A foodie must explore, indulge, appreciate and approach every meal as it is my last. I am on a project in Tallahassee, Florida and wouldn't you know it. Right next to the Sunoco and my hotel the Hampton Inn and Suite is Kebabas. The owner is super kind and conscientious of everyone he cooks for and serves. Brest hospitality, awesome outdoorsy place to eat and the food is to die for. I had the steak kebabs with rice and veggies and a side order of Hummus. So so good. Remember to eat at your local eateries so we both don't starve...

The best food truck and lamb gyro wrap in Tallahassee! Top quality ingredients: I loved everything from the meat to bell papers in it, pita and the tzatziki and garlic sauces he included ! Friendly service! Ambiance: it is a food truck located on the side of gas station with few benches/tables on the side. I got it to go though. Strongly recommend!

This food truck did not disappoint (other than giving me fries instead of the rice I ordered). The service was quick. The young men working were at the food truck were pleasant and helpful when it came to deciding what to order. I love the fact that you can mix kebab meats, which allows you to try many varieties they offer. The food was delicious and a great serving size for the price. My steak was tender and the tzatziki sauce tasted homemade...yummy! Not ideal for "dining in" as it's located at sketchy gas station but an ideal spot for good food with great service. It's a thumbs up for me!

Food is absolutely Delicious!!! Great service as well, the owner is so Nice. He fried the chicken pieces like chicken nuggets for our little one. Portions are large for the price and will fill you up! We will definitely be back whenever we're in Tally

Another unhappy ending. I really wanted to like it, the food smelled amazing and was reasonably priced. You walk up to the truck on the side of the gas station and place the order and it comes out pretty quickly. The owner was very nice. Should've known it was too good to be true. Before even taking a bite in my kofta kebab I see something sticking straight out of it, pull it out of the meat and it's a metal shard maybe from the brush to clean the grill. Unfortunately I did not get to try the food as I was scared to consume something that could harm me. That could have easily sliced my throat or perforated any part of my digestive system. Please be more mindful of safe food practices to avoid something like this in the future.

Absolutely fantastic. So flavorful, and it filled me up. If I lived in Tally, this would easily be one of my go-tos. Thanks guys!

This Kafka beef was so delicious and well seasoned. It is truly enough for two people -at least two women. It is $9. The yellow rice was really tasty as well. The yogurt sauce is not typical to what I have had before. It is thin and has dill. It is delicious but I need feta chunks. My sister is a Greek food snob and thought her chicken pita was average. The pita is thin, tender and tasty. However, since it is a food truck next to a sketchy mini mart and homeless people are walking all around and just sitting down smoking where the outdoor seating area is for the food truck. In the future I would just get it and leave.

Great filling meal! Food is super fresh and hot off the grill. Lamb is only served on certain days I believe Friday and Saturday's? You can ask for hot sauce on the side too. The guys working the truck are very hospitable, it's right near the FSU law school I would be coming back for sure!

Kebabs is a great place to get Mediterranean food. The pricing is more than reasonable and the serving size is HUGE. The food is high quality and you can definitely taste the freshness in the ingredients The owner is a very cool guy. My favorite thing on the menu is the steak kebab. I always get a side of fries along with my meal because they season the fries perfectly (better than zaxbys fries). Moody's was my go to place for authentic Mediterranean food. But, since they closed for good - kebabs is officially the best place to get Mediterranean food in Tallahassee. Love this place! - Ansel Ponce Diama

I came back. This time I ordered their fish sandwich, which is new on the menu. It had a nice aïoli…read moresauce and the fish was generous. As a side, I ordered the potatoes which I thought would be more like Greek potatoes and the plate came with potato chips. The fish was good, but I probably would not order it again. They've earned another star because the waitress was friendlier and the sandwich was OK. So, I tried this again after my last dismal review. They have a special of a grilled chicken sandwich so I ordered that. The order came with potato chips and I had a side of their grilled potatoes. I am so sad that this review is not as good as my last one. The employee at the register was anxious to take my order and did not listen when I had questions. I finally had to say that I have questions because all the heard was "beef". What I wanted to know is if I could get the gyro disassembled. I prefer to eat the meat and pita separately because I just don't eat that much bread. She asked someone who assured me that this could be done. (If it couldn't, I would have been perfectly happy going next door. It was delivered completely assembled and the person just walked off without a word. I don't know why but this saddened me. So, I started to eat it as it was and the meat had gristle through it- and I don't mean in just 4-5 pieces. I'm not sure how you quality control that unless you actually cut the meat yourself. I felt a bit let down because I had tipped well before the food was delivered. The restroom was clean and I appreciate that. There was no salt and pepper on the table but the delivery person (same as cashier) didn't ask if I needed anything. I don't know if I will be back.

We parked in the parking lot and entered the restaurant to order food bowls and wraps. We chose from several bowl options, including the Chicken Wrap, Kebab Bowl, Grilled Chicken Bowl, Smoked Salmon Bowl, and for dessert, Baklava. We took our seats at the cafe and our order arrived in 10 minutes. The bowls were delicious and refreshing, giving us the protein needed for our journey. The smoked salmon and grilled chicken were especially noteworthy, and we loved them both. Even our toddler enjoyed the food, and he highly recommends Mediterranean Cafe.

Absolutely love the "freshness" of this restaurant; chic, but cozy. My husband and I arrived around…read more4:00 (before the dinner crowd) and we were warmly greeted by Buster. We were informed that we could seat ourselves. The dining area is not extremely roomy, but the space is just right. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were very tasty (though I expected them to be a bit bigger) and grilled wings, which were good. My husband ordered the wedge salad and Rae's burger (with fries). I ordered the market fish sandwich with dressed greens. I was informed the fish for the day was red snapper (yum!). Unfortunately, shortly after placing our order, Buster relayed some bad news - they were out of the red snapper. Not sure yet how that happened when the restaurant opened at 3:00 and we arrived around 4:00. Perhaps the folks in the kitchen didn't apprise Buster that there was no more fish??? In any case, though I was a bit disappointed, it was ok. I ordered a side Caesar salad, had a couple of the wings, a few of the stuffed mushrooms, and still had leftovers. Both our salads were larger than expected; my husband didn't get to his burger and had to bring that home as well. We ordered the bread pudding to go (which we were able to share when we got home in that it was a pretty decent helping). Note, the bread pudding was tasty, but not as moist as I expected; however, eating it with Vanilla Ice Cream worked wonders! Overall, we had a nice, relaxing time at Rae's, and look forward to sampling items from the dinner menu during our next visit.

The service is great, we were greeted immediately while walking in. The server was patient in waiting for our little catch up conversation. They were able to accommodate a virgin cocktail for my pregnant friend. The food tasted delicious! Being a vegetarian, I appreciate the multiple options they offered. I'm impressed with the greens, it's not the common house side salad but more of mixed spring greens w/ cucumbers! I loved it! I hope that they would consider adding soup to the sides on the menu. It would go great with their salad or handhelds.
