I've been meaning to write this review since Christmas, as I came in to shop on Christmas day after getting off work. They offer an abundance of scrub brands, types of fits, shoes, etc., that made it hard for my indecisive self to narrow down. However, the staff allowed me free range to look around. I did not feel hovered over or unwelcome at any point. I was able to try on a few different pairs of scrubs pants with no difficulty. When I went to the cashier to ring me up, both of the employees were very friendly. They do accept apple pay, but no refunds. Just something to keep in mind. read more

I went to this store and I won't be returning back. I attempted to exchange a pair of scrubs that aren't my correct size within the two week time period along with the tags. The owner refused to let me exchange my scrubs. Not only did he refuse but he squeezed my arm and shoved me to get out of his store. He accused me of being rude when he in fact was yelling at me. His wife did nothing to help. Instead she ignored me, laughed at me and even recorded me without my permission. This store literally isn't safe to go inside of! My wife and I, who both work in healthcare, have been coming here for over 12 years. With ample parking and an easy to get to location right off the 91 FWY, Kay uniforms is a convenient uniform shop in northern OC. While their prices aren't the cheapest, they do have a good selection (mostly for women) of many popular brands (I have yet to see Figs at a brick and mortar store). They also sell petite sizes which fit my wife just fine. When my wife started her new job, she needed a lab coat with her name embroidered on it. She got a stylish, women's cut coat for about $50.00 and the embroidery for around $9.00. I dropped the coat off Wednesday evening and it was ready Friday morning. The two women running the place are nice and even help you find scrubs in your size (when I went to drop off my wife's lab coat she asked me to pick up 3 more sets of scrubs. I just had to tell the lady the brand and color and size and she got them for me, nice!). They also have T-shirts, sweats and a lot of Dickies branded clothing for men, so it's more than a uniform shop. Sure, we could probably get a better deal if we hunted and pecked around for other shops, but there's something to be said about convenience and selection. Warning to everyone!!! I don't give reviews ever but i have never encountered this kind of service in my life. I don't know what happened to this place, I use to buy my uniforms here a lot. Today i came here and planned to buy at least 3 pairs of uniform. I tried 3 pairs to make sure it fits but the owner was not happy and signaled for me to leave. The guy owner doesn't speak english and basically just waving his hand to shoo me out. I don't mind if they don't allow the uniforms to be fitted but to drive a costumer out because they thought they are not gonna make a sale? horrible. Where are these people from? read more

The hours are not accurate, their Google page is more trustworthy. They have a good selection and many brands to choose from. Terrible customer service. I never leave reviews, but the staff was unbelievably rude and seemed bothered when asked for assistance. Refused to open fitting room for us to try on clothes. I tried to talk to the worker to tell her how we needed help and they seemed inconvenienced by us and she told me and my mother "We can refuse service. Just go. Leave". Very Rude place !! I walked into getting Dodgers hat When I was there lady works there was arguing with customer I waited until she over with this customer. When I asked to see different colors of hats. She refused to show me and she acted like she didn't know anything about baseball caps. I was looking for work uniforms, tried on a few pairs, found one and when attempted to try on more owner said I had reached my limit, told me to come back another day and closed the fitting rooms. I wouldn't give any stars if that was an option. I had been a loyal customer for over a decade. It only took one bad experience after another to disappoint. I had turned in a vest from my employer to have it personally embroidered only to have it damaged, wait two weeks for them to get a new one, and then drive for the second time almost an hour away for DAVID to "forget" to include my employer's embroidery that was on the first vest I had turned in. You wanted me to wait ANOTHER week. It wasn't about the money for gas DAVID. It was TIME. The amount of TIME I have had to wait, the amount of TIME wasted that I can't get back after a LONG day at work. You wanted to keep the original, for what? It's mine. You HAD to get me a new one for your mistake. The least you could have done was ship both. So you're damn straight I walked out with both. I refuse to continue to buy from a company that doesn't value their customers and is more concerned about a few dollars for shipping. Thought that Kay Uniform being open during Covid-19 was a blessing until I discovered that I bought the wrong size uniform pants. When I tried to return them within their 14 day return policy, I was told all sales were final! This was NOT told to me upon check out and wasn't posted in writing anywhere!!! Great place to buy scrubs! Organized and clean. The workers are nice and the prices are pretty good.

