I ordered custom t-shirts and the ordering process was pretty straightforward...at first. Sonia assured me that we could get my shirts in time for my son's race and I sent her all of the logos and even designed the shirt so they would have any easy time of understanding my request. A "sample" was provided for my approval and that's when things went downhill. The quality of the print was awful and the logo for my son's race team didn't even look like the logo I sent them, so much so that I was in tears. Ernie did not want to hear any negative feedback and told me he could only work with positive feedback. When I told him my concerns, he implied it was my fault for not providing the logo in a useable format, which I had - straight from the original artist. He said he would continue to work with it and asked me to come back the following morning - the day the shirts were to be completed. In good faith, I allowed this and said I would be back the next day. I came back the following day and the sample was the same poor quality and the logo was still incorrect. Ernie condescended to me and tried to educate me on the printing process and basically told me it was my fault and some of this was to be expected in the printing process. Um...no! I want what I paid for!
When I explained the issues remained and that I was unhappy, Ernie proceeded to scream at me in the front lobby of the office and tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that he never got the correct logo from me in order to make the shirts the way I wanted. I am not happy with my behavior in response, as I screamed back at him, but by this time I was way past being upset.
Sonia came down when she heard us yelling and literally had to step between us because Ernie was screaming and lunging at me. At one point he was speaking to Sonia and I tried to clarify something - he turned to me with a nasty tone and said "excuse me, I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to her!"
I'm pretty sure I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. I told them I wanted to cancel my order immediately and that I expected a full refund. Sonia agreed to the refund and I left. Sonia called me later to apologize on behalf of Ernie, noting that they did, in fact, have the correct logo and that it was an issue between the two of them. She asked if I would still like to have the shirts printed . I said I did not, as the relationship had been too damaged at that point. Sonia again advised they would issue a refund.
It's been 16 days since I was told the refund would be processed and I have received nothing. I filed a claim with PayPal and they have not heard back from the company in response to my claim. I am at the point where I now have to file a small claims case in order to get my nearly $2,000 back for product that I never received and for an experience that was the worst I have ever had as far as customer service.
