Jesse just finished our home on Buckboard Lane, what service, it was amazing how fast we were up and running with our solar. I look into things, the installation, the wiring was top notch, everything was so clean. I would highly recommend Keegan Electric to anyone. Jesse is a very kind soul as well, easy to talk to and goes above and beyond. The whole crew rocked. read more

Per recommendation of one the neighbors, we used Keegan Electric for a series of small and large projects including: full electrical panel upgrade to 200 amp, installation of additional circuits to avoid constant fuse breaks, installation and wiring of a new circuit HVAC, installation of ceiling fans, mounting large flat TV ( with no wire show), installation and wiring for new floodlights and installation of ring doorbell. We can't be happier with the quality of work and fair price. Jesse is highly knowledgeable and professional. We selected him after talking to multiple electricians and getting multiple quotes. Not only his price was fair but his solutions and approach to do the work was much smarter than others. They left the area spotless after done. I certainly recommend Keegan Electric! read more

Keegan Electric Solar - Highly recommend Keegan Electrics for fair price and quality of work - Electricians Near Me - Santee, California

Jesse is awesome! I needed some outdoor outlets installed. Jesse did the work while I was at the office and I felt entirely comfortable having him do the work. I came back and found neat, tidy, perfect outlets on the house and no messes left behind. His prices are very reasonable and he's very easy to work with. Highly recommend! read more

Keegan Electric just finished a complex main service line upgrade, from the street transformer, and main panel replacement/upgrade. Additionally, a hot tub circuit with secondary breaker and power circuit to a barn. The project involved significant trenching and working with landscapers and concrete contractors. Jesse did a great job, we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended. read more

Super professional. We're the envy of our neighbors. Cleanest install, punctual, easy to get a hold of. Extremely knowledgeable. Very personable. Does not subcontract. Does the work himself. So glad I heard his ad on my favorite radio station. Husband is very pleased with the quality of his work. And, no piping running across the roof. Needless to say, we're very happy we went with Keegan Electric Solar!!! read more

Hi, I am in the process of getting a new HVAC system installed in my home and the HVAC company recommend Keegan Electric. After getting 4 quotes, Keegan Electric was the most reasonable of all the quotes. I have read the Yelp and reviews and decided to use Keegan Electric. Jesse is the owner and he did a fantastic job, he delivered everything as promised, the workmanship was excellent and the job site was spotless when they finished. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend using Keegan electric and I believe my neighbor is considering using them. Tim L read more

So far we've just done some estimates but he fixed something another contractor broke on my electric panel for free and spent a bunch of time with me going over possible solutions to our electric issues. We're in need of some expensive upgrades and he was very patient going over all the possibilities and giving us some good recommendations. read more

Added solar to San Diego home. Very professional and efficient service. Upgraded panel. Clean installation. Making more juice than using. Yeah! Bad news: Edison still charging some $ of course. read more

Through the years, Jesse Keegan of Keegan Electric has completed various electrical projects on my home in Escondido, Ca. He has installed recessed lighting, run electrical for outdoor lighting and as of October 2015, installed a 21 microinverter solar power system using LG panels and Enphase micro-inverters. Jesse provided an overview of the entire process, including timing and kept us informed the entire way. When he had to get into the walls to run some wiring for the solar, also correcting some mistakes made by others in the past, he made nice clean drywall cuts. Jesse (Keegan Electric) is always professional and clean, before, during & after their work is completed. It's really nice to have someone who is organized and professional working on your home. We will be using his services in the future, which will probably be more outdoor lighting, and additional electrical runs into the garage for an electric car charging station. We highly recommend Jesse for all of your electrical needs. Semper Fi! read more

Super stoked just got our new LG 360 panels up with emphasis inverters! It's only took 2 weeks which was super fast! Some of the big companies have a 2 month waiting list for installation! The price was really competitive as well. I never really write good reviews but he was cool and I am happy with the service. read more

Upgraded my 100amp panel to 200amp and ran 50amp wires for a new subpane on my guest house. Fair price compared to other bids, easy to work with. We actually never met in person but we talked on the phone while he was at my house and I did meet his apprentice. He took care of the SDGE communication and permits with the city. Everything went smooth and I was very happy with the service. read more

