Check menu prices before ordering -you'll save money ordering a large, but the large sandwich is still $26!!!! We used to really love coming here when we lived in the area. Mlive Michigan's best? Who quit caring the moment they got that tag placed on their sign. We chose to "dine in" sadly, this place could be a cozy little place to eat but they turned the dining room into a storage room and their attitude SHOUTS that your presence is not welcome. The guy that brought out our food just put the boxes on the table and walked away without a word like he was just taking out the trash. We ordered a veggie grinder Italian grinder, fries and a calzone. We really only needed to order one item to sample their food because ALL their food is exactly the same they use the same undercooked bland dough for their subs as they do for their calzones (it's just horribly thick on the sub) I ordered it "skinny" (aka "1/3 less bread" according to their menu) but it was just as thick as the other sub. The sausage in the calzone was good and so were the fries. That's why they got the second star. This place is HIGH priced and LOW on passion. I am writing about a very unfortunate experience we had this evening with Kazoopys, in the hopes that A. Customers will learn from this experience B. This business will learn from the experience Over the past few months we have gone to this establishment three or four times and have spent a couple hundred dollars in total. In all of the experiences we have had with restaurants this has definitely been one of the most surprising and rudest experiences ever as a customer. We placed an order for pick up and picked up the order and took it home. When we got home, we realized we were short one whole sandwich from their order. We live 15-20 minutes away, so spending another 30-40 minutes in the car for someone else's mistake was not a possibility in this situation. We immediately called, and upon calling about this, there was very little this establishment was willing to do. First of all, the Manager was not willing to even come to the phone. They were too busy I heard them say in the background. They will have to call later. There are other customers they need to make food for. We did try calling and talking to said manager at least TWO times. What about the customers that already paid for and picked up their food who's order you messed up? They apparently could not be bothered to rectify a situation. They were unwilling to A. Even get on the phone to try and make a resolution happen B. Remake and deliver the item to us because we were outside of their 5 mile delivery radius C. Refund money for the order We were appalled. I was offered a five dollar credit for the future which was about enough to cover HALF of the cost of the sandwich they left out. I was expecting a refund for the missing item and a courtesy credit of some sort, or a willingness to drive the forgotten item to us. None of this happened. And as I stated earlier they were even unwilling to come to the phone. They said I could call back at 8 p.m. and they may talk to me about the situation. WHAT?!?!?!?!?! I should not have to wait two hours to talk to a manager about a situation they were unwilling to make right. I would rather spend my time educating others to not make the same mistake. I did tell them that I would be writing a very comprehensive review related to this experience and hopefully others would learn of their unwillingness to do the right thing. Their food here is not bad, but when a paying customer calls with an issue that was a KAZOOPY MISTAKE, and you are unwilling to even spend the time talking on the phone to them because you have other new customers, that is a huge red flag. Hopefully others do not have this issue but I am guessing it is pretty common practice for how they deal with customers. I called a couple of times to try to talk to the manager immediately to try and get a suitable resolution and they would not get on the phone. Good luck everyone, hopefully you don't have to deal with similar issues, make sure you double check your order before you leave the store or before they leave the driveway, BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!! read more

We don't have too many places that deliver to us but we do prefer Kazoopys! Their grinders are tasty and the bread always seems fresh. Since they're so large we can usually split them too. The salads are choose your own veggies so that makes it nice to choose what ingredients I want vs what the place thinks I want! And all the ingredients are fresh! Only downfall is it's located in a convenience store, although some may like to grab their 6 pack of beer while they get their dinner! read more

Had my first Grinders from Kazoopy's last night. They were great, the bread was perfectly baled and has a lot of flavor. The ingredients inside were good quality. However, one thing kept me from thoroughly enjoying the experience. The more I ate, the more I realized that there really wasn't anything helping it go down. I heard all about Kazoopy sauce, and if it was there, then it didn't live up to expectations. In fact, it didn't taste like it had any condiments on it, let alone a signature sauce. Traveling, we thought we would call in advance for pickup....we were put on hold for 42 minutes...the time it took to get there in person. Arrived to pick up items only to be told my order was now $22.xx. After inquiring about the price discrepancy, the employee stated because I had switched green olives in place of green peppers. I was informed that because of such a change that the ingredients had to be entered individually, thus raising the price of the phone quote. Rather than offer the quoted phone price, the employee showed me the fine print on the menu and tucked my completed order behind the counter for himself to presumably enjoy. After leaving, I thankfully went back to get my receipt from the cancelled card order, only to find the employee had to dig through the store trash to locate my wadded up receipt. I ordered from Kazoopys for the first time yesterday after hearing so many great reviews from co workers! Unfortunately I didn't care for my sandwich that I ordered and my French fries were burnt! I reached out to Oshtemo location only to be treated very poorly as a customer employee Kristina DeLucenay was extremely rude and completely unwilling to accommodate me she told me and I quote "I can't go to McDonald's and order a fish sandwich and just give is back because I don't like it" Kristina was extremely argumentative she never offered to send me out a different sandwich offer a credit or even half off on my next purchase! Ultimately after going back and fourth with Kristina she then told me "you are barking up the wrong tree" and then proceeded to hang up on me! I called back to speak to a manager and a young man answered he gave me a phone number Kristina was in the background yelled during the call which led the young man to hang up on me as well I later found out the number the young man gave me was the wrong number I do believe I was given the wrong number purposely. I called the West main location to get the correct number of the manager who I have reached out to but haven't gotten an response yet! At the end of the day the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!!!! In the end i spent $13 on food that I didn't even eat and I spent seven minutes arguing with an employee who could've easily fixed the problem with better customer service skills! My review is not of the food because I honestly haven't tried anything that I like and as far as I'm concerned because of the poor customer service treatment I will never order from kazoopys again and I will never recommend kazoopys simply because of employees like Kristina D!!!!!! What a shame employees like Kristina D is the reason why some really good businesses don't last nobody wants to be treated like crap especially when they are spending their hard earned money!!! It seemed like they mostly do take-out orders, but I couldn't find a take-out menu (for the future) and they just got too busy to ask. Our sandwiches were really good. I had the Italian and my companion had the meatball deluxe. We both ordered medium. She was smart and saved half for later. I snarfed down 3/4 of mine, just because it tasted so good.
