Excellent customer service and yummy food! The butter chicken with basmati rice didn't disappoint. The garlic naan was so good. My daughter had the chicken tikka masala and cheese naan. It was delish too. We both had enough for leftovers! Their sweet tea is probably one of the best teas I've ever had. Our server said they brew it fresh each day with mint and cardamom. We spied a few other things on the menu we'd like to try, so we will definitely be back when we're in Norman. read more

This is a new and small restaurant that just opened after the pandemic has closed so many restaurants in Norman Oklahoma. THERE WAS A ITALIAN RESTAURANT in this site before they moved elsewhere The inside of the restaurant is great with nice soothing music and nice and comfortable chairs..and no televisions on the wall..like a restaurant should and the dark wall makes a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy the food...the service was very good and seated us very quickly...but I am fearing that if I give my opinions on this restaurant it may just be the best restaurant in Norman. Oklahoma and become hard to get in or make reservations. Anyway the truth needs to come out..we has as appetizers an order od samosas..the samosas were fantastic..the shell was a true pantry not thick and flat..it was crisp and hot and the sauce that accompanied was great tasting and the filling was just absolutely awesome I was going to order a second helping but decided maybe after the main course..oh well never got around to it..the main course came out ..the presentation was excellent with Naan rice and lamb chops which were tandoori cooked I think..they were cooked superbly their taste was awesome..juicy not dry or overly cooked and spicy but not hot like jalapeño hot how do you spell or describe delicious you just cannot but they were it was served with yogurt but I do not like yogurt with my meals even though it traditionally served in Indian or Pakistani restaurants The only thing that was missing was wine.or cocktail or beer they didn't have any available..and there was no desserts. However I would have to say I didn't miss them because the meal was awesome. The bill came and they have you deal with it at the table just like in Europe or bigger cities..your credit card stays with you..Anyway the bill was very nice not expensive at all..more like low..but with no cocktails and dessert..you get a great meal with a nice ambience and a quiet place to eat I would highly recommend this restaurant and say you better hurry and go there soon before everyone finds out and you won't be able to get in lol read more

