Lee absolutely killed it. This was hands down one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. This was my boyfriends favorite barbershop, he usually sees Sergio or Ruben who is usually AMAZING with him. Well he went again last week and decided to let someone new cut his hair bc why not it's his favorite barbershop right ? WRONG. He decided to let Erica cut his hair this time which he honestly never really does. Wanted to give someone new a chance. When he got home it looked great, but the next day there was HELLA razor burn on the back of his head. It's been a week now and it looks terrible and like he had this horrible rash. If you have kids please dont take them here. The girl that was cutting my sons hair wasnt very experienced. I asked her not to cut too much from the stop.. and guess what she does... she cut so much.. and it's so crooked. My son was moving (so I understand the back not being even.. but the front??!) because he was very itchy.. he had an allergic reaction to something while in the chair.. and I got something the bit me while trying to help him. I'm not sure what was going on. And I dont think the girl was too good at cutting hair..maybe shes new. Now I have to go somewhere else to get this fixed and pay again. If you give PV Barbers a bad review, you certainly have issues. I've been coming to pv barbers for almost two years. Javier is the man. Second seat on right. Hardly any wait most of the time. They have a lot of experienced barbers that do not take a day and year to cut your hair and they do a great job for $18. Took my kids in today to get their hair cut with some lines in the sides. They've never done it before, but I'm sure they'll want to do it again. I've been going to this place all the time but my recent couple of visits is causing me to hesitate to go back. Both visits that I mentioned was just for a Line Up (clean the edges only) for $10. In both instances, I clearly mentioned Line Up and NOT a full haircut (the first one was bec my hair wasnt long while the second one - today Jan 28 - was bec my barber was not working). However, I would be charged for more without first letting me know they'd do more than just a Line Up. The first one I was charged a full haircut ($25 which I ended up paying so i wont ruin my day) while today, I was charged $15 because the barber said he cut my hair further and not just cleaning up the edges. This time I complained that he should have asked me first if I'd agree. Though he changed it to $10, Im upset that this could have been a practice by the employees there. read more

Yesterday my fiance and I went here to get his haircut. I figured there would be a wait since it was half an hour to closing and it was a Friday evening. But I saw such great reviews on yelp and wanted to check it out, and maybe come back Saturday if they couldn't get us in. That being said when we walked into PV Barbers, it was packed. There was some people leaving and others waiting, and the barbers were busy. But I was not greeted or even said hello to by their "receptionist" (and I use that term very loosely) so after a few moments of standing around, I simply went up to her and asked if there was a long wait. Again no smile no polite response. She looked around at the people waiting and then back at us, and did a hand gesture; as to say "uh yeah". We decided to leave since we obviously weren't getting in that day, and honestly I will not go back to try again. I am just appalled at how rude PV Barber's "receptionist" was, she never said a word to us and looked at us with what I can only describe as disdain. Giving 2 star less because, had appointment at 1:30pm and I reached there 1:32pm, that guy was in-between someobe else haircut so I thought I'll be next but he said you are late and I kept waiting till 2:15 and finally "Nadia" did my best haircut I ever had. Love the haircuts but last time i went i got cut by one of the girls there and it was easily one of the worst haircuts i have gotten she doesn't know how to cut hair was looking at her phone the whole time she can't line up and it was so uneven the guys there are 100% legit but the girl sucked and she shouldn't be cutting hair and she should be fired read more

I've been to this barbershop twice when visiting Phoenix and have been VERY pleased each time with the hair craftsmanship of Sergio. He takes his time and makes sure your hair is EXACTLY how you want it. Can't speak to the quality of the other barbers here, but Sergio is top notch. read more

I have been taking my son Isaac to a kids place since he was born and would always have a melt down. I started coming here a few months ago and at first he had a small melt down but for over it quickly. The last few times we have come we see David and Issac just thinks he is so cool. I moved to PHX almost 4 years ago from Tucson. I had the same barber for 5 years in Tucson and he was amazing. I was left with finding a new barber here in PHX and was pretty scared because I am EXTREMELY picky with who cuts my fade and how it looks. Nydia has cut my hair for almost 4 years and she is nothing short of amazing. She takes her time and pays attention to the little things. She is also very kind and fun to talk to.