It was about four or five months ago that I made my definitive decision to go solar. I'm not some big environmentalist and, quite frankly, I was quite skeptical about the whole deal-- but we have a hot tub and the expense of heating the dang thing was just plain killing us. So, rather than responding to the millions of calls and advertisements we seem to get for solar I decided I would be the one to contact various companies. I had heard Jesse Keegan's advertisements on the radio and decided he would be one of the many contractors I would contact. I was already prepared to let each company I spoke with know that I was going to obtain many, many quotes and would get back to them if they provided the best value. It so happens the first call I made was to Keegan-- and, as is his style I spoke directly to Jesse. I scheduled an appointment and a few days later I welcomed the Keegan representative into my home.... it was Jesse. (Are you starting to see a pattern here?) As I spoke to Jesse I realized a few things about him-- 1) he knows what he is talking about, 2) he is super straightforward, low-key and low-pressure and 3) he is as honest as they come. It didn't take me long to decide this was a person I wanted to do business with! So, after determining I would speak to at least six or eight companies before making any decisions I decided to go with Keegan-- the first and only company to which I spoke. A few weeks later, about the time he said things would start to happen, things started to happen. First my service needed to be upgraded. This job was done by.... Jesse (although he did actually have another guy with him). Most of the time from signing up with Keegan to having solar installed was waiting on the electric company and their various inspections. When they said okay, the panels were installed on the roof in about a day and half. Then, after some more waiting on the electric company, the panels were activated. I have a son and a son-in-law who live out of state and have had solar panels installed. I would frequently ask whether or not they had saved money and neither one could say for sure. My son said "it took so long from signing to activation" that he'd forgotten everything he ever learned about solar panels by then. Not so with my Keegan experience! First of all Keegan provides a ten-year warranty. The manufacturer provides an additional fifteen years after that. So, basically, my panels will be operating at 95% efficiency 25 years from now (when I'll have been in Heaven for quite some time). I've got a nice app on my phone that lets me monitor my panels' production 24 hours a day. And I'm absolutely sure there are other solar companies that could provide the same products. BUT, there are two things I can tell you about my system-- last month my electric bill was $12-- and we haven't even gotten to the sunny months yet! The second thing I can tell you is that if, God forbid, I have a problem with my solar panel system I can call the company that installed it and talk to the owner, sales rep, system designer and installer himself. If you are in the shoes I was in a few months ago, the smartest thing you can do is call Jesse Keegan today. read more

Jesse Keegan installed our solar. He worked in 100 degrees weather and manage to finish in 4 days. Really a nice guy with quality panels and skills read more

Keegan Electric made the solar experience seamless. I investigated the process with four different contractors. Jessie was the most accurate: calculating your energy needs, most timely: showing up for appointments and returning phone calls/emails, and most affordable. Jessie is an affable and patient man. He realizes solar systems are expensive and confusing yet he is willing to answer all your questions. Keegan's installation of the entire system was the highest quality and consideration: I don't like exposed wires so Jessie ran the wires behind the walls. Jessie's expertise realized the conduit currently in use was not the sufficient size so he replaced it all at a very reasonable price. Keegan was time considerate of me: scheduling the entire process was at my convenience. Keegan's crew was polite and tidy: they cleaned up each day and never imposed on the household routine. I've worked with many contractors over the years and Keegan Electric Solar Inc. is the top-notch watershed. Stop looking and call Keegan Electric Solar Inc. read more

We had no idea where to begin when we needed to upgrade our electrical panel, and fortunately our neighbor referred us to Jesse. He is responsive, on time, super polite, and does great work. He knows everyone at SDG&E so the process for installation was seamless. He was very easy to work with, and even provided us with an itemized invoice for all the work we had him do. His prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be calling Jesse should we have any other electrical needs! read more

