I enjoyed coming across this little hole in the wall place where an Italian restaurant used to be (more on that later). It's oddly named, and I think they could really benefit from some better marketing and advertising. Had the Chicken Tikka Masala with some Chili Garlic Naan, and overall it was good! I read the reviews saying the the spice levels were low for how they're described: that was not my experience. The medium tasted like medium (maybe medium low). The chicken was good, the sauce was a little tomato heavy I felt like but still plenty good, and a solid portion size for one person. It came with rice, and felt like a good value for the price. The rice was okay, a little underwhelming as I have had much better jasmine rice. This felt like just basic long grain white rice, a little clumpy. Chili Garlic Naan had good flavor, but was a bit dryer than I am used to for naan; it was more like a cracker. Still a great side item, but be aware. Service was very pleasant and attentive. Okay, I mentioned the former Italian restaurant. Inside it still looks exactly the same, with paintings of Italy, New York, etc all around, big utensils on the walls, etc. It is a nice looking restaurant, but nothing about it says Indian culture or "Paradise". If you are nearby and want satisfying Indian food I can recommend this place with no qualms. It isn't my favorite in the city but it's yummy and I hope they do well. read more

The service was wonderful and they took great care of our very large table of seven. I didn't expect the nice and quiet interior based on a strip mall location. It's huge inside but was quite which is important for our table which includes hearing impaired guests. I don't have many pictures, they just didn't turn out. Our server was patient and helped describe all the various dishes. Three of us had the tandoori chicken with bones. I thought it might be spicy but it was really delicious. One person had the boneless tandoori chicken. This is the one I'd recommend and I actually think it would be a great appetizer. One guest had the lamb curry which was fantastic and not at all spicy. That was a pleasant surprise and the meat was very tender. My husband got the chicken biryani. It was my favorite taste of the night and is undoubtedly what I'll order next time. It had the most heat of any dish I tasted even though he ordered it at a zero spice level. The food came out sizzling hot, I think you can see that in the pictures. The blurry image is due to smoke and steam from the food. The dishes are freshly made to order so don't expect them to be delivered in five minutes. It's a casual dining experience at a slower pace. I tried the biryanis, tandoori chicken(kebab), potato dosa, Indian drink: thums up, all new experience and everything tastes quite good. Food was a 4/5. Service was a 2.5/5. The place is nice enough for a date night. I showed up wanting a dosa at lunch and was informed that was only available for dinner. I'd rate this place lower except I can understand why a small business owner that makes their food from scratch on order does not have the ingredients ready to go for Dosa at lunch. Unfortunately my party was the only people there at peak lunch time. This may be the best India food in Edmond so if you want authentic food in your town you should make an effort to support them. I will go back looking for a 5 star experience. When someone runs out of a drink, you have to refill the drink within a few minutes. If you don't, it's a 4 star even if the food is good. My party had to wait 15-20 minutes for a refill on water. This is not acceptable but is easily fixed. read more

Great food! We've ordered at work to eat family style and shockingly flavors were great and everything had its own distinct flavor. We got different naans, parathis, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and palak paneer. All tasty! Packaged well, but serving is on the smaller size. I ate lunch last Friday at this South Indian restaurant (the only one in the city) with my friend and my daughter. They weren't very busy and it took a minute for them to seat us. Our server was attentive and asked if we needed any items explained. He was knowledgeable about spice levels and ingredients. My daughter really enjoyed the Butter Chicken, a nice lunch portion, and my friend ate every bit of her Tandoori Chicken, which had a very good flavor and very tender. My Paradise Special Chicken Biryani Boneless was a HUGE portion (enough for four meals), and very spicy (as he warned me). They have MANY different Naan Breads to choose from; we chose Cheese Garlic and it was very enjoyable (four triangles per order). Awesome food! I'm a foodie and picky, so was not optimistic, but the restaurant is close to home. Boy was I wrong! For folks who like milder food, the dosa (it's essentially an 18 inch long filled crepe-type dish) or the biryani (this one features a complex medley of subtle spices) are great choices. The butter chicken, even in its milder rendition, carries a bit of heat, as does the tandoori. As we are a family with differing "heat" desires, our selections were guided by the hostess, who was informative and willing to take the time to explain the dishes to our Northern European descendent crew. They even have Americanized kiddie dishes if your child is adamant that their palate is not expanding on this rendition without a fight that I wasn't up for today (guessing they kept the pizza oven) All in all, great food amazing experience. read more
