Do you have any idea how hard it is to find someone to do your hair and not screw it up? I've lived…read morehere for five years and it took me three to find Jaton. For the past two years I've been going to see her and finally she opened her own salon Lift and it is beautiful. You walk in you're greeted promptly and the girls in there are just amazing. Follow them on Instagram to see their actual work. They post daily and it's THEIR own work not ones taken of what they possibly "can do." I have A LOT of hair and have had a few bad experiences but Jaton is someone I trust to take care of me. Today I showed her a couple pictures of what I had in mind and asked her what she thought. (My hair is dark brown just fyi) One of the photos I showed her had rose gold in it and she let me know that we could do that but it wouldn't last. So to the other photo I went! I want something that's going to last and I don't have time to keep up with it so that's on me. And as always she delivered! I LOVE my hair. I need to get a good picture of it so you can see the magic she did. She made sure she knew where I normally part my hair so that's a huge plus! She trimmed, thinned, colored, washed, dried and styled my hair. I love the way she curls my hair I can never freakin do it like this! Her prices are more than reasonable for the amazing service you're getting. I definitely recommend and will be back!

Overall Mariah did a decent job at my first appointment. I did end up with blonde money pieces…read moreafter I told her during the consult that I did not want them. Worst part is the money pieces were poorly done and completely uneven, which you could tell every-time I put my hair in a ponytail. Also, after she washed me in the bowl she didn't put any product on my hair afterwards. No leave-in or heat protectant, so I left looking frizzy after she dried and styled me. The most unfortunate part is I booked again because I had an upcoming wedding in two months and I didn't know anyone else in town. Since she didn't burn my hair off, I figured I could trust her for a second go around Mariah texted me the evening before my appointment to see if I could come in at a different time. I texted her back the same day a wide range of other times I could come in the following day. The morning of my appointment she texted me and canceled, she said it was an error on the receptionist and they did not communicate to me properly. I told her I understood but really needed to get my hair done as I was in a wedding the following day, which I already told her two months prior when I made the appointment. I asked if she could speak with the other stylists in the salon if they could please squeeze me in. She said she would talk to the girls and let me know asap She never reached out again.

The Hair Lab by Jessica G is a once in a lifetime find that I absolutely love. I made a…read moreconsultation appointment with Jessica G which gave me time to voice my hair goals and listen to her professional thoughts. Jessica G excels as a hairstylist and teacher for upcoming stylists. Jessica G is the hair professional I have been looking for my whole adult life. She is amazingly knowledgeable about hair overall. My wonderful experiences with her have included services focused on steps to improve the health of my hair, a hair cut, and being Jessica G's blank canvas for coloring my hair.. When it came to coloring my hair, I already had such confidence in Jessica G's knowledge and ability that I gave her total control. I have been a blond my entire life but Jessica G saw me as a redhead. I went in as a blond and left as a gorgeous redhead. I told Jessica G that I didn't want to know her plan for my hair color until the process was completed so I kept my eyes closed through the coloring process. When I was turned towards the mirror and saw my beautiful red hair I absolutely loved it and have loved it ever since. My family loves it too. Red is the color that woke up my skin tone. The transformation has been fantastic. I have seen how Jessica G takes upcoming or new hairstylists under her wing and is in the process of transforming them from a new stylist to a knowledgeable professional. I had the pleasure of having Jessica G and two other stylists, Rylie and Grace, working on my hair. I saw them soaking up Jessica G's knowledge which is a huge stepping stone on their path to becoming fantastic hairstylists themselves. My last thought to share is thank you Jessica G, Grace, and Rylie for loving what you do and radiating so much positivity. My time with you is so much fun!!! I look forward to my appointments with you in the future
