It wasn't even like I had fungus growing on me either. Notably, I had Cindy who was really slow on the pedi. Then today... I had Cindy, again. I picked a color that looked thick and nice on the example nail. But on my nail, it ended up being transparent. If I had nice natural nail tips... maybe I could pull it off as hipster/trendy, but this wasn't the case. Cindy did not tell me that it would look transparent, she just acted like everything was fine. The worst part was that when I told her how I felt, she tried to convince me that it was a good colour/look, and so did the manager. I mean, I think it's a no brainer that you're not looking for transparent nails, unless you ask for them specifically. So to rectify, they just took off the top coat, and put another colour that I chose. Obviously, to make it easy, since I was already there for an hour, I picked a dark colour. Right now, I have the remnant orange popping from the sides of the dark blue - poor job. Anyways, this experience took 1:30hr. Normally, a shellac experience should only take 45mins. If I was customer service, I would have offered a second appointment in the next couple of days to fix it for free. Now, I'm just never gonna go back. $25 + tip to waste my time and my money.

First Visit: I went to Hot Nails for a dip acrylic set. The store is very clean and following all covid-19 protocols. I felt very safe and comfortable, everyone was wearing a mask. Customer service is very friendly and I had good talks with Jenny and Kathy. My nails were given a lot of detailed attention. There is soooo much to choose from for your colour, stickers, gems, and designs. I showed a couple inspiration pictures and the results are even better than what I wanted. Picture speaks for itself. I've come here a handful of times now and overall Century does a great job…read more Only once did I get a technician I felt rushed my shellac manicure and it was a bit sloppy (the edges of my nails were stuck to my skin because the polish was gloppy). Having said that, I've only had good experiences since so I'll chalk it up to that lady maybe having a bad day. Overall, Century seems clean and the ladies are very sweet. I have gone in with an appointment and also without (only had to wait for a few minutes). This spot has become my go to if I need a quick mani and/or pedi as it is super close to my work. Tip : if you pay cash, they won't charge tax!

The prices are average for the services provided, I typically pay about 60 with tip for a full bio gel set, sometimes I spring for a fancy design and only get charged a bit more. I almost never make appointments (not saying people should do this), but they always take me regardless. The people are sweet and treat you like a long time friend. The BEST thing about this salon though, is the insanely large selection of colours and unique polishes. Every time I see someone with a unique colour, they always say it's from here. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere new to try!

She custom mixed the colors for me to get the watery glow I was looking for and was meticulous every step of the way after.
