A shop for Uniforms? Who cares about that? I guess a lot of people do and now so do I. The shop stocks and supplies uniforms for numerous local schools and you this is the ONLY place to get the required uniforms. Well, I did get a bag of uniform stuff from the mom of one of the friends. So, I guess that counts. So, my first visit I had two things on my mind; 1) I want to meet the "arrogant" person and see how bad customer service is that was mentioned in only a couple of reviews; and 2) I was ready to get gouged with rip-off prices 'cause this is the only game in town..other than the friend's mom. 1) I did not meet anyone arrogant. The person I met was super helpful and patient. I get it..wait until the mad rush of school starting and having to deal with so many parents could make anyone a bit short...but on my visit, I only had good customer service and a good experience. 2) Prices- Wow..you mean my kid must wear a uniform every day? No dealing with brand name shoes and the short lived passing trends that change month to month and only result in a skinny wallet for me? This may actually be a money ($$$) saver. So we try stuff on and then I bluntly ask for the price. What? Excuse me what did you say? I heard prices like $15, $20 and everything was around that price range. The parka is nice and a little more but I wont need that for another 6 months or so. So, I am a fan. Prices are great (4 Stars) and Customer Service was good (4 Stars). Whenever we need school uniforms, we usually stop by here. If we start shopping early enough (well before school starts), we can usually find all the shirts and sweatshirts my son needs for school. I came here yesterday to get my son a sweatshirt and some extra polos. My son's school only ordered short sleeve shirts with the school's emblem, and his school can get really cold. Unfortunately, American Casual was out of his size for the sweatshirt, but I was able to quickly order one. The staff is friendly and helpful here. Buying the additional shirts for school was really easy. I hate looking through all the racks to find the right colors and sizes, and sales associate found everything we needed quickly. This location has a good selection and great service. The store is organized and clean. Uniforms can get pretty expensive, and we think the prices are reasonable here. Sofia, owner at American Casual, is the BOMB!!! She provided mockups of our school logo (free of charge), detailed comparisons of various products, and quantity discounts. She made the process smooth and easy for our PTSA, creating our store on her website the day we requested it. For delivery, each product is individually wrapped for each customer. She also include a sign off sheet for the school so that we didn't have to create one. I had a very bad experience with American Casual. I am a middle school principal and was trying to provide my low income families with uniforms purchased by the school for our students. I was very disappointed when my offer was declined because they did not want our families visiting the store, their words not mine. To be clear, I did not ask for free uniforms or even a discount of any sort. I wanted to provide an open PO, that we could use as needed, with the moneys coming from the school. Customer service is bad and the uniforms are made for model thin girls and only in a "skinny" option and mid rise waist. My daughter is an athlete and needs a higher rise pant and wider leg pants. Just started off with a phone call that didn't introduce themselves properly. Didn 't know who I was speaking too on the other end and me having to ask what is her name. I asked a simple question, thought that would be easy to do. They said they could do it. Searched all of orange county for scrubs in "galaxy blue" & found it here! Well priced scrubs, carry a lot of different colors, styles and size options, and even does embroidery. You can also call ahead for your size and color which is what I do since I go out of state for school. A little hard to find even if you punch it into your GPS so you might want to call ahead for directions. read more

Well this was my first time ordering custom shirts and American Casual made it easy for me. My friends and I needed tanks done for Nocturnal Wonderland and we did not want to pay an arm and a leg (maybe a kidney too) that most online custom shirt sites charge. Terrible customer service!!!!! Left on hold for over 30 minutes when I called to see if they had Sycamore jr High shirts on hand since they are the provider for the school Lady on the phone didn't even have the courtesy to check in with me. Called back several more times and no answer. Also they only visit the school every other Tuesday for only a couple hours to give students and parents an opportunity to purchase the uniforms, THATS IT! So inconvenient!!! This made me decide to go w the alternative of plain Polos and uniform wear and will def encourage other parents to do the same. I am extremely dissatisfied with the rude and disrespectful treatment by the owner of American Casual. The employees are very nice and pleasant to work with but the owners basically pushed my business away. I am trying to get shirts for a reunion and was told they cannot perform direct to garment printing (even though on a search, their name came up). They cannot screen print a picture onto a shirt. I told them it was artwork I created and not a picture and do they have basic artwork layouts that they can use to screen print within their capabilities. The customer service girl, Danielle was super nice and said she would help me to create a new layout. Ten minutes later I receive an email from the owner, Sophia, stating that the online pricing is incorrect and I will have to go elsewhere. I called her and explained that I spoke to Danielle and here is the plan. She basically told me to get lost and they would not help me. You can also have your items personalized or embroidered on location, which is super convenient. Fitting rooms are comfortable and they also have T-Shirts to layer underneath the scrub tops. The people at this place are very nice but are very pricy. I found other vendors for way cheaper that wanted to help me out and did. This vendor however gave me alot of issues. Though very communicative, I ordered embroidered shirts and as my school club board members were super excited for the embroidery, they ended up not being embroidered. Atleast the lady made up for her mistake my lowering the price a slight bit. But then they delivered the shirts to my school unexpectedly without my.payment. I graduated from the school along time ago and all my information has changed. The vendor decides to contact me and harasses me about paying what I owe. However i have learned that business are not supposed to send out inventory without first payment from a customer. Its been long since ive graduated and now I have to worry about paying for a fee that was long owed. My order was wrong, and my order shouldve been free. If something is shipped to you without payment, that is clearly a company mistake and from research ive found that I had the right to keep those items without payment. Which I shouldve done even after they threatened to contact school administrators and advisors, for an item that was WRONG, and for an item that was sent to me by mistake. I am long gone and had no need to pay. However although it was a mistake i understood that and felt that I should pay out of kindness. Next time, I should keep it. Actually there will be no next time. This place is too expensive. Got my order wrong. And gets angry if I dont pay to fix a problem they made.
