Went last night for first time. We wanted ribs and drove forty mins to get there. After a bit of a wait and hearing the specials yada yada yada , the waiter told us no more ribs. None left. We were bummed. So then decided on prime rib. We ordered cocktails and waited a while. Waiter brings drinks and then told us no more prime rib. Ridiculous. We left. Rather than apologize or offer any concession, the manager just explained why they ran out .. It was a seven pm dinner and they should have enough food. My husband was very agitated . Not going back. It is the day before my 42 nd birthday -ugh! We walk into KC Prime at 5 for a ore dinner cocktail and appys ... cucumber martini was sublime!!! My Coors lite drinking husband even drank one. I on the other hand-drank two! A nice surprise occurred when my sister randomly showed up ( hence the second martini). Jimmy got the sliders -yum. I got the tuna taco's. Interesting but I think just the tartare without the won ton wrappers may have been more to my liking but I really liked them. Our WAITER~ TIM was not great. He didn't mention salad came with the meal..no dressijngs were discussed and he seemed annoyed. Oh well too Bad! I got the prime rib which was superb. The wasabi mashed were awesome. Jim got the special rubbed. T- bone. ( which our condescending waiter said..it is 40.00 you know in a snotty voice) up yours Tim...I make more money than you. Sorry he really posses ne off. I have been to KC Prime numerous times and have always had a great experience. This was not the case last Saturday night. My wife and I took our daughter, visiting from Seattle, WA and our two friends to KC for what we though would be an enjoyable evening. We arrived and were seated and our waitress came and took our drink orders. My friend and I had drinks and the ladies ordered a bottle of wine. The drinks arrived and after 10 minutes the waitress came over to take our order. I asked about the wine and she stated oh let me check. 10 minutes later the wine arrived and she came back and took our appetizer order. That arrived and it was very good but we ate it and waited 15 minutes to have the empty plates removed by someone else. Our waitress showed back up and took our orders and when they arrived my friend order his steak medium rare and it was rare. I order mine medium rare and it was well done. We tried to locate our waitress but after 20 minutes I gave up. Finally someone else came to the table and asked how things were. I explained we have not seen our waitress in over 20 minutes she never stopped back to see how things were and we need additional drinks. She took our drink order and offered to give me another steak. I said not because we have already been 20 minutes in to our meal and everyone else was just about done with their meal. Our waitress did make an appearance several minutes later and said she has carpal syndrome and was in a lot of pain. Someone else cleared our table. I did not eat my steak and she said she would take it off the bill. We ordered coffee waited 15 minutes, drank the coffee and departed quite disappointed. We both ordered steak (me the prime rib, hubby the porterhouse) and although not the best we've ever had, we both agreed we would go back. Prices reasonable. No charge for soda refills, YAY! Sunday night was our first time at KCPrime in Warrington and in one word...FABULOUS! We took my father- in-law to celebrate his 90th B-Day. The atmosphere was very nice - not formal but nice casual. Although I liked the music selection being played - it was too loud - very difficult to hear one another talk or our waiter tell us about the specials !!! Our waiter Phillip was terrific !! Since it was our first time at KC - he explained the whole menu & made us feel very comfortable! His service was perfect! The food was delicious ! We had the crab cake on a sweet potato for an appetizer - prime rib - chopped salad with flat iron steak - KC Burger & New York Strip ! Everyone's meat was done to perfection. We ended with dessert - KC Doughnuts with fruit syrup & white chocolate cheese cake - both were incredible ! Although some may think some items to be pricey, I thought all was worth the price ! Wonderful experience. We came to try the Chef's Tasting Menu while visiting Doylestown from NYC. Our server Connor was a delight and had helpful suggestions. Great wine list at many price points. My husband had Mako Shark for the first time and thought it superior to his beloved swordfish. I had steak/frites. One of the most buttery, tender cuts of meat that I have ever had. Excellent preparation and presentation and the $35 special is an economic way to try something new. The steaks and filets we saw served around us were huge and everyone seemed quite cont. Manager Anthony is quite an asset. Our only disappointment was dessert- my husband's apple cake was small but flavorful but my affogatto was a tad bitter and could have used more ice cream. But a lovely dining experience and far superior to ones we have had in the city for more than double the price. Sunday and Monday tasting menu is a great introduction to this wonderful restaurant. read more

I recently had a private birthday party for my wife in the upstairs room for just under 30 friends and family. Everything was superb from the food, to the bartenders, the room setting, and the price was much lower than expected. Everyone commented to me during the party that the appetizers were fantastic. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had, and the sliders flew off the plates. Anthony (manager) went over everything with me beforehand and made some custom tweaks to the drink menu to make it a special night that my wife will remember forever. I hear that dinner is amazing in the lower restaurant. I am here to let you all know that if you are planning a party that this is the place to book it. There really isn't anything I would have done differently, and the staff made sure the night ran smoothly from start to finish. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have an upscale party for a group of friends and family. Big thanks to KC Prime, it was top notch. read more

