The iPad is automatically toggled to "karaoke" meaning that whatever you search up will bring a video that has the lyrics and instrumental, but no vocals. If you want your songs to have vocals, we found toggling "karaoke" OFF and searching "(song name) lyric video" got us what we wanted. We were a little confused about the water situation because I asked for water for the room and the hostess asked us, "did you want to pay for it separately or put it on the room tab?" Meaning we would have to pay for water "bottle service"? But then she brought in complimentary water anyway without us paying. Maybe there was a misunderstanding and we thought the other person said "bottle service" and not "water service." I would just double check to be safe! The highlight of this review is the FOOD! We all ordered some birria tacos before the kitchen closed and they were SOOO GOOD. So flavorful, nicely marinated, and oh so cheesy. And it's not because we were drunk too! We had 2 sober people that can confirm the birria tacos were bomb LOL. We love that the menu is actually real food and not just Chex mix for $10. I was tasked with finding a location in the Rocklin area to host a memorial gathering. Since I…read moredon't live nearby, I turned to Yelp and started calling places close to the mortuary where our family would be gathering. Pain Killers was the third place on my list. My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.

I invited a friend and we ordered several items off of the menu and we were all impressed....I was especially amazed by the tritip sandos. The last time we came (about a month ago) we noticed the food quality went down a little but, but was still good enough... Then today....man....wtf is happening? Even more so, she was super kind. So, I private chef along the corridor btw Reno and the Bay Area and, naturally, I had a cooler full of food in my car. When I told Katie I was just going to run out quickly and crack my car windows bc I had food in the car, she graciously offered to allow me to bring it in and keep my cooler in the walk-in. OMG... thank you, thank you, thank you Katie!!! You allowed me to relax and enjoy my meal and beverage without rushing and I am very grateful!
