$16.99 for a bowl like this is worth the deal to me. Tried 2 of their 3 chicken flavors they offer, tandoori and kebab chicken. Both delicious. Tandoori chicken is juicy and has that true tandoori flavor imo. Rice is flavorful as well. They cook the meat fresh too. Healthy ingredients that taste good. I get 2-3 meals out of these bowls. Their customer service isn't that great. Mediocre and some of them seemed to be annoyed to be there. But nonetheless, great food. Come for the food not the service. I recommend it. Place is clean

Came here for the first time on lunch break, staff was welcoming, parking outside , HALAL food! Let's go. I love Afgan food, this place nailed it with the spices and seasonings. I actually writing this review while I'm eating. I must of came at a great timing because the parking is filling up. People are coming to get delicious food!!!! This is the wrong location. The address I posted below is the correct location. 10 Walt Whitman Rd Huntington Station, NY 11746 United States

Always have passed by this halal kebab spot whenever I'm on Bleecker Street in West Village. Finally went in this time to order a rice bowl with grilled chicken and different veggies as unlimited toppings. Customers can create a roll/wrap ($10.49), rice bowl ($11.49), salad ($11.49) or pita sandwich ($8.99) as the base. Proteins are grilled chicken, lamb gyro, falafel, chicken breast kebab, tandoori kebab, and chaplee kebab. If you want another serving of the protein, that would be an additional $3 out of your pocket. Unlimited topping options are chickpeas, shredded lettuce, pickled onions, pickles, black olives, jalapeños, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, hummus, sour cream, and pita. There're 5 sauces (white, green, red, tahini, yogurt, and BBQ). Besides the proteins + toppings + sauce over the base, you can get the cheeseburger ($7.99), hot wings (6-oc $9.99 + 10-pc $15.99), lamb or chicken gyro ($10.49), and falafel pita sandwich ($8.99). If you ever want sides to go with the meal, then they've fries ($5.99), hummus ($6.99), toasted pita ($3), 3-pc falafel ($6.99), and baklava for dessert ($6.99). Speedy service from staff who was very friendly, well-mannered, and helpful. Reasonable pricing for the food since location is around West Village after all. You can pay with cash and/or card. Ambiance wise is similar to a grab-and-go kind of eatery. Has eight seats by the windowsill and a table with two chairs on the side. There're some outdoor seating by the storefront. A green-colored charging station is plugged into the corner for customers to charge their mobile devices while eating. There's a huge fridge filled with bottles and cans of soda and mango lassi. I got a bottle of coke zero to wash down my rice bowl with. The staff was generous and not stingy. He had scooped up so many pieces of chicken into the rice bowl. I think I'd gotten more pieces than any other places like Sweetgreen and Cava. Chicken tasted so juicy, tender and flavorful that I would get it again next time. The salad and leafy greens looked and tasted fresh. Chickpeas were soft and hummus gave a smooth and buttery texture that would easily spread out over the chicken. The yellow rice had just the right amount of chewiness without being too dry or too overcooked. Remember to give Kebab Express a good review/two thumbs up for their delicious meat kebabs the next time you're stopping by. Opens late until 3-4am daily. Only downside is that there's no public restroom for customers to use. So, just hold it in, fellas.

I had a gyro my first time and it was pretty great, but oh my word... their chicken and rice is my new go-to. Talk about packed with flavor! If you're a tandoor chicken fan, grab a bowl of this. It's divine, and super affordable for NYC!! If that weren't enough, the service is personable and upbeat, and the view out the window can't be beat!

Great chicken plate, reasonable pricing, speedy service. Fast casual. Small limited window seating, and a few outdoor tables. I am only bothered by one thing, a staff member was dishonest, and said the chicken plate did not come with Pita. I paid for a pita, and when we reviewed the menu after eating we, realized that in fact the pita was part of the meal, without additional cost. So Kebab Express you owe me $2.00. "I want my two dollars!!!"- Film, Better off Dead No seriously you owe me $2.00. Other than, that the chicken plate with grilled chicken kebab is very good.

Tried the newly-opened Kebab Express for dinner this past weekend and it did not disappoint! I first noticed the shop because it is so brightly lit and pristinely uncluttered. I regret not taking any photos of the counter area to show this-- didn't expect that mine would be the first review!-- but I will be sure to capture the interior on my next visit. The people are lovely. Menu-wise, the food is what you would expect from a halal/kebab place, but it is special in that it is noticeably fresh and flavorful. Nice choice of toppings and sauces, too, and generous portions. We got take-out, and I appreciated the use of paper bowls as opposed to the fully plastic containers you would get at most halal carts. I can tell your right now that this place is going to be a frequent indulgence for me.

I was in the area with friends and weren't sure what to eat so we walked in and were immediately greeted with great energy and friendliness! They were all so nice and the owner was so hospitable. I got the chicken wrap and it was so good! Definitely recommend.

Nothing fancy, just delicious food for an unbelievable price. When you walk into this large spacious "cafeteria" with steam trays, it looks clean and quiet. There was a lady at the cash register that wasn't too helpful, but I guess the communication barrier played a part. At $8.99 per pound, you can really fill up here for an insanely good price. My favorites have been the beef dishes and therefore often skip all the chicken items. However, feel free to make a plate anyway you like. At the end of the day, I'm sure it'll be great.

The spicing can be quite different from other styles of cuisine, but whether or not you like it is a personal decision. I liked most of the food that was offered. I found the baked chicken to be excellent. The stewed chicken and the goat dish were also very good. Vegetables are all excellent...from greens to cabbage to carrots...all are delicious. The whole fish has a distinctive strong taste that took some getting used to...perhaps a lot of paprika and red pepper, but I'm not really sure...certainly a nice portion size. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.
