Dr. Allen Lee retired. I just found this out after I moved back from Texas…read more Dr. Ling Lu bought his practice (I guess...I don't know how doctors work). Anyway, she's great! I got my gf to switch over to her from her current PCP. And my gf is happy with her. 1) No wait time 2) You ONLY see Dr. Lu and not some medical assistant 3) They don't rush you in and out as if you were cattle trying to you milk you and your insurance for money 4) She totally devotes her time to you. She'll answer all of your questions and concerns. At first, I was skeptical because I thought she was too young and inexperienced. She proved me wrong. She actually gives a shit whether or not you want to hear it. 5) Co-pay. When my gf asked if she had a co-pay, the receptionist told her no. My gf's former PCP required her to pay a $10 co-pay.

Easy to schedule an appointment. But after that-watch out…read more 1. Arrived on time. Filled out paperwork. Waited 40 minutes! before they took me. Quite long waiting time for my taste. Hmmm.... My time is precious too actually. And no, it is not ok for a lady without an appointment to go ahead of me just because she brought you cookies. 2. Now to the visit itself. Seems that he does not understand much. Did not ask me what vitamins I am taking. Only asked about medications. I pointed out that I am not taking medication but I take vitamins. He did not care about that. Dear doctor, what if i am overdosing on calcium? Or other vitamins that can be harmful if taken too long and too much? Nop, he does not care. 3. Have any concerns about the condition that you might have? I have a condition that needs to be watched. Well, his response is "Does that bother you, prevents you from breathing?" Excuse me, I did not know that we need to wait for the condition to accelerate to the level where it prevents me from breathing. I thought the point of monitoring your health problems is to prevent those problems from developing further or catch them if they become worse. 3. Got my blood work back. So, if there anything that is wrong with you blood results-something has lower or higher level that needed, his response is "go ask another doctor, maybe he recommends something". Aren't you a doctor and can prescribe me something to stabilize the level??? I am expecting you to tell me that you are recommending me XYZ. On a positive note-he is nice, his medical assistant is nice, he returns your phone calls promptly, and the front desc seems professional. But in the end, I would like a little more attention to my health and respect for my time.

Dr. Steinmetz is just a caring, understanding, well-mannered, humble, and gracious person. I have to say person, because he has to be such a person first to be a doctor with those qualities. Not to be ignored is his staff. His staff is just as courteous and understanding. I read reviews putting them down - but I beg to say, the person writing such a review, doesn't quite have an understanding of what to expect from an office staff in such a delicate yet fast-moving environment, attending to phones, patients, and any requests of the doctor... May Jehovah God bless Dr. Steinmetz and his staff, giving all of them good health and long life so they may take care of us who need them.