Jesse Keegan and his employees at Keegan Electric are dependable, professional, honest, and do high quality installations. They're flexible, care for your needs, and do not try to oversell you in any way. You can trust that they will be on time, give you personable service, and get you up-and-running (with whatever your electric needs) with no hassles. After researching thoroughly and getting several quotes on both an electric panel and solar install, we are very pleased we chose Keegan Electric. Jesse Keegan recently installed a 6 KW solar system using LG panels and Enphase micro-inverters and am very pleased with both the speed of completion of the project and the quality of the installation. Jesse is professional, courteous, on-time, reliable, provides frequent status updates and pays meticulous attention to details on the job. His support team for roofing, stucco and drywall repairs are all excellent. He is one of few solar contractors with special expertise in micro-inverter systems that offer some advantages over traditional single-inverter systems. His rates are very reasonable. I elected to have an electrical panel upgrade done in conjunction with the solar system installation. This provides better resale value for a homeowner than purchasing the alternative RMA device to interface with an older panel and this upgrade also qualifies for the 30% federal tax solar credit. My new panel is state of the art and specifically designed to work with solar systems. I have significant contracting experience thru prior remodeling projects and also have an electrical engineering degree. I never planned to interview 6 solar companies before deciding on Keegan Electric. However, I found that in each case prior to meeting Jesse, my contact was limited to salesmen that came to bid on the job who had an inadequate knowledge about the solar systems themselves, presented unrealistic return on investment analysis, had a lack of practical experience in assessing the whether the roof needed any work in preparation to installing the solar system, or inexperience with incorporating an electrical panel upgrade into the solar project. Since they were sales representatives or general contractors rather than installers, they could not supply many details about how the project would proceed, what materials would be used or what the final cost would be. They could really only guarantee the bid for the solar system itself. I didn't feel comfortable signing sign a contract not having answers to my questions. One by one, the various solar contractors failed to follow-up with satisfactory answers. Jesse, in contrast, was a hands-on installer and electrician with extensive experience. All of my questions were answered, and not just with "an answer", but with the correct answer, as I already knew the answer to some of these questions. Jesse passed "the grilling" with flying colors and I felt very assured to be dealing directly with an experienced installer rather than a middleman in marketing and sales that I will never see again once the contract is signed. He also accommodated my desire to beat the deadline before the less favorable Net Metering II rules start later this summer. Detailed plans were drawn and all permits for the panel upgrade and solar system were obtained in only 1 week. Installation was performed 2 weeks later and took 1.5 days to complete, with the exception of some final stucco patching to be done around the new electrical panel. My home was left spotless after both work days. Working with contractors is not often something homeowners describe as a "pleasurable" experience. However, in this case I can say it was a real pleasure working with Jesse and his crew on this project and I look forward to working with him again in the future. read more

Jesse was very helpful and very friendly, clearly and efficiently managed the project from start to finished. He interfaced with SDG&E, and played well with the neighbors. Definitely on my short list of service providers to work with in the future. For reference, the job was quite extensive - upgrading the service from the street, upgrading the service box, and installing a high amperage line to the garage for the new electric vehicle. read more

My wife and I couldn't be happier with Keegan Electric! We had him install two bathroom fans. The fans he recommended are awesome - I didn't know fans could be this quiet and work this well. The price and service was incredible. Being new homeowners we feel quite fortunate to have found such an awesome electrician. Reading through all the other reviews, I wholeheartedly agree with every word - 5 stars, as good as it gets!! read more

We were extremely happy that we chose Keegan Electric to install solar panels on our house. Jesse was knowledgable, professional, neat, and efficient in our installation. For those that are looking for an electrician to help with you power needs, I would look no further. I have been using Jesse for over 3 years, on several home renovation projects (interior: full electrical makeover (new power boxes, decorative can lights on dimmers, bath room lighting and vent fans) and have had nothing but positive experiences. Recently, I had Keegan Electric run electrical for spa and outdoor lighting. Having to work with many contractors over the years, I am relieved that there is only one company to call for my electrical needs. Jesse and Keegan Electric will delivery top quality service at a very competitive price. He will address you concerns and offer options for possible solution for your project needs. They are clean, fast fun & friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Jesse and Keegan Electric for all that you do. read more

I found Jesse on Yelp, based on the numerous glowing reviews. He is scheduled for 8:30, and amazingly my door bell range at 8:30:00. My first impression is that he is polite, clean-cut, and projects an air of competent. He installed an outdoor 12V outlet with GFI Grounding for me, in less than 45 minutes. I also had a small kitchen issue that needed to be look up. Jesse took care of that as well. The entire service call is a fraction of what I had received from other electricians. Most of all, he is polite, well-mannered, and went about doing his job with precision and speed. In this day and age where mediocrity is expected, Jesse is an outstanding electrician, and an even more of a gentlemen. I cannot begin to voice my recommendation for his services. I am so glad I found Jesse on Yelp and will definitely call on him for future projects. Thank you Jesse. read more

Brought Jesse back to install 220VAC for my new Hot Tub. Another great job completed on time and per his quote!

