The office is small, but it feels like a very personal experience - far different than a big chain optician. The staff are so patient and explained everything to me. The testing was really thorough, and Dr. Braun took their time to explain my results and present multiple treatment options for me. They have really nice frames to try on, and I found a pair I loved. They also gave some samples of contact lens solution to try as well as eye drops. I can't recommend Dr. Braun and their team enough - I'll be a patient for as long as I live in Syracuse.

Anyone who knows me, knows I have an intense fear of the eye doctor, as I simply cannot stand the idea of anyone putting anything in or near my eye. Enter a whole lot of anxiety.... I saw a commercial for Malara Eye Care, but also was given positive reviews by a few friends, so I figured I would try it out. As a new patient, they were able to schedule an appointment very quickly, and when I arrived for my first appointment, they were all very welcoming and kind. My wait was very brief, and Dr. Malara was thorough in his exam, as was his staff. They noted my anxiety and assured me that I would not deal with that "puff of air" or any eye drops, and gave me an alternative option to having my eyes dilated. WIN!!!!! I left with 20/50 vision, new contacts and a new set of glasses, but most importantly, I have no fears about the next time I will have to go back.

When I arrived, they got me checked in right away even though there were a lot of people waiting. The eye exam was less than 5 minutes and checked me out in less than 5 minutes. Although I wasn't looking for glasses, they have a lot of options - and CUTE ones!! The only reason why I gave them a 4/5 is because they didn't have my contacts in stock to give me a sample, but experience and staff was 5/5!!

I've been using LensCrafters for years now to try out and order new frames and lenses. The staff…read morehere at this location (former Shoppingtown Mall store) is outstanding and the new location is very nice. Selection is quite vast as you'd expect from a large eyewear chain like LensCrafters. They are patient with you while you try on a large pile of frames, and add them to an area where they will be sanitized before going back on the shelf. Everyone I dealt with on my last visit to get new glasses and sunglasses was friendly and professional. The gentleman who helped order my lenses and fit me for them was awesome and one of the reasons I continue to use them. I did have to wait about 20 minutes to pick up my new frames when they came in, but it's to be expected when the store is busy and people are getting personalized service. All in all, I've found no reason to switch from LensCrafters in Dewitt after al these years. they continue to do a great job and offer a great selection.
