I was pleasantly surprised that when I downloaded the new app they had loaded in a digital coupon for one free handmade medium beverage. What I like about Good Earth - is the focus on naturally derived ingredients (like real pumpkin purée not just a sugar syrup) and the variety of unusual drinks not found at Second Cup or Starbucks. So if you're looking for a 8am coffee, you will need to bring your own. This morning I was the first customer and was greeted by a friendly young man who made the perfect iced matcha latte! I will definitely be ordering this again! Beverages here come in one size (or at least I think they do). Their syrups are 183 and you can opt for sugar free even as their matcha powder is pure and unsweetened and then they add syrup! See you soon! There is LOVELY seating both on the ground floor and upstairs with LOADS of natural light. They carry 1883 syrups and are happy to customize your beverage to your liking. We were told , even though there were empty tables we could not be seated for 20 min. After over 50 minutes I asked if our table would ever be ready, and we were seated right away. I think they forgot about my dad and I. Then it took 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Service was so slow we didn't get food till 1:45, and when we were done I had to stand and lean on the table to get our waiters attention to get the bill. In my opinion, now that the ambiance is set and the food is good, they could spend a little time perfecting efficient customer service.
