The owner is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He yells at his coaches and the kids and has told girls (10-12 years old) that they suck on many different occasions. He also yells at the parents, and communication is very poor. If you decide to go here do not pay in full, if your child gets hurt you will not get a refund. All he cares about is making money, and not how he treats the people who help him make it. With that being said, there are many more volleyball clubs all around Houston with coaches who will be more invested in developing your child's volleyball skills, and who are a lot more competitive than Katy Elite. I HIGHLY suggest considering other options where you and your child will be respected.

She was very knowledgeable about the equipment and what the gym offered. In fact, many of the ambassadors that I did spoke to over the phone has been informative and very friendly. They do not rush for you to sign up for a membership. In fact, you can sign up as member and do a trial seven day and cancel anytime. You can also become a member and cancel anytime with a 30 days notice. There are so many options, if plans change and need to remove members from your account or add. Group classes for various of times throughout the day and trained lifeguards for the pool areas. it appears to be safe within the facilities. This is a convenient day spa to unwind and relax. There's extra fees for upgraded amenities and classes. The app is a great way to keep everything organized and your members! ;) Thank you for the tour!

In one example not only the half-used bottle of water was left behind on the treadmill, there were food crumbs on it. In another example an underwear was hung on the wall of a women's bathroom stall. Unfortunately despite repeated reporting to the manager/supervisor things are getting worse. 2. For almost $80 I pay for a locker, I am supposed to receive free laundry but practically I can't use this service because their laundry service destroyed one of my t-shirts and I was never compensated for it. 3. Their recovery room is closed for 1.5 hours (2:00-3:30) every business day which makes no sense. For the upscale club that this is supposed to be, the above issues should not exist.

If you have eucalyptus oils, I suggest to get a towel and put it on the towel( personal wash cloth) , walk in and kinda inhale it while you in there with the steam. 10/10 !!!! I also like to take showers here lol I've never been to a gym and was excited to take a shower after working out in pool because most of the times gyms don't keep up their bathrooms . But not this gym.! They're about $10 a day which I pay because I don't have a membership and just can't afford one right now but I do come once a month. Late fee is $32 and if you have multiple cards on your account, the primary is locked because you're off shore due to work, YOU ARE still going to be charged the late fee $32 but the very next day they will charge any card on file and of course it goes through. Unfortunately they will not refund because per Villa Sport, "late fee is late fee". So people read your contract carefully because I also had to pay $80 to cancel the membership. Any other amenities you also have to pay more to add onto membership. Lifetime didn't give me all this hassle. Mind you I used the gym a few times per month when I would return back. It was so inconvenient that freezing also came with a specific time lock, 30 days. So if I arrived before the account would unfreeze I still couldn't use it. There are just more classes available in the day than nights. Wish there were more options for healthcare workers that work graveyard shifts.

Along with their move, came some much needed upgrades. 6+ volleyball courts, separating nets, gym, turf training area, concessions, restrooms, matted flooring, seating, etc. Everything is just so much nicer than their old location. I'd say the only downside is no AC other than fans for when it's hot. If it's cold, wear a long sleeve and you'll be fine. Open gym is every Tues, Thurs, and Sun I believe. It used to be $5/person, but now it's $10/person. But I honestly don't mind the small price increase if it means this place stays in business for years to come. Covid has affected many small businesses so please to everyone in the Houston volleyball community, support Spike Sport. You can also rent a private court depending on availability for $55/hr. April was our instructor and we had a small class of 4 people. Classes are held in the pool. I was a little scared of falling in the water and everyone did at one point but we mostly stayed on the boards doing the various yoga poses. The class was about 50 minutes long and very well worth the cost of 45.00. We were able to tighten the tether to keep the boards from shifting so much during class. Since I move around the country with my travel and contract lifestyle it made sense to keep my services for hair cuts & color at Lifespa at Lifetime Fitness, instead of finding a salon in every city I move to, that can cut & color my hair. I have been to Lifespa for services to cut and color my hair in GA, VA and TX. Every time I went to Lifespa the service went well and the hair stylists were always professional and kind. Worth every penny. Today I was treated so poorly by AB a hair stylist and colorist at Lifespa Fitness in CYPRESS TX with 14 years experience. She refused to do my service and humiliated me infront of other customers. Six weeks ago she colored my roots, cut my hair and blew it out. She advised me to book a root touch up, gloss & face framing cut at check out and schedule it before my birthday brunch. I took her advice and scheduled it the day before my 51st birthday brunch. Today was my appointment the day before my birthday brunch tomorrow. She walked up already in a bad mood. The traffic had me 15 mins late. I apologized for my delay. Maybe she was feeling over whelmed because the time I was scheduled for my service was 4pm and it was going to take time. She could have been more polite and professional. She sat me at her station and started dry cutting my hair pieces around my for face framing with a razor. The ends of my hair she was cutting with a razor look like split ends. I spoke up and asked can she use scissors because that makes my hair look like split ends. Which is a problem with my thick hair. Point cutting also makes my hair look like split ends. We had this conversation at my last appointment with her. She mixed the color but did not start to deposit it on my root. She was offended I asked her to use scissors instead of a razor. Instead of being accommodating she refused to do my hair and pushed me to leave. I explained to her tomorrow is my birthday brunch and you said you would take care of my hair the last time I saw you. I asked will you at least do my roots and a blow out. She refused. I was so humiliated. I saw her 6 weeks ago. She was so nice, talkative and fun. Today she was horrible. There was NO MANAGER on site to speak to about this horrible humiliating treatment. Be Cautious.

There was also a bowling alley and it looked like a water slide but it was closed that day. Tennis courts everywhere and pickleball courts too. I didn't see the gym. The food they offered wasn't the greatest for how much they charge but I didn't pay for anything so maybe it was just the food that they provided that was mediocre. We did ask the staff to cook the pizza some more as it was kind of undercooked and doughy and the staff was extremely nice and didn't have a problem helping us out. I spoke to one of the members while I was relaxing in the patio area and he was telling me about all of the events for members that are free with the membership. Really cool place.

The vents are lined with mold. Most of the lockers rarely work. The carpet may be from when they opened. It's super matted, stained and disgusting. To top it off the sign for westside is dirty. They do an amazing job taking care of all the animals. Matter a fact the animals enclosure are cleaned daily but and they even got new penguins. But they have yet to even redo the women's locker room. To add the indoor hot tub, cold plunge area was redone but is rarely cleaned. There is still grime around the poles and it's generally sopping wet in there with hairs and dirt everywhere. It's unhygienic and unsanitary. Westside please do better. The gym has everything you need. However as far as maintenance of areas and cleanliness it's a 1-Star. Who what's yoninhsle mood while showering. And the cold plunge and hot tub area/pools still reeks of mold. So they may have redone the area but whatever they did did not remove the mold smell that sticks to your body when utilizing the indoor hot tub and indoor cold plunge. Maybe it needs new piping and better extreme ventilation.
