The receptionist didn't even look up from her phone, she was on a FaceTime call, with the volume all the way up. That call also continued through the entire service, which was EXTREMELY disturbing. I stated I was there for a pedicure and she pointed and the seats and said "go there" I sit down and wait, a woman comes up and points to a chair, without saying a word. I mention to her one of my nails was cracked down the center and asked her to add a small dot of acrylic onto the crack. She then proceeds to add an entire tip and FULL acrylic base to my nail. The base color she chose was a dark purple shade and she layered it on at least 5 times. So now my nail was super thick and uneven. She then asked me how I wanted it shaped, and then asked me to tell her when it's good. Not even that, but I ended up having to walk her through the entire shaping process. As I'm sitting, the receptionist then comes up and asks for my card. My service isn't even complete yet and she's asking me for payment. I ask if this is the proper time and she just said "so card?" I hand her my card and she comes back with a receipt of $81. I got an essential pedicure which is $35 and the set of gel which adds $20. Which would ultimately take my total to $55. Not $81. My nail tech was on her phone the entire time and could not communicate well with me, so that's how I ended up in this situation. The next day I called the salon and their solution was to offer me 15% off of my next visit. I asked MULTIPLE times for a full refund and they refused. I then stated I would not be returning, and the manager told me, "I am not going to argue with you, I gave you the discount" Never go to this establishment. They are rude and unprofessional.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but our recent experience at the Desert Ridge location was incredibly disappointing. We've actually used this stylist before and made this appointment specifically to see her, thinking we'd be in good hands. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I brought my two children (ages 12 and 10) in for basic haircuts, and from the moment we arrived, she was rude and impatient. She acted irritated by even the simplest questions and made my kids feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. At one point, she said, "I have another client after you, so you need to make a decision," which felt rushed and dismissive. We had booked the appointment in advance specifically with her, so it was incredibly frustrating to be treated like an inconvenience. The haircuts themselves were poorly done -- uneven, choppy, and clearly rushed. My kids left feeling embarrassed, and I had to take them somewhere else the very next day to have the cuts corrected. There's simply no excuse for this kind of treatment, especially toward children. We won't be coming back to the Desert Ridge location, and I wouldn't recommend this stylist to anyone. read more

For years I've always had a hard time finding a good barber, until I met Mari. I heard of Keep it cut from friends who always talked about getting a membership that offers unlimited hair cuts at a good price. I liked the idea of this but the real question for me was, is there a barber that can cut my hair the way I like it? As soon as I walked into this location Mari was very welcoming and friendly but when she cut my hair I was honestly impressed. I finally found a good barber who cuts my hair the way I like and she's always consistent. I love the Keep it cut app because it's fast, easy, but most importantly, lets me know if Mari is cutting hair that day and allows me to schedule an appointment specifically with her. Been going to this shop since it opened and I love it. Cool vibe with a fancy garage feel, old school hip hop music with some funk, and a fun energetic staff. Jen cut my hair last time, but I have seen a bunch of the staff and they all did a great job on my fade. Love the membership idea. One monthly fee for unlimited cuts. Just tip the stylist each time. Worst haircut I've ever had. The girl said she could take me as she had an appointment who was late... She then proceeded to rush through my haircut so fast that she only wet a quarter of my head and didn't even cut the top. I paid $70 for a haircut and beard service, and I genuinely feel like I wasted my money. The beard trim, which cost $30, lasted no more than two minutes and looked like almost no work had been done. The entire appointment felt rushed, careless, and completely lacking in attention to detail. I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality, professionalism, and customer experience justify it. Unfortunately, none of those were present here. Instead, I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and regretting my decision to give this place a chance. With how difficult the economy is today, customers deserve businesses that appreciate their support and take pride in their work. Based on my experience, this barbershop fell far short of that standard. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone, and I will not be returning.
