I can honestly say the result was better than expected. They fit so well and the job done at Judy's makes it the only shop I'll take alterations to in Tampa. I brought the dress in and just needed to get a few inches off the bottom and shorten the straps at the top. She gave me a 3 week turnaround. 3 weeks later I went to pick it up and it fit perfectly! Linnie, the owner, was at the shop the day I stopped by and when I requested that I get the pants by the following Thursday she informed me that she was taking a week's vacation with family and it would have to be the following week. I nicely shared with Linnie that we were leaving on a vacation to Europe for 18 days and asked if there was any way I could get them before she took her week off. She very kindly and graciously obliged and had the pants ready to go the next day. Having someone truly care about their customers and take pride in their work, their craft is so welcome these days. She's very personable and does take time to know her clients which is nice since she's an independent business woman. Because she's known my boyfriend for so long she's worked with him on financing if he cant pay the entire amount. She'll give an honest recommendation on whether she can fix a pair of jeans or if we should save money and get a new pair. She does not take credit card though--just cash but the prices are fairly reasonable and she'll tell you up front how much she'll charge. We've always been happy with her work. Once she repaired a plush dog house bed that we thought was beyond saving and she made it look better than when we first got it! She's altered a few of my dresses to make them smaller and fixed a huge number of my boyfriends jeans.
