I have lived in Amsterdam for over 12 years and in that time eaten in every kind of restaurant, bakery, shack, stand, and hole in the wall you can possibly imagine. Many of those fine establishments have been pizzerias. Some have been memorable and yummy. But none, I say none, has even come close to the fantabulous quality of pizza that you can find at Kebec.
Tucked away beyond the container housing and the trendy fancy restaurants of the increasingly popular NDSM area of Amsterdam North, Kebec doesn't try too hard or pretend to be anything more than it is: a warm welcoming little parlor with the kindest proprietor you will ever meet serving you warm, scrumptious pizzas from a brick oven that this talented man built himself based on a traditional Quebecois design.
Love italian sausage and other meaty pizzas, you'll be happy at Kebec. Prefer a wide selection of vegetable only pizzas, they've got plenty of that too. A salad or a sandwich instead, no problemo. As a bonus, if you're into real coffee, get yourself over to Kebec for a pizza and some java. I guaruntee you will leave happy and high on good food. read more
