I'm fully aware my body hates me and decides to do crazy messed up things to me. But, I thought I was actually okay when it came to my eyes. WRONG. Why would I even presume that?
I went to Dr. Katz cause I figured it was time to see an eye doctor and I'm glad I did. I spent a good 2 hours in the exam room with him as he tried to figure out what was wrong with me. Half of the time he spent asking me, "is the red ball above the black ball and if so to what side". Apparently, this is the test which I failed at. I'm so happy, cause now I have glasses and contacts and I can actually read correctly and see things correctly. It's so nice to finally be able to do that after 22 years of not being able to.
He's really sweet and his staff is even sweeter. Although, when you do go into the office you'll feel like you immediately time warped to the 70's and no, this is not your eyes playing a trick.
Oh on a side note, if you have a really jacked up prescription and he's able to get your contacts, like he was for me, don't even bother asking if color is possible because he'll just stare you down and ask you if you're nuts. read more
