He knew immediately pricing, appointment times, delivery policy etc. I found this to not be true of some other companies. For example, upon calling some of the others the person answering the telephone did not have current prices or know their companies policy on minimum delivery amount etc. They had to have someone call me back. Weird and very annoying. Who has time for that. So I appreciated Town & Country's quick and friendly response. I just received my delivery yesterday. The delivery person was quick and left my bill and a small gift of a nice mug and magnet and company info at the door. Very nice touch! Will use this company again in the future I am sure.

("Due to rising fuel prices.") We decided to call around and Rhoads sent a team of two people out to look over our tanks and go over what things we use propane for. After talking to the team, they presented us with a contract that didn't require a sign-up fee each year and a gas price of almost half the one the former company wanted us to pay. Young man, I need help in paint dept. within 20 seconds, a terrific young lady helps and paint is shaken, not stirred. ; ) Back at checkout, with many more than I came for. Same young man at checkout. Terrific guy. That's the reason I frequent Ace and True Value and avoid the warehouses. This is a decent-sized Ace Hardware store. Do they have everything the warehouse carries? No, of course not. This is not a football field-sized store. Do they carry just about everything a good hardware carries? Yup. There are always notes to contact me. That much is true. However, the drivers sometimes don't read them. Sometimes ignore them. Sometimes incorrectly interpret them. Occasionally they even follow them and get it right. I am not stating anything here except the truth.

Go out check my propane level and I'm down to 18%…read more I call my propane company if the last 10 years, and they tell me they are three weeks out to fill. Normally they do come out the next day. They tell me since I own my tank to go try somewhere else. Panicked, I start calling around. It's the coldest in a long time around here, and no one is picking up. I leave messages as I get ready for the wedding. Eric from Gastec calls back and after a few forms they tell me they'll be out as soon as possible. Two days later, worrying I may of messed up waiting so long they came out and filled the tank! $10 hazardous charge and lower price from my other supplier. I will definitely be using them again!!! Thanks to them for coming out so quickly!
