After having a friend tell me about Pure and how they love it I was excited to try it out. The stylist who I went to did a good job on my hair and I was really pleased with it. However, I struggled with the conversation. My regular hair stylist and I have great conversation and it goes back and forth. The stylist here mostly talked about herself. I don't want to mostly talk about myself either, but you need balance in a conversation to be enjoyable if you know what I mean. If I'm going to be sitting in a seat for 2+ hours getting my hair done I want good conversation. The prices are higher here than my normal salon I go to. Not sure if they set their own prices individually, but considering the stylist I went to was somewhat fresh out of hair school I don't think it was worth the price since my regular hair stylist does a great job, more experienced and slightly lesser prices. Anyways, I still recommend this place and the stylist did a great job on my hair overall.

The Gentlemen said to come on down so I did and was helped immediately. Helen took care of me and gave me options for the pedicure I wanted. I went with the "classic" and she did an amazing job. I felt very pampered!! Next we talked about my nails and she recommended "dip" over gel just because it would hold up better. Jimmie immediately addressed and repaired the issue, provides tools, tips and medication to continue the treatment, and established an ongoing regimen to ensure long term nail health. He also gave additional recommendations for holistic health. Fast forward three weeks and my mom is visiting from Arizona and complained about her toes being bothersome, and she appears to have the same issue. Jimmie is fixing her up and she will see a podiatrist in Arizona when she gets back. Once she is healthy she can find a reputable technician for long term care. They are so gentle and thorough and make my nails look amazing. I love the warm neck pillows and the blankets. My mom loves it as well and we always go together when she's in town. I didn't like that bait and switch. It should have been communicated that Karen wasn't available. I was very uncomfortable during the 11/2 hr pedicure. The way it's set up just is odd. The bowl kept slipping so I was trying to hold it so it didn't slip which hurt my legs. The opposite of what a relaxing spa experience should have been. I had two toe nails that were broke so to keep my nails even she left them completely uneven. No communication at all. She should have said since your 2 nails broke do you want me to cut the others down to make these 2 straight or keep them long and these 2 will be crooked. But she didn't speak at all. At all. I asked her to do a 3rd coat since it was streaky. She needed it to dry before putting on a topcoat. At that time my pedicure was over 90 mins already and I had an appt after my services, so I suggested that we start my manicure and then put the top coat on after my manicure. She said no she couldn't do that. No discussion just no. So I skipped the top coat. Definitely just get cozy not cozier or coziest. The towel was cold in a few minutes but she was gone for the 5 mins it was on and the massage was too soft. I decided to just get a cozy manicure. My manicure turned out ok but no scrub nolotion at all. That just seems weird. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs but would have been there for 3 if I didn't downgrade. All for an uncomfortable, subpar service. Not again. Oh and it was Valentine's Day week and not one person came in or called the entire time I was there. Odd. Or maybe not so odd after my experience.

I don't recall how long it was altogether, but I really loved the quality and attention to detail and they were very friendly throughout, including offering some beverages. I have a bad habit of picking at my fingers and they did a great job at cleaning up the damage I had done previously. I would love to return!