Huge selection of scrubs available for women, with a decent assortment of price ranges as well. There is an entire store and a half (the left side of the building) of scrub choices available to look through. Lots of color and design options available for whatever it is you could possibly be looking for. There's only a few racks of scrubs available for men, though. Basic selection of colors available for men. The other half of the store has other work clothing available. I didn't look too much on this side of the store, though. The staff was nice and helpful, when you seek out help. After telling them what I was looking for, they were able to help significantly narrow down my search with just a handful of choices that fit my size, budget, style, fabric material, and request for number of pockets. I ended up buying 3 pairs of scrubs (even though I was initially intent on buying 1 pair). They didn't have a scrub top in the color and size I wanted on the day I went to purchase it, but they were able to order it to be shipped to the store for me. They said it would take about 10 days to arrive, but it ended up arriving early and only taking 5 days! (Ordered it on Wednesday, arrived on Monday). They gave me a call when it arrived and it was super easy to pick up. I don't recommend this place to anyone. When you ask the owner the kind of scrub you are looking for she says very sarcastically that it will not even fit my body. I didn't ask for her opinion. I am very disappointed with this Uniform store. I work for a hospital that has specific details of what kind of scrubs I'm supposed to wear so I have to go through each and every section that has the black uniform to check and make sure it's the same uniform material that I am wearing. So I was approached by one of the men who worked there older gentleman with white hair, asking me why I have to go from the back of the store throughout the whole store looking at everything. so I tried to explain to him the reason why I need to look through his store, but also the fact that I am making a purchase from his store, and having to be asked and followed throughout the entire store like I'm doing something wrong is Horrible. instead of kindly telling me that they were almost closing, which I still had 15 minutes to purchase something, I had to ask them if they were closing soon because I heard the radio go off in the background. Located on Euclid off the 5 freeway, down the street from Walmart and Jollybees. Kay Uniforms in Anaheim provides a vast selection and opportunity to try things on. Name brands include Dickies, Cherokee, Wonder Wink, Gray's Anatomy, Iguana Med, Urbane, Peaches, Dansko, Koi.. the list goes on. Every color, pattern, style, shape and size you can imagine. The prices range for pants from $11.99 to $24.99 and scrub tops from $13.99 to $26.99. You would do a lot better buying online, but the only trouble is you can't try the uniforms on. My mantra lately is keep the money in the city, county or state I live in as much as I can. I don't mind paying a few dollars more per item just to keep things local. The lady behind the counter wasn't very helpful or cheerful and neither were any of the other workers for that matter. They all seemed like you were bothering them, but I kind of expected that going into this and told myself that I wasn't there to make friends with the workers! Quite honestly, I don't blame the other reviewers who walked out without a purchase. If I was about to purchase almost $200 worth of uniforms and wasn't given the price marked on the item or if I was constantly chastised that the shoes I was trying on were too big, I probably would've left, BUT everyone left me alone and that was good enough for me. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!! I was not allowed to try on uniforms in store when I purchased and was never told all sales final. Their receipts say return within 14 days with original receipt and tags on items. I did that and was turned away saying they are not accepting returns. Update to David's reply: I was more than happy to take pictures of everything and post them!!!! :) Any of your customers with COMMON SENSE and ETHICS will not side with you so I'm really not that worried. You are focusing on the WRONG thing. The whole point is that YOUR STORE did not have the appropriate tag on it. I didn't try them on because I already own 8 pair at home. They are the only pants I have ever worn by them. I was up front right away about the fact that I washed them. No I didn't iron them and lint roll them before returning them. Why would I? And I really hope your product didn't look THAT awful after the initial wash. And of course I washed them! That's not very hygienic to not wash them when other people have been trying them on. Your business should understand my situation and find to make sure your product is tagged or signed appropriately and in a manner that the consumer would see and understand. We don't read style #s nor do we know how every manufacturer comes up with style #s. As far as wishing people could see what I brought back in......pay attention to the fact that my receipt is dated Sat 9/28. I washed them that night hoping to wear them Sunday. I couldn't so they've actually never been worn. I also worked all day Monday. So Tuesday, my first day off I came RIGHT back to resolve the issue. Another fact you are wrong about is that I asked for a return. I requested an EXCHANGE for the right size and was also there to buy 4 undershirts for my scrubs. Dickies scrubs are 15.99 for all their basic ones on their website. So you do mark up MSRP and I have found that to be true in the past about your store. And we all know you guys pay way under MSRP for buying bulk. So good job losing me as a customer(the other money I would've spent today even), all the people I will tell, and getting another bad review over the $7 you probably paid for those pants! They MARK UP their prices from suggested retail by the manufacturer last time I checked. Also, I was just there 3 days ago to buy a pair of pants. I have worn Dickie's brand size XXS for years. I've always worn the same ones. I found the rack with my style, looked on the store applied tags on the outside of the garments, found XXS and took it to the register. I put them in the wash and when I went to put them on, they were extremely short. I checked the tag, doesn't say petite. I checked the pants and they were in fact petite. 3 days later(my first day off) I went back with the pants, the tag as proof and my receipt just to exchange and to also buy more tops for under my scrubs and they REFUSED to let me exchange because I had washed them. I asked for the manager. I explained that I was everything before wearing for hygienic reasons and not knowing who previously tried them on(this shouldn't be a huge surprise). She then refused because the manufacturer's style # on the tag has a P in it!!!! I asked how, as a consumer, I would know that but she kept interrupting me. I asked for the owner. She took pictures of everything and refused to let me escalate it. She asked what she should do with them since the manufacturer won't take them back. I said it's their company's problem and that this is one pair of pants. She is fighting me over a pair of $16.99 pants! By the way they probably only lost $7 because they don't pay retail and they mark up their products ABOVE MSRP! I filed a complaint with the BBB. Oh they say they don't advertise with Yelp because it's unfair. Pretty sure it's because they don't treat their customers well and don't want people to know about it! However, I walked out of the store without buying any scrubs bc I didnt find the right one for me that i liked. Now, as i was exiting out of the store, i said thank you bye and the 2 owners proceeded to ask what i was looking for and i told them i was looking for scrubs for work but wasnt able to find what i was looking for. The owner basically implied how i wasn't going to find other scrubs to my liking bc itll be the same elsewhere and basically implying that i should just buy from their store.
