have been completely ghosted. Despite the extent of the damage, no one has taken accountability, offered a meaningful resolution, or even apologized for breaking our belongings--including our baby's changing table. Mistakes happen. What separates a good company from a bad one is how they handle those mistakes. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and customer service after the fact has been just as disappointing as the move itself. I cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

The company was not even apologetic and actually very hostile. Since then, the company has refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation for the damage. On top of that, Christine O'Sullivan was extremely rude, unprofessional, and would not return any calls when I tried to resolve the issue. She only sends nasty emails. This was a terrible experience from start to finish, and I would strongly caution others against using this terrible company. Do not get fooled by this company like I did! Look at the before and after of my mother's table.

I have no idea how this place has stayed in business and honestly want to take them to small claims for how horrid the service was. I felt extremely ripped off and lied to.

This last week I had the fortune of getting a newer sectional couch from my neighbor. However, I am up in the years and no equipment to move it down one driveway and up another. I reached out to John, the owner, who still had my number saved and explained my small need but in a big way needed assistance. I would definitely recomment Personal Touch Movers, John and crew to anyone.

We tried to…read morecommunicate with John, the owner, but all he would say was that he has been in business for 34 years! I guess he thinks that makes him above making a mistake. Then his wife came to get paid and she was hostile and demanding. I told her we needed to discuss the fact that we had items missing and she pointed to 2 tall boxes and rudely said "you aren't unpacked" I replied that we had opened the boxes and replaced the items in the boxes and the silverware was not in either box. She demanded payment, I handed her the check and she stormed off shouting for us to never contact them and that she HOPED MY DOG GOT SICK! They packed the rooms that have items missing, a huge set of good silver, a credit card that was just received and still in the envelope with things in our desk, a big three ring binder type check book as well as other contents in the desk. My tote bag that contained personal items, think purse, is also missing. Why would they even think I would want them to move that? When I mentioned it to the wife her rely was "if it was in the office and they were packing the office they had a right to move it." We had other issues with them, they used an excessive amount of paper, which made more boxes and then charged more than the contract. When I say excessive I mean 20 to 30 sheets of paper in the bottom of the box, 6 full size sheets per light bulb, multiple sheets on Tupperware, and 20 to 40 sheets on top of the items in each box. Every box items were wrapped in excess. The other issue is they did not put down runners the day they packed and my light colored carpet is filthy, it did not have black streaks on the edges of the steps and the back of each step where their feet hit it, overall the carpet is very dirty and it was not before they packed. They packed on Sept.15 and moved us the next day. All boxes have been opened and these items are not here. They will not return our calls or text. When all a man can say in response to our concerns is that he has been in business for 34 years I think he has more ego than knowledge. At least respond to your client who trusted you with their possessions.