Called Keegan because I lost power in part of my home. Jesse answered the phone and was at my place in an hour. It took him less than an hour to identify the problem and he quickly fixed it on the spot. He was also kind enough to explain the problem to me and how to fix it. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, fast and his rates are very reasonable. I will continue to use Jesse and highly recommend him to others! read more

Jesse was recommended to me by Air Plus heating and Air to install a subpanel for an AC unit. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work that was done. Had a really bad experience with Jesse Keegan. After the work was done we tried to call him and text him. No response. City inspectors would not certify the work done by Keegan. After I explained the issue, Keegan seemed to not understand the regulations and refused to make it right. Not a good situation, would not recommend. read more

This owner is so unresponsibile. We had an appointment set up, and just didn't show up and without telling us. We tried to call him, text him. No response. If you are not coming, at least let me know so I can call other people to come during that time. He is wasting our time. Also, we have asked him to send us the quote ahead of time, and he did promise us to send us an estimate. But we never never received the estimate or the quote from him. He is a such unresponsible person. I don't recommend anyone to choose this dealer. Think about it. The solar system will be have a 25 year warranty. If his attitude is like this, how can you trust him to maintain your system for the next 25 years. If there is a problem happen in the future, he will not take care of it because you can not find this guy by any ways. read more

I called Jesse to get a quote on some recessed lighting. He came out and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was very professional, informative and kind. He got the quote ready for me exactly when he said he would. We scheduled the installation and again, he arrived exactly when he said he would. I ran out for a few hours and he was already done when I got back! Everything was patched and cleaned up. He did such an amazing job, I just couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Jesse, he totally rocks! Professional, exceptional quality of work and he's just the nicest guy. I will have him do the rest of the lights in the house. read more

Found Keegan via Yelp, and I am happy that I did! Jesse Keegan did a great job, ran a 20A line for our new spa from the breaker under the house, inside the wall, and popped it out right where we want it. I called Jesse to come out and give us a quote on changing all electrical outlets, switches, bathroom fans, a light fixture, and to troubleshoot why our master bathroom had no power. He was very professional on the phone, as well as in person. After going through the house and taking note of everything, he emailed a quote right away. His price was great! He was one of four electricians that I called to give us an estimate and he beat them in price and expertise. I scheduled him to do the work and it was done on time and for the exact amount he quoted, even though he fixed a few extra little "things" that needed attention. We are more than pleased with the work! Jesse Keegan is highly recommended by this family! I also have to share that on the day Jesse came out to give us an estimate, my 3 year old asked him to fix her star light above her bed. I asked Jesse to add it to the list of work we needed done. Immediately, without hesitating, he put down his clipboard, went to his truck, came back with the proper tool and fixed my daughters light on the spot with no charge! He didn't even know if we were going to choose him and he took the time to fix it! What a stand up guy. Thanks Jesse, my daughter still talks about how the "electrician fixed her star!" read more

I found Keegan by driving behind them on the freeway! The service was phenomenal. He was very prompt, straight to the point and knowledgeable of what my property needed. Not to mention I didn't have to hunt him down for quotes like 5 other electricians that were also contacted. He did the job I needed very professionally. I was so happy with his service that I contracted him to help out a client of mine. He showed the utmost respect and professionalism that he made me look good. I am a very satisfied customer and will use and recommend Keegan Electric for any electric jobs I have in the future! read more

I was looking to upgrade my 125Amp electric service from an old Zinsco panel to a new Square D panel. I received several quotes from local electricians. All were roughly around the same price. However, Jesse Keegan was definitely the electrician that wanted to help get our panel replaced and work with us. SDGE recently changed their standards and the location for our replacement electrical panel would need to be changed over a foot from it's existing location. My wife and I did not want to have to trench and replace conduit for a new location. Jesse worked with us and SDGE to plan a new location that we could work with without trenching and still meet 2017 code. Jesse made at least 4 visits to my house prior to install to talk with my wife, me and our carpenter who would be doing some additional framing prior to the panel installation. If it weren't for Jesse's patience, professionalism, and expertise this job would not have gotten done. Jesse and his crew's work is impeccable. He is on time, reasonably priced, and goes above and beyond to get the job done right. Keegan Electric is also a solar installer and we are looking into adding it to our home with Jesse. We will definitely be using and recommending Keegan Electric in the future! Unlike some other electrical companies in San Diego he is here to help solve your problem and complete your project as soon as possible. read more

One night I lost power to half my house. I tried the breaker box and noticed the main breaker was not resetting properly. I don't like messing with AC, so I found Keegan Electric. Jesse came out to my house after I got off work the next day. I have an older house and the breakers don't seem like the modern standard. He just happened to have one on him. An exact fit. He said he normally doesn't carry this type, but he just happened to have this one in his truck. I had power back on and I was happy.