This was a pretty good place to eat with really good customer service. The only thing was that the food was pretty average. The flavor was good but nothing out of the extraordinary. I ordered the Butter Chicken curry and the Mutton Karahi. Both dishes had a lot of spices and came with a large bowl of rice. I just want to say thank you to everyone else that left a review- you were all right. The food is delicious to say the least! My husband and I ordered 3 entrees to try different things, 2 sides of garlic naan, and had chai masala after dinner. Not a single bite was anything less than impressive. The mutton was incredibly tender and flavorful, but not at all spicy. The chicken biryani is great- and something even the most sensitive pallet could enjoy. The chili chicken is just the right amount of heat. It definitely wakes you up. Everything is very fresh and made to order by the owner/cook/waiter/busser/dishwasher/cashier. Be prepared to wait for your food. All good things take time, and this is no exception! These guys are super passionate about what they do, and it shows in the food and their smiles. Looking forward to trying the other fillings. The Butter Chicken was an expertly prepared dish, it was creamy, and delicious and you had the option of spice level. My husband order the mutton biryani and was pleased with the spice level, portion size & flavor. We found that the meat was locally sourced and that the dishes are prepared fresh to order. The cucumber salad was crunchy & bright and I could have consumed a cup! We chose the keema naan as a different option and it stands on its own. We will return to explore the menu. They were open for dine-in. Thanks! I ordered the Aloo Samosa Plate which came with two fried pastry shells that were nice a crisp and flaky stuffed with herbs and potatoes. I was way more filling than I have had at other places. Served with mint chutney. I then ordered the Beef Seekh Kebab. The kebab was made out of ground beef blended with spices, and grilled then served on a sizzling plate like fajitas. It was a bit dry but had great flavor. I would order it again but ask to have it prepared at a medium doneness. Then I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of rice and plain naan bread. The Tikka Masala was very good. I like mine a little more on the sweet side. This one was packed with flavor. If you are not a fan of spicy, make sure you let them know, they can make it as mild or spicy as you like. My only critique is that I wish there was a few more chunks of chicken. The naan was baked just like it should be. They opened at the beginning of the year, so things have really slowed down for them. We need to keep all of these places in business. We were there for dinner, and rather than upselling us for more money he suggested not and enjoying our dinner. I appreciate the honesty over money grabbing. To start, as we walked in we were immediately greeted and given menus. No wait! As my mother and I were looking at the menu, we noticed how wonderful the environment was. The music was peaceful, the lighting was dark in a calming way, but not too dark. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and we didn't have to wait long before receiving our meal. And WOW! As I'm writing this, it's my second time to come here with my girlfriend and the food is heaven. The strawberry lassi is tasty, they have a non-alcoholic beverage that is epic too. I'm Filipina but brought two friends to Kebabish Bites, feeling a bit funny about doing so since they're Pakistani visiting from Pakistan. One of them was born and grew up in London, lived in India, now lives in Pakistan; and a bona fide foodie as he had been a chef at a restaurant before. I've always LOVED the food here but, not being South Asian, I don't have the culinary authority to speak to its authenticity. My two guests absolutely loved it. They spoke to how the food served was truly akin to how grandmothers cook them! How one of the dishes must have been cooked and lovingly tended to for hours. Everything--from the main courses to the rice and the chutney and the dessert--was delicious! And if you should be so lucky as to have your table visited by Chef Waseem, you're in for a treat as he is warm, friendly, and funny. How he jokes around with the servers (who are also always warm and friendly) also a testament to his approach to his family business. You have food that would evoke memories of grandma's cooking but you'd also suddenly find someone you just met you're ready to call Brother! Maraming salamat sa laging napakasarap na pagkain! Very laid back, excellent service and hospitality, food was very colorful and beyond expectation. The tea alone is worth checking out. Highly recommend and was thoroughly surprised it wasn't packed, prices for what you get surpassed anything in the area since ole town gyros sold out to college kids (out of business). All and all a must try and if your unsure on what to get the servers are extremely nice and will help with the information given (worked on my wife). We love Sheesh Mahal up in the city and now we have Ind/Pak food in Norman that is just as good! Prices are low/moderate, food is very fresh and the service for us was fine, although I know others that need more "touches." The Masala rice was flavorful and a touch spicy. The Butter Chicken was flavorful, balanced spices and not greasy. The Chicken Tandori was flavorful, moist, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tikka Boti roll was delicious. Chicken was tender and moist, dressing was great. Complimentary mint tea at the end was a terrific ending. We will be back. Excellent food and friendly staff. You'll still have to wait a little taking the drive thru but it's still there if you don't wanna dress up and get out of the car. I ordered tikka masala at a different Indian place in Norman and they tried to pawn off Makhani chicken as the same thing. I really appreciate that this place has the real deal, and it's plenty flavorful. The meat was a little tough but I came late too. I found a little piece of cinnamon floating in it, which reminded me of my favorite home-cooked Indian meals. They really don't skimp on any spices here. If you like tart, custard-y flavors try the lassi as well, the amount of dahi is just perfect. Overall the prices and portions are fantastic, especially for the quality and speediness. read more

Perfect for vegetarians (albeit not vegans due to the addition of ghee), this homespun spiced lentil dish always manages to make me happy. (And let's face it -- I'm kind of a curmudgeon by nature.) The chicken samosas are always perfectly well seasoned and filled, not too greasy, and still a ton of flavor. I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant any more, I love the employees and owners, but their food has changed drastically. It makes me sick everytime I go now, and is way too heavy. Compared to how they used to make their food, all I get now is a vat of oil with a few ingredients. The chaana masala is inedible now due to how oily it is and the aloo Palak has no spinach pieces in sight and had two small chunks of potato. I'm very saddened since I loved this place but I won't be returning until they lessen the amount of oil they use by a great margin. read more
