I have always trusted Walmart with oil changes! Highly recommend! They not only change your oil,…read morebut they check your fluids and tire pressure! I've only had one instance where they accidentally put the wrong oil, but they were generous enough to fix it for free!

Unfortunately because I was hurting for an oil change since I was pushing my vehicle 2000 miles past when I usually do it because I didn't have the funds and was working I ended up just eating it. I figured since they weren't that busy when I arrived it wouldn't be more than an hour so I went ahead and went shopping for things I needed. By the time I got everything I needed almost an hr had passed so I used the scanner to scan the barcode they gave me and it said it hasn't been serviced yet. I continued to walk around the store for another half hr before scanning again to find out the same thing. Flustered I ended up going to the counter to check and get told the same thing. I paid for my stuff and waited in the waiting area. About 20 minutes passed until I finally got a text saying it was being serviced. By then it was an hr and 45 minutes passed when I arrived. About half an hr later I finally got a text saying my vehicle was ready. It took over 2 hrs to just get an oil change. When I arrived there was only 2 vehicles in the bay being serviced so how it took that long seemed like they prioritized other people who came after me and a couple other people that came in around the same time. I understand they are busy but I'm ver 2 hrs of a wait for an oil change is just ridiculous especially when there weren't many cars ahead when I arrived. I think next time I go somewhere else.

I've been coming to this Firestone for many years. Yesterday I had an appointment for a tire…read morerepair. They got me in right away, and I was out within 2 hours. It took longer because I needed a new tire and the one I needed was at a different location. A Firestone driver brought the tire so we had to wait. No problem. They were able to use my tire warranty to get a discount for the new tire. The customer waiting area does need to be updated. Chairs are kind of grungy.

I'm here to visit my Mom. And when I visit, I try to take care of whatever needs to be taken care…read moreof. One is a new headlight. She had been driving around with only one headlight for months. She relayed Firestone had quoted her a $500 estimate to replace her headlight. WTF?! I called around and found cheaper estimates. I also thought of simply purchasing the bulb and having my brother put it in, but I know that can be complicated (some headlights are very involved). Long story short, she wanted to go back to Firestone (Ugh!) after they quoted her a lower price. We get there, and the mechanic explains that it is indeed $600 (increased since her last estimate) due to the type of bulb that is being replaced. Again, I would rather go elsewhere, etc., but my time here is limited, and I want to get it done. So, just do it. They had to order the bulb we now know we needed. It was explained that it would arrive to the shop in 20 minutes. I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the manager's expertise (I believe he was the manager) who came out to the waiting room a few times to explain some issues to the customers. He seemed concerned, thoughtful, and professional. While we waited, several customers arrived and waited....... and waited....... and waited to be addressed. It got to the point that I would advise them to knock on the window to get the attention of the mechanics. Perhaps they were short staffed. The manager left at some point, and I saw only 2 employees (maybe they were on break). This was at about an hour into our wait. At 2 hours into our wait (it's a headlight, c'mon now), I started walking back to the garage to see what was going on. I saw Dominick (sp) working on it, so I assumed it wouldn't be long. But hey, I have nowhere to be. Both Mom & I used the bathroom. When I went it I saw, it left much to be desired. Yes, it's a tire shop, but that should be on the list of things to check. Now it's 3 hours into our wait. FOR A HEADLIGHT REPLACEMENT. What gives?! I will say that Dominic (when he would see me at the window watching their work) would come and explain the progress, always ending with...... and then you'll be done, but still waiting. Finally, almost 3.5 hours in we paid $600 for a new headlight. Waiting 3.5 hours to have Mom's headlight replaced - Aggravating, but time for us to talk. Replacing Mom's headlight after she's been driving around one-eyed, because she couldn't afford it - PRICELESS. She always brings her car here for service. If I lived here I'd find a real mechanic to service her car; perhaps use after-market headlights, etc. But, she's gonna do what she's comfortable with, so...... Firestone it is.

SCRATCH A LIE...FIND A THEIF! (With this owner)…read more $685 Repair Bill and found out afterwards my truck was out of gas??? This should have been told to me over the diagnostic phone call on Friday!!! Not left out until I go pay the bill Saturday!!! I feel stupid but I also feel taken advantage of. I am used to the truck gas gauge being 1/8-1/4 off. Usually the gas light still comes on. This time it didn't. I thought I had gas. Truck shuddered and the Check Engine light came on. I had it towed Thursday at 4pm to Blue Castle. I told the owner Anthony I thought it was the fuel filter or fuel pump. I called him back twice telling him of the sputtering symptoms at stop signs and red lights when going to accelerate. I remember calling twice to help him diagnose it better. Still no discount off their diagnostic fee. The owner called me back about 2:39pm Friday saying it was the Fuel Pump and Sending Unit. He said parts about $300, (Amazon sells that part for $62.99 and delivers in 2 days). He charged me 2 hrs labor, plus diagnostic fee $90. Estimate was $650 Saturday they call me at 10:40am the truck is ready. I get there and the owner gives me two gas receipts timed a few minutes earlier because they said my gas tank was empty. Receipts timed for 9:18 and 11:25am. How could they diagnose the problem the day before if the truck was out of gas in the first place? I didn't know being out of gas was the original problem. The owner Anthony did not mention to me that the truck was out of gas on Friday over the phone. He only said it needed the Fuel Pump and Sending Unit replaced. Had he been honest with the diagnostics during the phone call. I could have just go get some gas, pay his diagnostic fee and go!!! It did not happen this way. They had to over charge me on parts, plus 2 hrs labor($190), plus their so called professional diagnostics fee($95)? Anthony the owner failed to tell me I was simply out of gas? Really??? It was a viable option that he hid from me(the customer) during Friday's phone call weather to do the work or not. Anthony the owner also said he doesn't get parts from Amazon($62.99) That he pays the higher prices from his sources ($280) and up charges 20%. (Charging me $319.99). In closing, weather you pay in cash or debit card it is all the same. No discounts to be found. If you pay on a credit card they charge an additional 4%. I do not suggest dealing with such practices. They definitely got me good when they could have told me. "Hey, Did you know your truck was simply out of gas???" I drove away and my truck still sputtered like it was out of gas. I stopped and added gas nearby. I do not think they put $32 of gas in my truck. My needle was on 'E' when I left. "Snakes" Is the best word I can think of for my experience.
