Also, this happened to other customer today where the staff only put the value of the money for 4 massages on giftcard, but the free one is not included on the giftcard. She wanted to claim the free one, but unable to, because the gift card had no balance for the free one.** By the time we used one massage and wanted to check out, they said we haven't paid, then they need to contact the manager to clarify. I said "we" because it happened with 2 different customers with the same situation like me while I came there. Today, I had to leave before I got a massage, because the staff took so long to resolve another customer issue, same kind of issue. The staff, manager on the phone, and customers argued against each other. "This problem can be an easy fix. If customers buy the packet of 4 massages get 1 free, the staff just need to hand out 5 gift certificates. Problem solved!" Instead of taking 15-30 mnts just to clear out the misunderstanding. Hope they can fix this for a better customer experience. Otherwise, it will be 5 stars from me.

The appt was, well it didn't help the issue I was having. I received many calls to make additional appts, he even suggested twice a week, which I did not do. Then I get a bill in the mail claiming my appt was not covered by my insurance because, "there was a hidden deductible for any office visits that are longer than 40 minutes." Really??? I'm puzzled that any insurance would have some hidden charge clause that an appt lasting longer than 40 min would result in a denial of payment. I called and left a message that this office confirmed my Coverage (otherwise why would I make the appt to begin with) so why would I owe? And my insurance said they don't have a deductible and secondly, they don't have a time clause of any appts. I received a call back and the guy apologized and said, "oh, that wasn't supposed to be on your statement"...... Long story short, they don't accept my insurance...but didn't know at the time that they didnt??? And had I gone 2 times a week as suggested....I wouldve been looking at an almost 600.00 bill....

I called for appointment and they asked if we could head over now. We showed up, and we were treated so well. I told my wife that I have never had a better lower back massage. I hope the manager would experience a massage from their own staff to understand. I had pretty bad experience with other Soul massage location couple days ago, and I thought to try this location due to its pretty high reviews on Google. I had an appointment at 6:30 PM for a two-hour massage. They texted me around 3pm to ask if I could do 7:00 PM. I was there on time, but they finally got me in around 7:10 PM, and the massage started at about 7:16 PM. Even more concerning, while I was lying naked, they kept opening the door, asking me questions without closing it, and I could see the main door through the that. I eventually had to ask them to close the door. On their questionnaire form, I indicated that I wanted a focus on my lower back, yet she kept massaging my shoulders and neck. She was just roughly kneading my flesh and continuously rubbing my skin for over forty minutes. When I asked her to focus on my lower back, she continued to knead broadly without understanding the muscle structure. It became so painful that I had to tell her it hurt. The therapist just laughed, thinking I meant the soreness, and continued until I stopped her. I told her to just massage my legs. She did only for a few minutes, then she lifted the blanket again, trying to massage my back. I requested to end the session at one hour. It's almost like a nightmare that I had to watch the clock, hoping time goes faster and not to hurt her feeling, but my skin was burning. Honestly, not long after I left, my shoulders and neck were extremely painful, as if they were bruised after being kneading a lot. I also had some difficulty breathing.

1 Star - Very uncomfortable tipping experience…read more I have been a regular customer at this massage place and usually visit about twice a month. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how important tips are and I always tip fairly depending on the quality of service. In the past I have tipped anywhere between $15-$25. However, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I booked a 90-minute massage that cost $115 after tax. When it came time to pay, I intended to leave a $20 tip, which would bring my total to $135. The payment machine actually showed multiple tip options including $20. However, the staff refused to allow me to select the $20 option. They insisted that the tip must be 30% or more, and pointed to a small note on the table that said 30% gratuity is "appreciated." They then attempted to add $30 to my bill without my agreement. This is very concerning for several reasons: * The 30% tip was never disclosed before the service started * It was not listed on the official menu or pricing * The payment machine still shows optional tip amounts but customers are not allowed to choose them * Staff attempted to force a higher tip after the service was already completed A gratuity is supposed to be voluntary unless a business clearly lists a mandatory service charge before the service begins. Posting a small note on the table and then pressuring customers at the payment terminal is not transparent and creates a very uncomfortable situation. As a loyal customer who has supported this business many times, I felt extremely disappointed by how this was handled. If a business wants to require a 30% service charge, it should clearly state that on the menu and inform customers before the service -- not pressure them at the register after the service is finished. Customers should be aware of this policy before visiting.

It's a step above the average Asian massage parlor; it's got a clean, fantastic setup and vibe. As the name suggests they use hot stones as part of the $60 1 hour massage which is a nice feature.
