It was two weeks prior to our annual family camping trip and we hadn't ordered our t-shirts. I picked the first custom print shop on Yelp, which was Theory Printing in Santa Fe Springs because it was near my job in Downey and it had really good reviews. I decided to have them do our t-shirts and if they were not satisfactory, we would not use them for future projects. I spoke with Tom and he was very professional. He was able to work with me on the font, logo, color of shirts and the various sizes for 38+ 1 doggy shirt I requested. Unfortunately, due to the short notice I gave Tom, his vendors were unable to ship the doggy shirt I needed, but Tom made the effort to reach out to various vendors; that speaks volumes of his work ethic. As for the t-shirts, they were exactly as I ordered; the sizes were correct, the fabric was soft and of good quality at an affordable price. They looked professional, not cheap. See Mammoth Lakes group picture. But wait, it gets better. A week later, at 3:00pm on the day of the NWA movie release, my sister called me to ask if "my t-shirt guy" sold NWA shirts. I told her I didn't know, but I would send her his number. Lo and behold, Tom had NWA t-shirts printed and ready to be picked-up at 5:00pm! Is that incredible customer service or what???!!! My sister and her friends were so impressed, they will be ordering all their custom t-shirts at Theory Printing. See NWA t-shirt pictures. They do so much more than printing t-shirts. This place only gets the extra star for responding to my emails...til they didn't. Theory printing claims to offer same day service for digital printing on 5 shirts for $90. However, if more are needed, the website states to call them, which I did. The phone number listed goes directly to voicemail and one can't leave a message because their voicemail is full. I emailed them that I tried calling and Ashley responded that communication through email was best. I emailed immediately and did not receive a response until I emailed them again the following day. This was on Monday. Today is Thursday. I finally emailed that I wanted to use the yelp voucher that they have available here, and to give me an estimate for their SAME DAY SERVICE that they claim to offer. I received no response. Be wary. Communication is sorely lacking. I would not purchase the voucher here, nor would I do business with them. read more

This place is awesome. Came by on Friday 8/7/15 to get a couple shirts made with my custom logo. Had the pleasure of speaking with Tom who helped me with the entire process. I brought him 4 photos and told him how i wanted it specifically on the certain parts of the shirt and he definitely delivered. Over the weekend we were emailing back and forth to get the shirt design perfect. I originally told him i needed it next Thursday and he said no problem at all. Very unprofessional. It was one big room with a desk for one guy working and a literal fold out chair for customers to sit on. I asked for a shirt with a simple record on it (literally a circle) and the guy helping me gave me a clipboard to explain more. Uhhhh.. fine. He asked when I needed it by I said Saturday. After that he said I needed to talk to some guy but the one who designs wasn't around so they told me I should be getting a phone call that same day. I went in on MONDAY, it's now Thursday night. I do not recommend at all. They had no idea of what they were doing. I left expecting a call but after two days I looked up a place in Downey on imperial and they were so much nicer and organized. Mitchell made all of that happen not once but twice when I needed a second set in another color. This review is long overdue. Mitch took care of my group and me big time. While other stores demanded a minimum order of 50 shirts, Mitch was fine with my group's small scale order. I was tasked to find a screen printing company to get shirts made for an and coming concert. Unfortunately, due to my great ability to procrastinate, I quickly found myself with 5 days left before the concert and 20 shirts that still needed to be made. Luckily I found Mitch. He hooked me up with rushed service and didn't charge me a single penny extra for the rushed production. In addition, the images I provided to him for the printing weren't of his requested resolution and he asked if I could find more. Before I even got home to begin looking, I received an email from him informing me that he had his friend that is apparently a wizard at photoshop touch up the image that I provided and everything was ready to go. A day later, he had the screen ready to be printed, but provided me with 4 different design suggestions to choose from which he felt would look better. Mitch has a great eye for aesthetics and I ended up choosing one of his suggestions. It's been 2-3 months since the printing, and all of our shirts still look like new. No fading or cracks at all!