We went to KC Prime for the first time for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Service and food was very good and fast. I ordered a steak done medium-rare. It came to the table a bit more done than medium. The server apologized immediately, took the steak back to the kitchen and had the entire order re-made. It arrived the second time perfectly cooked. It was delicious. To comp me for the first overdone steak, the server gave the entire table free dessert. To celebrate the birthday, we also got a free piece of chocolate cake. There are no words for the spectacular service this restaurant provides. KC Prime hosted a surprise 70th birthday for my mom this past Saturday evening. From the planning with mangers to cutting of the cake, they could not do enough for us. We choose to have the food served buffet style and they could do no wrong. The flow and abundance of food was spot on. The arugula salad with pork belly and maple syrup along with crab cakes and calamari were the favorites of the night. I must say I was truly disappointed with breakfast today. I really miss the Sunday brunch, I can go anywhere for eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon for $11. I use to make the long drive to Kc Prime for the prime breakfast and elaborate choices. The worst dining experience we've ever had. Despite all the good reviews we've read. When you order a $46 dollar steak, I think you have a right to expect it to be edible, not so full of fat and gristle you can't even cut with a steak knife (I left half of it on the plate...totally inedible) and way undercooked (I ordered medium, got really rare). My dates filet mignon was only $33, so I guess you cant expect it to be cooked to order either...or have a taste...ANY taste. Couple this with indifferent service (had to send up a flare to get the waiter's attention) and you're almost there, but not quite. I ordered a scotch with a splash of soda and a 2-3 ice cubes, it I suppose that was too much work. Instead I was given one glass which had scotch (but no soda) and a separate glass of ice, so I could make my own drink. Oh, yeah, and we had requested a quiet table, as we were celebrating a special occasion. Guess what we got??? We could almost excuse any one of these incidents (and that would be charitable at these prices), but one after another means we won't be back. Ever. And, by the way, we have NEVER written a negative restaurant review ever, until this experience. read more

I have liked KC Prime since it opened but after yesterday, won't be going back. Actually met the owner at business card exchange right before the grand opening. I go to the brunch close to monthly. In the reaches of my mind I remembered I bought a Groupon. When I brought it up to use it, it had expired 4 days previously. They wouldn't take it. Said they would take the paid value only. A few times in the past I accidentally let a Groupon expire by usually a lot more than 4 days. The businesses were always gracious and honored them. This is the first experience were they turned me down flat. Especially knowing I frequent them. They won the battle and lost the war. It will be brunch at T.J. Smith's from now on and its 4 of us who go. (Which of course I would have spent an additional $50 even with the groupon.) What kind of business sense do you have to lose a customer and get this kind of negative feedback over $20? And KC Prime, if you read this and try to contact me, not even free will get me through your doors ever again. And there will never be another good word about you from me, only this true story. read more

My boyfriend and and I were in the area for a little overnight and just enjoying a rare day off. KC Prime was recommended by another business we had visited earlier in the day and it was very close to our hotel. I personally was pleasantly surprised it was more than just your average steakhouse. We went to the bar first and had cocktails, and was told by the hostess, "just let us know when you'd like your table." While at the bar we noticed tons of appetizers being brought out, which we didn't order at that time but the sliders were very popular and looked amazing. We were taken to our table very promptly. Our server was there immediately and was amazing!! He was polite, asked if we'd been there before, which we had not. He ran down almost the whole menu which was no easy task, made recommendations and was just a pleasure to deal with. We ended up ordering a fried calamari appetizer with sweet and sour sauces drizzled over top. The steak for 2 which was ridiculously huge, and sides of asparagus with hollendaise sauce, creamed spinach casserole and truffled fries. Everything was incredible!!! The portions were generous even with us sharing the sides. The staff is super friendly and competent. We would go back again in a heartbeat! read more

Great atmosphere, outstanding food, excellent service! Our waiter, Ray did a great job in keeping our party of five happy. We were seated so quickly with fresh baked homemade bread, hummus and olive oil which were complimentary. Not the best hummus I've ever had, but the oil and delicious bread made up for it. The burgers delicious, calamari was amazing, large salads and crab cake was the best I've ever eaten (hardly any filler). It did lack a sauce and since they had no tarter, I asked for cocktail and that was fine. Some of us shared sandwiches and salads and Ray split them up ahead of time for us without asking. The only negative would be their homemade complimentary potato chips; they were so bland and overly crunchy. I was afraid of breaking a tooth. Also, the Lobster mac and cheese consisted of a tiny piece of lobster on top of mac and cheese in a tiny bowl that cost about $12.99. Definitely, not worth the price. Nonetheless, we would definitely go back to try the steaks. The desserts were great but the dessert that Ray recommended which was the flourless chocolate cake was to die for.... Cannot wait to go back! I didn't give it five stars yet because their menu was limited and just a few flaws as mentioned above. I give it time to make five stars. read more

KC Prime in Warrington was a HUGE disappointment to say the least. We came for a birthday celebration for my wife in a group of 9 family members. The server N_ _ _ _ _e, was cold in her attitude and arrogant in a few encounters (had to keep asking for service). When you are spending almost a $1000.oo you expect a night to favorably remembered. When the Saturday night started out at 7:00 pm and the bar didn't have tonic water to mix with the Tangueray. Seriously? The soup was at room temperature. Annoyed we had to stop her to get it warmed up. The steaks were fair at best. Had to ask for more than 1 basket of bread for the table. I have been holding back on this review because I was wondering if anyone of the management really knows what is going on under that rooftop. We paid a premium for a lack luster outing. The meal we had last Saturday night will go down in the record books as the best I've had. Every expectation we had was overly exceeded throughout our dining experience. Our group of four was no match for the waitress who handled our experience with ease.. and to be honest we were a loud group that is very openly critical about what we eat/drink. One individually at our table has owned his own restaurant for 20 years and has been in the food industry for 30. Being a man that enjoys his food and loves a nice steak he said "Honestly, I thought it would be more of an Outback Steakhouse - Instead it was the best NY Strip and possibly the best steak I've ever had". Our order consisted of the 14oz NY Strip special, the 16oz Bone-in Cowboy Rib eye, and two filets. Also, the thick cut bacon and tuna tacos to start while we had the apple cobbler and vesuvius to finish with - All of which were delicious. The waitress matched us with the perfect bottle of wine for our dinner and the managers made sure to walk the floor and say hello to their guests. It's nice to be able to go into a restaurant and let them explain why they are different then all the other steakhouses and what they do to go the extra mile You know it's a good meal when you wake up the next morning still talking about the entire experience.
