Through a friend referral I found JDX and I'm so glad I did. Working with Joon was so easy and pleasant. Arrived on time to take measurements, provided a quote on the spot. The blinds arrived quickly and Joon texted to set an install appointment. The install of 11 blinds took about 30-45 minutes. Joon and Bob worked carefully to instal and ensure that the blinds worked properly. So happy with the finished look. I look forward to not having to dust shutters or blinds. I waited 2 days before finally calling the glass doctor office and was sent my quote. Almost $800 for the replacement, which was a fair price and I put down the deposit for half of the total cost. Window was ordered and told 10 days it would be installed. 10 days goes by and nothing. Finally after 3 weeks glass arrives and guess what, it's too small. Had to wait another 2 weeks and now the glass fits, but is dirty in between the 2 panes. Tech installed the dirty glass and I haven't heard from them since. Was supposed to have new glass and reinstall He also left the frame on the inside of the house off.

I used them twice for different houses, so that alone is a testament of my good experience with this company. On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

Katy Plantations and Melanie are the best. We are doing shutters in the entire house and it is a BIG investment for our family but Katy Plantations had no problems working within our budget and breaking the project in phases that we can budget easier. So far the experience has been wonderful and the fact that we are working with a local manufacturer and our money is helping the local Katy economy is a plus. Having shutters custom made look a lot better that the Big Box alternatives out there. The detail and craftsmanship are obviously better. Also, our first window shutter only took about a 10 days from order to installation. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommended. read more

I spend a good deal of time here cooking for family and friends and it has been the central gathering place the whole time we lived here. My wife visited the showroom and friendly staff worked with her for over an hour to identify exactly what she was looking for. Quartz was her choice. After walking through the inventory I found several beautiful and affordable granite alternatives but she had already made up her mind. Tony was great to work with and explained the key differences in materials. He helped us with an undermount sink and also showed us the options for edges. Bolfing Bros delivered a detailed quote and they told us it would take 2-3 weeks. After we signed the contract they called us a week or so later to visit with the fabricator for layout. I was able to suggest an alternative seam location and it worked out famously! When the installers came out the ripped out the old laminate and installed new decking and then installed the new counters all the same day. When they left, everything was cleaned up and my wife was ecstatic.

Avoid Kanios Roofing. No Warranty, No Proof of Work, Zero Accountability (our main contacts were…read moreKobi A. and Delonte B.-D.) We hired Kanios Roofing to fix a leak in our master bathroom. They came out, charged us, told us it was fixed and promised to send before and after photos. We never got those photos. We were just left on read. A few months later the exact same leak came back. When I asked about a warranty I found out they offer zero warranty on repair work, not even one year (it was buried in the fine print and I didn't know any better at the time. So my mistake there). Pretty much every other roofing company I've dealt with since then offers at least a one-year warranty. After the second leak I had multiple roofers come look at it. The difference was huge. Most companies sent an actual roofer who climbed the ladder and walked the roof. Kanios only sends salespeople who fly a drone, snap a few pictures and leave. The roofers who actually got up there told me there was no sign of any repair in the area that's leaking. The only patch they found was around a completely different vent that had nothing to do with our problem. Kainos just insisted the work was done correctly and refused to send anyone back out to check. No accountability at all. I'm now paying Gabriel with TrueWorks Roofing to fix it right. They climbed the roof themselves, spotted the real issue in minutes and are doing the job with a proper warranty. They even spotted a hole in my home that Kainos didn't even point out during their visit Lesson I learned the hard way: always go with a roofer who physically gets on your roof instead of just flying a drone, and always pick one that actually gives you a warranty on the work. Plenty of good companies do both. Kanios does neither. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
