During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. A reason why i went with this company is that they are licensed .... which i did double check and they do have a C10 which is for electrical. Also, they did answer with regard to how much a particular job would be. Originally, we had an after lunch timeslot... I requested if there was a possibility of a morning one the day prior... Thankfully, they were able to come on over and accommodate. So that's a plus. When they arrived, Nick was respectful and straight to the point. He pointed out some items that were needed to be addressed... and upgraded... Felt like an upsell but i do understand that when it comes to keeping a house safe, you gotta do what you gotta do and hopefully you get what you paid for. They offered to 1. do grounding.... 2. and also to install a surge protector.... 3. to change parts of the breaker that were damaged or cooked and not rated properly 4. Patch up the dry wall. 5. In addition to installing the tesla wall connector. Now originally, i just wanted to have just my tesla wall connector installed. The price for such is pretty affordable and comparable to other electricians. Unfortunately, with all the other things that needed to be done... the price exponentially increased. Good thing, they offered different modes of payment,.... like credit, debit, check, and even zelle. Since the bill was a pretty penny, he did mention doing a 60amp rather than a 50amp for the tesla wall connecter and making sure that all connections are up to code. I assumed from the beginning that it's supposed to be a 60amp since that is what the wall connector is rated for... In any case..... They got here at 8:43 am and were done by 10:07.... pretty quick and fast. I did like that Nick showed me the issues and also showed what they did and he assure me that everything is up to code. They sent an invoice via email and i paid them via check . Edit 2 weeks after: I have messaged them to cash the check i gave. They replied and promised that they will the following day but still hasn't ... i told them that I would be changing accounts .... Looking back, i think i should have asked for a breakdown of the services with the prices for each. They gave me an initial proposal of installation for a charge of : 300 usd. (50amp then 60amp) Then offered a surge protector for 350usd... Then said.... said let's make it up to code and charged me a total of 2,500.... for changing of fuses and putting a ground .... they didn't give a price but total was 2,500 USD. So i'm assuming that 2,500-650 =1,850 was for all that. Tbh, looking back... i felt that i overpaid...and upon asking around, apparently I did. I should just paid them for installation and that's it. And yes, they did ask for this review to be put out... hence, i'm editing it so that i'm writing it truthfully.

I called All City Plumbing the next morning at like 9am and they were able to schedule me in a time slot from 10am-12pm. Something interesting about this company is they use an AI virtual assistant that sounds like an actual human it's kind of creepy but "she" helped me pretty quickly unlike other virtual assistants. I ended up receiving a call around 9:30 letting me know that unfortunately my time I booked was no longer available and the next time was at 11am-1pm, I of course was willing to accept the time change since we only have the 1 toilet in the house My plumber arrived around 12:50pm (very timely) and was very friendly and assessed the situation ‍ He ended up telling us he needed to grab a tool at Home Depot down the street so he left and came back and finished up his work. Thankfully it was a relatively quick fix with his total time spent with us being 2 hours. We are so happy that he was able to resolve our toilet troubles and give us peace of mind. The price was also very very reasonable, I've never hired a plumber before so I was expecting something crazy but this was affordable Very easy to work with, I highly recommend them!

He charged me $145. So I don't know if our service guy from All City was incompetent or malicious but I will never use them again. Update - following the review and a phone call the $350 bill was dropped. Obviously they have lost my trust permanently. But thought I should include the final outcome in this review.
